$ 12 bucks for a burger in a place with no wait staff and as much atmosphere as a Subway is about $ 4 too much. It was really good and the gluten –free bun was actually really good for Gluten-free, some of that stuff is horrible. It’s a good idea, but $ 35 for two burgers, one fry and one shake split in two cups?

This was yummy fast food. It’s simple, straightforward high quality burgers and fries. The idea of moo cluck moo is apt. It’s chicken or beef or lamb so I suppose it could be moo cluck baa. But that might scare people away.

Just wasn’t wowed. I hated the bun. And honestly I just wasn’t wowed. I won’t go back. Healthy food can taste good and this was just meh.

I love this place! I have been here multiple times trying several different items on the menu! The monthly specials are probably the best, every month a new burger, fry, and shake! The burgers a very juicy and original, the fries are unique and delicious, and shakes are very very good! I will be back again. Ohh and the staff is always friendly and fun!

I decided to try this place one more time. The bun doesn’t seem to be as bad as I remembered. It had a bit better consistency. They now have more choices for buns(but all still gluten free). The meat was really good, and they had more choices of cheese. I got the smoked Gouda which was great. They’re now offering combos which include your choice of their various types of fries and a drink. This makes their prices a bit more reasonable. I like that they have Northwoods Soda instead of your standard Coke or Pepsi, and is made with real sugar instead of HFCS. I think they have earned an extra star from me.

The gluten free buns used are disgusting. They’re dry and taste like you’re eating cardboard.

The burgers and fries are amazing! All of the burger toppings are always fresh and tasty. The fry seasoning is a great treat. The pop machine is loaded with Northwood, which is really tasty(it’s the first non Coke brand I’ve enjoyed). The only reason I marked 4 stars instead of 5 had nothing to do with the food. My only gripe with this place is it’s always freezing inside(at last during the winter). So you need to eat kind of fast so your food doesn’t get cold. If they turn up the thermostat this is a 5 star burger joint!

So my husband and I decided to get carry out. We both got a burger, fries and shake. Let’s just say my favorite part of the meal was the shake. The burger was dry and small. The bun was very thin and had an strange texture. The fries were odd and kind of a cross between a potato stick and a french fry. The shake was out of this world! I got a black cherry shake which they make with Calder’s ice cream. Now, the price…$ 30! I thought this was a little on the pricey side given the portion sizes. I attribute the prices to the higher wages for employees and the healthier ingredients. This was the one and only time I’ve had food from here. Not sure that I’ll be back but if I am it will probably be just for a shake.

I came here with a friend and high hopes for some tasty gluten-free and organic food. Unfortunately, service was very slow — we waited 30 minutes for our two sandwiches and one order of fries. My friend got a special off the February menu and she was not very impressed. The sandwich was much smaller than anticipated and she forked over $ 8 for it. I got the Notorious Cluck that sounded delicious but had no flavor. I did appreciate the fresh coleslaw that accompanied the fried chicken but the chicken was very bland. The parsley fries were very tasty but also needed some salt. I did enjoy the bun that my sandwich was served on and the local sodas available. Overall, not impressed and probably won’t be visiting again.

For quality, price, and location(with great parking), I love this burger place — even with its corny names on the menu. moo cluck moo is basically a fast food burger and chicken sandwich joint — with high quality ingredients. Their beef is grass fed, the chicken is hormone free, and both were grown without antibiotics. All of their buns are both dairy and gluten free. The milk and ice cream they use is from Calder’s Dairy, a local farm that you can visit in Carleton. They serve a variety of burgers: multiple sizes for beef, lamb, and vegetarian, and fried or grilled chicken sandwiches. They also serve french fries and popcorn-style fried chicken. In addition to their standard menu, they have a monthly seasonal them that is applied to each section of the menu(January 2016 was Caribbean, so lots of jerk seasoning). I had a baa(lamb burger) it was well seasoned and cooked. I ordered it straight from the menu on a cajun flavored bun. It was served raw onion, feta, and a cumin-flavored aioli. It was simple and delicious. Everything melded together well, and the juice from the burger and creamy aioli soaked beautifully into the bun. And this was no factory style bun. It was large enough, thick enough, light, not too dense, but solid. The cajun seasoning was in the dough, not on baked or sprayed on top. It was perfect for carrying a burger or hot sandwich of any kind. I also ordered the fries seasoned with some kind of spice blend! They were medium thick, well cooked — crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and so wonderfully seasoned. The spice was hot without making me sweat, and the portion was way more than enough for one person. It was hard for me not to overeat because they were perfect. The soda selection at moo cluck moo is important. They use Northwood’s sodas, made in Michigan, and sweetened with cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. These are good sodas! I loved the cherry cream soda and the root beer. When you eat inside the sodas are bottomless, and you serve yourself, so take your time and try a few. Service on Saturday between noon and 1:00 was quick, and they took time to bring me my order instead of calling my name. Business was not super busy, though, so it might be slower if there were more customers. The person who took my order was knowledgeable and helpful guiding me through the menu efficiently so I could order quickly, too.

Garlic fries were average and didn’t have a robust flavor. The moo burger was okay between me and my daughters we immediately had diarrhea after ingestion, not sure if this is a common experience after eating grassfed cow.

I’ve been here twice, once several years ago, and just recently again. Finding out they are now gluten free was the reason for my return, since my wife is now gluten free. There are a limited amount of restaurants out there that make it easy to be gluten free, and this is certainly one of them. I had the biggest moo, my wife had the fried cluck, and we shared a garlic fry and chocolate milk shake. I enjoyed my burger, my wife thought hers was just ok, the fries were decent, and the milk shake was very tasty. The food was not as greasy as most burger joints. Felt full but not weighted down. Total for the bill came to about $ 27. The bun was good for being gluten free. Place is small and casual. We will be back again. Certainly would recommend for the gluten free crowd.

This place is perfect for my family. Eating out with a toddler I’d not always easy. But this place pairs quality meats with a informal atmosphere. You order your grass-fed beef, chicken or Lamb then take a seat. They bring it to you pretty quick. Freshly cooked. I want to come back and Rey more after we visit Ikea. Think I’ll be hungry again? I hope so. My husband had a basic beef Burger with cheddar and I had the baa Burger which was Lamb, feta and onion with some kind of yummy sauce. Both items tasted fresh. You could taste the quality. We also tried their jerk fries. It was on the January specials menu. So much spice. So much yum. They have burgers, salads, fries, onion rings, and shakes. It looks like some kind of small batch sodas in the machine also. Very casual. Clean.

Oh Myyyyy the Freshest. when I walked in the door I knew I was in for a treat. the finest freshest ingredients, and bargain prices — served quickly. WOW. This place should have locations in all major cities because they are that good. The chicken breast sandwich was huge, and not steroid big — but free range full cut breast. tender, juicy and well seasoned. this is what chicken should taste like. Gluten Free Hot Bread — Yes Marge, it’s made fresh when you order, and the fries. ooooooooooo… thought I was in amsterdam enjoying the worlds most crunchy frites. no grease, just crunchy flavor. the cold slaw was so tasty I had a side order and they even added more to my sandwich. I will always make sure to stop here if I’m out there. Jimmy Schmidt is a flavor genius. His menu makes your palate come alive. come eat and you will surely return.

Love this place! It is truly healthy fast food. You won’t find the quality of ingredients in very many restaurants let alone fast food. They have a really cool menu the changes monthly. Jimmy Schmidt of the rattlesnake comes up with the recipes! Please support this local gem! There is nothing else like it.

Everything is pretty good here, and it’s great to support a conscientious business. I think the buns have gotten better since the first version they switched to. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have a gluten bun, but they are back to being tasty and basically holding together, unlike the first version. Everything we’ve had has been solid and service is always good.

For someone who must have gluten free I am ecstatic to find Moo Cluck Moo! We tried several different sandwiches, fries, chicken bits, chocolate shake and carbonated drinks. Everything was perfectly cooked and YUMMY. Our grandson(2 y o) dropped his personal spoon and the staff offered to wash it!!! Just great service AND food!!!

It’s too bad about this place. We were fans. We had gone here more than a half dozen times. The burgers and chicken sandwiches were delicious. The shakes were indulgent. It is cool that they pay their employees a good wage. We support that. However we will never come back because burgers come on buns and these new buns are horrible. I somewhat get the impulse to be a gluten-free restaurant. It doesn’t conflict with a company mission to bring in fresh local ingredients and it goes along with a «healthy» image.(Quotes are intentional – we’re still talking about junk food.) But what I don’t get is alienating your loyal customers. Give us an option to have a bun with gluten in it and we would be glad to come back and give you a higher rating. Your gluten-free buns taste awful and gluten-free people shouldn’t be happy about bad substitute products. I’m not sure a hamburger bun is something that can be both gluten free and tasty.

This place is the bomb if you have a gluten allergy, because literally EVERYTHING on the whole menu is GLUTENFREE! The Notorious Cluck is sooooo good. The burgers are great too. Their fries are awesome. The shakes are awesome. Everything about this place is simply awesome. The staff is nice and they actually have passion for the food they cook and care about the people they serve. Oh and the buns. Lets talk about the buns! They’re literally the best gluten free buns I have ever had the pleasure of eating. They’re pretty stirdy, as far as gluten free buns go. They’re multi grain, not white. They dont taste like theyre loaded with sugar. Try it, you will love it!

One of the things that I love about this place is that they serve Northwoods Soda! I love this stuff and binge on it when I come in here. I don’t normally drink pop but when I am here I drink plenty of cups of it. The food here is very good. I personally enjoy the Bugger Moo and have also had good experiences with the chicken. The fries are very good, I usually get the sea salt fries. One of the great things about this place is they serve Calders ice cream. You can get a scoop of ice cream and get any flavor of Northwoods to go with it. Ultimately, I love that this place has an emphasis on health. I realize that it’s a «fast food» burger place but serving grass fed burgers and protein buns is a step in a better direction. I always come in here when I’m in Canton or Dearborn Heights.
