Leo’s Coney Island

Our go to place for fast and good eats. Food is tasty, prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly. We typically go for breakfast, brunch/​lunch and the menu selection is large enough to satisfy pretty much anyone. Love the home made greek salad dressing. Pretty good biscuits and gravy. Chicken kabob is very tasty. Great diner food at great prices.

There is something for everyone at Leo’s. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all offered. We often frequent this location for breakfast after church, and service is quick and friendly. Family favorites are the strawberry pancakes with whipped cream, French toast, canned corned beef hash fried to perfection, and their omelettes. Prices are reasonable, and even more so with the coupons circulated in monthly fliers as well as online. The kids like it because there are free suckers at checkout for the younger members of the family. The restaurant was remodeled within the past couple years and is a mixture of booths and tables.

Wow I forgot as well they also took 20 minutes to bring are food and they took literally that long to tell us that the chef has no srimp wow

Friendly staff, and quick service. But the food sucks. Went in for a carry-​out, and most of the fries were under cooked, you could taste the raw potatoes.
Overall food wasn’t very tasteful. The cooks suck!

Amazing. My family goes every week. Cheap, easy, fast, and yummy. Service consistently exceeds expectations.

Cold breakfast skillet! And they advertise it as new on their menu! Bummer. Service is at two stars… Not so happy wait staff. The skillet was so cold that even the onions where still uncooked and cheese on top w didn’t even melt ! I will never be back again!

I’ve given this Coney Island three stars because of the food and an extra star for the service. This is obviously one of the hot spots on Sunday after church because when I visisted this morning at about 10:30 it was PACKED. Despite the crowd, I was able to find the last table available and a waitress came by quickly to ask what I wanted to drink.
I ended up having a half order of french toat and a side of bacon. It was pretty good! The bacon was nice and crispy. The french toast was your run of the mill french toast, but it was still good.
Like I mentioned, it was packed, but the service was relatively quick and the waitresses were very pleasant!
The menu is one of the most extensive I have ever seen. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish, pasta, breakfast, french fries, chili, etc… They have just about everything. It may not be healthy, but it is delicious.
Their hours are reasonable and they have take out!

Average good (not as good as the Leo’s in Plymouth or Parthenon Coney), good service, friendly, varied menu. An ok place but there are better diners around.

I confess I’m a repeat offender for coming here for their omelettes. The service is super fast even when they are busy.

If you’re going to Coney you’re going for some good, quick, and cheap eats. This one in particular is a good staple for Canton for just that. There are many Coney’s to choose from around Southeastern Michigan but you can’t go wrong with just about any of the Leo’s!

Stopped going to this Leo’s because every time we went in our waitresses were terrible. Very poor service, all snobs and have attitudes about everything. Don’t even ask them a question about something on the menu or ask to have something substituted, they will answer you in a sarcastic tone and roll their eyes.

This is a great coney island. The food is consistent and the service is quick. I’ve never had a bad waitress. I often come with my 4 year old son and they are sweet to him and always remember to bring a spoon for him to eat his rice. :)

I am giving 4 stars mainly because the burgers were good and the manager sought our feedback. The service by the waitress Brittany C. was really bad, she seemed annoyed and unhappy which affected our overall experience. One of us accidentally spilled a cup of water on the table, instead of reassuring and helping, the waitress was snappy about it while the manager came and cleaned the table himself, we overheard her complaining about it.
The manager noticed we were not happy with the service and was very kind, he gave us 15% discount on the total bill.
I would go again to this place but I hope the waitress would change her attitude or I would want to be served by somebody else.
There is not tables big enough to accommodate more than 6 people together but the food and atmosphere were good overall.

Good food and good prices! They seem to really care about making their customers happy. Most of the waitstaff are friendly and efficient.

Dropping two stars from my previous rating. Technically, I should probably drop it one, but I’m dropping it one more for the level of frustration I feel and for pain & suffering.
This place is more inconsistent than a fast food drive thru.
This place is more inconsistent than the 2013 Detroit Tigers.
This place is more inconsistent than Michigan weather. Boom. Burn.
Don’t give me a side of cottage cheese on a giant plate in a giant heap every time… and then switch it up and put it on some tiny, dinky plate and still charge me the same price. Get some sort of quality control up in this piece.
Consistency is the key to success in any business… unless you’re consistently crappy. I order the same crap every time I’m in here. It comes out different every time. Different portions, different preparations, different presentations… when it’s good, it’s good… and I know it can be good… which is why it’s so effing disappointing when you feel like they’re skimping.

Decent food and good service. The Greek salad dressing is amazing. Everything else is pretty darned good. Breakfast, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, lemon rice soup — all solid. This Leo’s Coney is in a busy strip mall. Our last visit was about 6pm on a Friday and the place was almost full, but the service was efficient and we were in and out in half an hour. We get carry out Greek salad from time to time and it is easily the best item on the menu.

As far as Coney Islands go, this place is decent. I like the lemon chicken rice soup. The prices are really cheap.

We have enjoyed the meals we have ordered: chic gyros, salads and soup. Good portion sizes etc…
CON: I don’t appreciate the constant invitations and free passes offered by the personal trainers from the gym next door… but that is not the fault of Leo’s.

I got there at 11:15 on a Saturday morning. I had my mind set on a good breakfast, but the breakfast specials ended at 11:00. My waitress came promptly with coffee and water. She had served me before, but it has been over a month since I was there. Wow! (I’m a coffee lover. Leo’s has meh coffee, but they keep it coming and it’s hot and fresh)
I asked if I could have the one of the breakfast specials and she said «For you? No problem!» (I know, I know. But this is called service, and you don’t get it in many restaurants) The eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and toast arrived quickly and were delicious. I destroyed my breakfast meat diet and had a wonderful breakfast.
This was one of those meals that was just perfect. This is a busy and friendly restaurant. I don’t hesitate to complain when food and service is bad, so I over tipped to make up for the teenagers and told the cashier the food was great, as usual. The owner overheard since he was cooking in the kitchen right next to the cashier.
My usual breakfast is oatmeal, so this was a treat. I know I’ll be back.

Loved their chili! I order the chili omelet and requested extra chili topped with cheese and onion and it was delicious. They gave great portions, and staff was quick and pleasant. Great vacation dining spot.
