Delivery was quick and correct order wise. There was a problem with the payment — I paid electronically through Unilocal/EatStreet but the delivery driver’s app was saying I needed to pay in cash. She went out of her way to fix things for me, even coming back to refund the cash payment I had given her and providing me with coupons for my next order. I was very impressed with her customer service. The actual wings were good. I ordered the parmesan garlic dry rub and the buffalo. As with most wing deliveries, I was worried the wet sauce wings would be a bit soggy. They were but just a bit. I also requested all flat wings which I did not get. I think this may be an issue with Unilocal/EatStreet’s service though, not the restaurant’s fault. Next time I will order directly through their business website or over the phone.

I love Wings over Chapel Hill. Besides pizza, Wings is one of the only food locations that delivers to houses. I personally haven’t dined in at Wings, but the food that is delivered always is hot and delicious. I personally like the garlic parmesan, sweet bbq, and citrus chipotle. I’ve heard from a lot of my friends that all the flavors taste somewhat similar and to be frank, they do. That’s something maybe that Wings can work on. Their fries and onion rings are nothing beyond what is normally expected. The deliveries are always on time(30 – 40 minutes after order is taken), and all the deliverers are friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you want some wings without having to go anywhere!

Primarily, I order delivery of the Parmesan Garlic boneless chicken. I think it’s super delicious, usually quite hot and tender and the«breading» of the Parm and garlic are perfect to my tastes. Add in fries and onions rings and a soda and you’re got a prime comfort meal. So many of these negative reviews are based on dine-in — and I can’t refute or add to those — but I can tell you that their delivery is super quick, super friendly and it almost always comes out of the bag steaming hot and fresh.

I can see how the rating is so low as I am currently waiting in the parking lot for my food and were legit leaning on an hour for a to go order.

fucking horrible service, ordered online then called an HOURAND A HALF later only for the idiotic call service person tell me that they never«received» my order. I ordered it from THEIR website, they need to either fix the problem or don’t make it an option. Honestly, I’m never going to order from them again, no offer to send me my food or even ask what my order was so they could start making it. Do not, I repeat do not eat at wings over.

Ordered again, great as always. Their wait times are always so much faster than projected… even for delivery!!!

When ordering wings you don’t know which sauces are dry rubs or actual sauces. The precedence of heat with their names of the hot sauces. Their parmesan garlic is just a bunch of combined spices thrown on the chicken. Not really a sauce or doesn’t stick to chicken breading. Not a fan of wings over chapel hill.

Unbelievably pricey. «Free delivery» for wings that are almost $ 13/pound. Add a tip to your order and your food is crazy expensive for a wing joint. That being said, their boneless wings are REALLY good. Buffalo sauces are awesome, along with their Kickin BBQ or dry rub. If you do order, try to do take out. Don’t bother with anything except the wings, and get them boneless.

This isn’t the best place for wings in town, I prefer Hickory Tavern. But it is entirely different, a tiny store only for take-out and delivery. The delivery service is generally fast and take-out estimates are also on point. Some say the price is too high but I typically get an order of waffle fries with 1 lb of boneless wings and a drink for $ 15. This is a good deal since a pound of boneless wings should last 2 meals for normal humans. As far as normal wings, I have no idea how they taste. I only get boneless because I stay away from take-out boned wings. I like them crispy and I doubt they’ll be crispy after sitting in a foam container for 15 minutes. The boneless are solid, not spectacular, and their hot sauces are extremely hot if you like that style. Waffle fries always good.

Torn between a 3 – 4 rating here. Tried 5 flavors and most were pretty good. Sweet Chili and West Texas Mesquite were the best. Red Alert a bit weak, but that just means I need to step it up a level next time. Garlic Parmesan and Mustang Ranch not impressive. Didn’t try anything else but would go back. $ 21 for 25 wings is about average.

I order Wings pretty regularly and the food is good. The fries are my favorite. Unfortunately, 3 times I’ve ordered a 2L of Diet Coke with my meal and was given regular Coke. On the one time I didn’t feel bad about speaking up about it they issued a replacement but it took 40 minutes to get here and my food was already cold. And then I felt bad and that I should tip the 2nd driver with the replacement bottle. Besides some order discrepancies, I really enjoy Wings.

It’s really good. Just seriously pricey for wings. My meal seriously averaged 1 $/wing… I could buy a great steak for the price of wings.

So I had this for the very first time and thought of reviewing this since I have got nothing else to do. I love anything that is fried chicken so I had to taste this. For my first time, it wasn’t that bad. I had it delivered and it was on time which was great. Honestly, this food is one of those food I would eat late at night trying to sober up or one of those food I would eat with a beer. I had the garlic parmesan, which could do more parmesan, but it’s okay I still thought it was good. I would definitely recommend it though or at least give it a try.

I get delivery from here all the time. The fact that they deliver really makes this place great. I think the wings are great. The right amount of crispy and all of the BBQ flavors are amazing. My favorite are Sweet Onion BBQ, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet Chile. The only drawback of this place are that sometimes the wings a little soggy once they get to you and a lot of times its hard to tell which wings are which.

I’ve never eaten in here, but who needs to eat in at a wings joint(do people still use the word joint or…) when you are a pescetarian and lazy/starving/bumming etc at 12AM and need a greasy carton of hot yummy onion rings delivered to your door, like, immediately?

Wings Over Chapel Hill serves mostly wings but does have ribs, salads & hamburger and chicken sandwiches on the menu. You can chose from about 15 different sauces and some of the sauces are actually dry rubs. The wings themselves are large and meaty. The staff here are friendly, but busy when the phone calls come in. Wings over Chapel Hill will deliver. This location does not have any tables inside or outside. The carrying container does not retain heat well. Food B Staff B Décor C Location B Health Inspection Grade 95.0

Chickens don’t have arms, so there must be a «wings race» over in Carrboro. Across the street from Wings you have Ba-Da-Wings!(Exclamation point mine.) Let me give you a quick rundown. Wings delivers. Ba Da Wings does not. Wings closes at like 1am. Ba Da Wings closes at 2am. Wings looks like just a quick place to take out wings. Ba Da Wings has a bar and tables and televisions. Wings has those weird boneless wings. So does Ba Da. Wings’ spiciest flavor isn’t initially that spicy, but in your mouth’s retrospect it’s pretty hot. Same with Ba Da. Gosh it’s really a tie. Delivery versus open late. Maybe Ba Da edges Wings out with the booze. It depends on your situation.

Most of my narratives will begin this way… but, here goes: It was 11:40 p. m and my boyfriend and I were starving. We didn’t really want pizza, and other local options were closing at this time. Through some serendipitous twist, we remembered Wings Over Chapel Hill stays open pretty late and delivers. I ordered our wings and fries through their website and expected to receive a call that they were closing or weren’t delivering for the rest of the night(this has happened to us before with other restaurants). 15 minutes later, the delivery guy was at our door. Wings.Over.never.disappoints. About the wings: The wings and waffle fries were well-seasoned, hot, and absolutely delish. I have no complaints. I love my wings crispy and drenched in sauce, and Wings Over does this well. I’m sure you’ve heard about the size of the wings, and this holds true. A lot of food for a great price. The speedy delivery(at that time of night) was the icing on the cake. P. S.–my favorite sauces are Texas Mesquite, Honey BBQ, Kickin’ BBQ, and Cruisin’ Altitude, if you’re looking for suggestions to try. Very flavorful – they have options for lovers of tangy, sweet, and spicy wings alike.

5 Citrus Chipotle wings(non-spicy) + 5 Red Alert wings(equivalent of Medium) + Celery & Blue Cheese + Sweet Potato Fries & Honey Mustard dip + can of Diet Coke = $ 12 pre-tip * Wings: Super tasty with just the right amount of crisp to them. A little too saucy on the Citrus Chipotle but whatever, I’d choose that any day over too little sauce. Also, these wings are slightly larger/meatier than usual as I can usually eat 8 – 10, but only made it to 7.35 on these. * Sweet Potato Fries: Limp(which I happen to like), probably from steaming itself in the box, but not greasy. The portion is HUUUGE. * Open until 1am Sun-Wed, 2:30am on Thurs, and 3am on Fri & Sat * Only 25 min for a 3.5mi delivery on a Friday night?!(I’m saying that in a good way.)
