Denny’s

Stay away from here. Stopped for breakfast and two of the wait staff are outside the front door smoking and then come back in and continue working. Ordered eggs over easy with hash browns. The potatoes were raw and the eggs were cooked as a group of three eggs so turned out raw also. Then the waitstaff tried to explain to me what over easy was. Really??? Food took forever to come out and they weren’t even busy. Again — stay away.

Horrible service. I just ate here and it wasn’t crowded. First, server took forever to appear. Got my soda & I ordered — Super Bird with fries. She left the 2 menus on the table. Most servers will take the menus. No problem.
Food finally came — the food was hot. I’m sipping the same half-​full soda, menus still on the table. I eat, soda gone. No waitress in sight. Finished my food, without a refill. Had to yell — Excuse me as she left another table, in order to get my check.
Gave her my check card, she came back & put the card & receipt on the table. I was going to leave a tip & a comment on the receipt. I looked — she didn’t give me a pen. How was I supposed to write in the tip? Sigh. I guess she didn’t want one.
I wasn’t on my 10 hour break, so I just grabbed my shower bag & left. I had better service at the Golden Corral in Alabama. Just terrible. Very disappointed.

Worst places to eat in was here for over 2 hours it took forever for the waitress to take our order and then our food took forever to come out and was ice cold and she would take it back to heat up or get a new meal my boyfriend and I were the only ones eating I really don’t understand why everything took so long and that our food came out cold and this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten cold food from here so disappointed.

Wow, I thought I’d already reviewed this Denny’s. We’ve been in a few times, a couple of years back, mostly for Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners, but also other times, and were always very happy with the taste, the amount, the prices and the service. The dining room is the largest I’ve ever seen at a Denny’s and it’s very attractive in kind of a ranch-​style décor. They have an open ceiling with wood beams and used lots of wood in the decorating. It’s a bit of a drive for us, and we have a more-​favorite place that’s closer to home, but that’s not anything against this Denny’s. Try it; you won’t be disappointed.

I can b a lil h8r all day but, I don’t really hav any legit complaints bout this place. Tha food wuz good, tha service wuz good & tha w8tress lookd good: D

Better then you’d expect for a truck stop. Food has been good the few times I went with friends. Nice that its open ²⁴⁄₇. The staff is nice and the interior is again better then you’d expect for a truck stop. So over all don’t feel any less when dining at this location.

This Denny’s is at the Flying J Travel Plaza in Carneys Point. I have to admit I had preconceived notions about this restaurant because it is at a truck stop, so I didn’t go there until long after it had opened for business. I’m happy to say that I was completely wrong. For a Denny’s, the interior is remarkably spacious and comfortable. I thought service was good too and as a bonus, they have free wi-​fi internet. Food is, well, Denny’s — average diner-​style offerings. However, that may well be perfectly acceptable when you’re on a long road trip.
