AMAZING24 diner. The outside looks like shit but the waitress are so friendly and personable and the portions are phenomenal, at least with my order they were. I got the broiled crab cakes and they were HUGE. They last gave me a to go box and I was like«oh no, I’m definitely finishing this amazing meal» the starter salad was also a hue portion and simple but delicious. The meal came with the two(VERY) crab filled crab cakes, two sides of your choice, a soup or salad, AND a dessert(which wasn’t even said on the menu!!) I’m definitely coming back here. 100%

Service was good and the staff was very friendly which is the only reason it got 1 star. The food was terrible!!! Why it has 4 stars? I have no idea. Maybe it was time of day not really sure, but super disappointed.

This is the way I imagine a diner would be – friendly waitresses, good & cheap food, homemade desserts, lots of food for the money. Close enough to 95 that you could easily hop off & get back on. After dinner, the waitress surprised us with dessert, said that it was included. Wow!

We drove across the bridge from Wilmington to check this place out. Really good dinner with super friendly service. Definitely worth the trip.

It was open very early which is what brought us here. They offered unbelievable specials that were a great buy and freshly cooked. A very good diner.

Went for lunch. Had breakfast. Everything was done right. Service was great! I would come back. I asked for home fries with onions and they were great! Scrapple was deep fried, very crispy, and hot.

Deepwater Diner, The area’s only open 24 hour Diner has been remodeled. Along with their remodeling, they have improved the quality of their meal! They have also improved their wait staff. Their staff has changed and the wait staff is Warm, Friendly, and Courteous no matter what time you’re there. I was shocked by the quality of their Home Made Crab Cakes! I strongly suggest them! To sum up, if you want a good hot meal at any time of day, be sure to check out the newly remodeled Deepwater Diner!

I love classic old diners and that’s exactly what the Deepwater Diner is. We were searching for a place to eat dinner after the Cowtown Rodeo and nothing was open past 9:00 on a Saturday night. Question: How do you know you’re not in North Jersey anymore? Answer: Restaurants close at 8:00 on a Saturday night. The Deepwater staff was extremely friendly and the food was a typical diner food extravaganza. I had the grilled cheese, my husband had the burger and our friend had the chicken strips. All were cooked perfectly and were piping hot. What else can you ask for in a 24-hour diner right off the Turnpike and across the street from some giant gas company plant? It even looks pretty when the neon’s all lit up at night.

Cream chipped beef. Grilled cheese. Turkey sandwich. It’s a diner, people. And a pretty cute one, at that. The Deepwater Diner feels like South Jersey to me. A little dirty, always depressing, but always there. Reliable. Sure, sometimes it makes you sick and you vow to never return, but you can;t stay mad at it. You love it like family. Because, well, it is. Perfect spot for quick, cheap, better-that-Wawa-or-fast-food eats.
