The entire experience is absolutely exceptional! You are greeted warmly by the hostess Jackie every single time. We just got done having the most sensational breakfast on a beautiful Saturday morning at Cape May point. The drive to the restaurant is so pleasant and the community around it is quaint and adorable, as is the restaurant. The menu is unique, extremely creative, and utterly delicious. I have eaten here many many times for breakfast, brunch, lunch, & dinner and have yet to have a bad meal of any sort. You can get fresh squeezed juices as well. Mine this morning consisted of beets and apples. Great for you and refreshing to drink. I usually order eggs for breakfast and they prepare them many different unique ways but this morning I had a corn, crab, and poblano pepper pancake covered in arugula and crème fraîche with bacon. It was unbelievably unique and so amazingly good! This place never ever ceases to amaze me in how the food is presented. Keep up the good work. I know I will be back many many many times.

YES! This is EXACTLY how a cape may brunch should be. We felt a beautiful breeze outside near the gardens, seated in the open porch/veranda in the back. Service was great, and the maitre D, possibly owner, was a wonderful added bonus full of energy and friendliness. The food did not need ANYTHING additional added to it– no salt, pepper or hot sauce– NADA. My husband ordered shrimp tacos that we BOTH loved(although agreed that a third taco would make it a fill-you-up meal, while 2 left you desiring just a bit more) and I had the Latino breakfast that had some fresh crema and plantains on the beans and eggs that just was wonderful. Why not a 5? The pancakes were not good at all. They tasted like baking soda and definitely seemed like something went wrong with this batch. We should have said something and I know they would have replaced it or compensated for it, but we were busy with the baby and toddler. It may just have been a bad batch and I don’t think their pancakes would be like this. Definitely a wonderful wonderful brunch experience not to be missed in Cape May!

Beautiful relaxing setting, reasonable service the omlettes we ordered were not bad but below expectations. Perhaps they just were having a bad day bit the Spanish potatoes were just below temperature the cheese in the omlettes was not quite melted and the ham used was certainly below expectation as it appeared to be simple sliced ham one would find at a cheap deli… Lots of room for improvement… Coffee was a bit on the weak side… Price was reasonable but would be happy to pay more for better execution of the meal.

It’s difficult to find a restaurant that’s doing breakfast dishes that are creative, interesting, and a little different. Especially when I travel, I tire of the sameness, and lack of variety of most breakfast joints. Everyone is doing the same old-same old, and their menus all bore me. To my delight I discovered The Red Store. The restaurant feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, a wonderful nowhere. It’s in a quaint, picturesque, and peaceful neighborhood that’s mostly residential, and the ride from Wildwood was beautiful on a warm, late summer morning. Best of all, the menu has creative spins on all the standard breakfast items. I’m a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich and I love spicy foods. Put the two together and I find it irresistible. My chorizo torta was delicious. House made spicy sausage, avocado, roasted poblano peppers, cheddar, tomato, red onion, and fresh crema, on a thin hamburger style bun. I also added a runny, over easy egg. That’s a lot of stuff! But it made for a flavorful, creamy, spicy, juicy, mess. I loved it! The home fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The well seasoned potatoes were very crispy, and the peppers and onions added contrasting texture and flavor. Perhaps the only misstep of the morning was that my potatoes arrived barely warmed through, and were cold before I could eat half of them. My wife loved her ABLT. Avocado, bacon, arugula, and tomato jam on a toasted croissant. She gobbled up every last bite, which is rare for her.
