This deli inside the Raley’s market is a nice surprise to come across. The sandwiches here are some of the best for a decent price. They make all the normal kinds of sandwiches, roast beef, turkey or tuna as well as some great specials, like the Tri Tip hot BBQ sandwich. All the sandwiches are priced at $ 5.99 and include almost any condiments you can think of. One thing here to consider is every sandwich is made to order, so if you have a person in front of you with 6 sandwiches to be made, you may have to wait awhile, as there’s usually only one person or maybe 2 people there to make sandwiches. Best bet is to call it in advanced and it’s ready for you to pick up right when you get there. Call the store with option #2 for the deli. I went for the hot BBQ tri-tip sandwich on a french roll. It’s a nice meat filled sandwich that makes a nice fast lunch. There’s even a little dining area for you to use if you don’t want to eat in the car. A soda fountain and chips are available as well. Check out the pics of this nice sandwich and you can prpbably get this when you come in here if you want!

The best grocery store in town. Oh sure, you have Costco’s and the crowds over at Trader Joe’s, but seriously, this is the grocery store you should go to if you need every day stuff. Not cheaper than Wal-mart’s grocery side, but the quality of goods are certainly higher. The fruits and produce in general are very good. Also not a bad option if you want to get something quick to go, like coffee and sandwiches.

I hope this 5 star review continues to promote Raleys in Carson City to keep up the great job at more organic and healthful products. Being away from Whole foods after moving from Reno was really hard at first. But now I find Raleys has really been doing a fantastic job at organic and less chemical products. Also I’d like to mention their great and growing selection of quality vitamins and such and body care products. I really appreciate all of these efforts. It literally changes my life for the better here in Carson City. Looking forward to a better and better Raleys. I’m becoming your biggest fan!

The bakery team produced(200) cupcakes and(4) cakes for the 2016 Senior Celebration event at the Carson City Community Center last Thursday May 19th. The quality of the baked goods was excellent, and delicious! Please seek out Kathleen and her amazing bakers for any special event or even a special treat to take home to your family! As a final touch of excellence, the team packaged up and helped me load all of the«goods»! Excellent job team! Mike at Skyline Estates Senior Living

I have noticed a lot of things about this Raley’s lately that makes me want to shop elsewhere. But what really botheres me the most was how the employees act to not only customers but to venders and each other=Very Rude and sometimes Hostile. This past week some lady pushing a cart around hanging tags started yelling at at another employee right in front of me and all the other customers. She kept argueing about having to hang tags. Looking at her cart I would venture that is supposed to be her job at this place. Then when I walked past the doors of the back room there was another lady in the back yelling at the poor delivery guy about not having his paperwork. I have seen some employee throwing a fit at somebody almost everytime I go into this store. Two weeks ago I stopped by on the way to school with my 4 year old to grab a doughnut and there was some grouchy old man in the morning swearing up and down and shoving cardboard boxes around. Excuse Me-Ladies and Children Present! Another time an old cashier with the world’s most annoying voice actually screamed at another at the top of her lungs because she couldn’t answer the phone. Quite frankly it is very off putting especially to elderly people or moms with small kids in tow. When I looked at all the others working there, most of them had scowls on their faces or were complaining to each other. Every interaction I personally had with anybody working there was, to say the least, Snotty. The few nice workers were either younger or cleaners of the store. But I think the rest of them should look for another line of business if they can’t handle Customer Service with a Smile because people certainly don’t need to be paying higher than average prices while shopping in a war zone of hostility and ugly. I know the meat is good quality but They all must be the most unhappy souls on the planet to be acting like that all the time and they really need to work on their people skills.

Raleys is the only place in Carson City that i can find any good meat substitutes and I really the only place that has an excellent source of vegan and vegetarian options. The prices are a little bit higher here, but that is probably because they don’t sacrifice good quality food and customer service just to save a buck. Great deli selections too, try the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich, its soooo yummy. Normally i wouldn’t Unilocal about a grocery store but I just wanted to let other vegetarians know about the good selection here.

Hmm. Maybe I just keep catching great sales, but it seems like at least with their sale prices, they’re trying to be competitive now with the pricing of other middle-of-the-pack markets. Visit this one on Mondays if you can, pretty good $ 5 sales throughout the store, like a pound of chicken strips or meatloaf. Also it’s one of the very few stores in Nevada that I’ve found Brown Cow yogurt at. Their cream top poops on all other yogurts from a considerable height. Only place on Earth I still get carded buying beer though ;p

I stopped here bc it was the first grocery store I saw driving in to town and we needed supplies. And by supplies, I mean vodka. I’ll tell you what though, this store was really lovely to walk around, if that can be a thing. The produce was full of color and beautifully laid out. Everything was so umm, well stocked and organized. It was an OCDer’s wet dream.

I love Raley’s. This is without a doubt, my favorite grocery chain. This was actually the first Raley’s I ever shopped in after moving to Nevada, but it is not my regular store. I guess I got hooked that first time I came in. The thing I like best about Raley’s is the high quality of customer service. This is one of the few stores I have had someone offer to take my groceries out to my car for me. Staff are out and about and seem to be tuned in when you are looking for something. All the staff seem to know where all the items are. The checkout people are efficient and courteous. The items stocked at Raley’s are good quality. The meat is excellent. This store also has a nice sized wine selection. This is an older store and looks a little dark and is perhaps in need of an update. This is a minor quibble as the store is clean and no off odors of over ripe vegetables. When I am in Carson City, this is my go-to spot.

When Gayle and I come to Genoa to visit her Mom, there’s usually enough food in the refrigerator to accommodate our relatively modest culinary needs. And this time over the 4th of July Weekend, there was plenty of food downtown as part of the Genoa Americana celebration. Yet Saturday morning revealed the need for a few supplementary items, and as part of our associated errands run throughout greater Carson City, we ended up at Raley’s. This is a nice store, of which we found what we needed quickly and with a friendly smile in both the aisles and the checkout counter. There are of course other options in these parts(e.g., Trader Joe’s, Grocery Outlet, Save Mart, etc), and this Raley’s will be near the top of our list for future grocery runs.

Bill ROCKS!!! This guy went OUT of his way to help me! I cannot say enough about how awsome Bill is! Sent a letter to Raleys Corporate Office and I hope they give this guy SOME kind of bonus or at the very least they should acknowledge his actions!!! As always I will keep you all updated! Thanks Bill so very much!

My favorite place to buy groceries. The staff are always courteous. Produce is so much better than other stores. They have good sales on steak occasionally. I don’t have to walk half a mile from one end of the store to the other. Yes, the prices are a little higher but it’s worth it for me.

Dear Raley’s checkout clerk, I don’t come to your store to hear you espouse political philosophy. Regardless of what side of the aisle you fall on, those in customer service should never ever spew their beliefs at customers. You never know when someone(like me) won’t agree with them. I didn’t complain – I don’t want anyone to lose their job – but it was grossly inappropriate.

Raley’s is my grocery store of choice. I recognize the people that work there and they probably recognize me. They have a good produce section and stuff looks pretty fresh. Lots of variety. Sometimes they run out of things like cole slaw, which should never happen. But, I figure, Id rather have them run out then stock too much and end up throwing it away or– worse– trying to sell it. I find what I’m looking for at Raley’s about 99.5% of the time. Rarely do I have to go anywhere else. The cost is higher than places like Wal-Mart, which is good. I don’t want to shop along side the kind of people that shop at Wal-Mart. You know, poor people. I believe the quality of the food is better at Raleys. I do not like– and will never use– the«self checkout.» The reason I shop here and not Wal-Mart(besides the poor people) is I want service, and that includes someone ringing up my purchases and bagging them while I play a game on my phone. Then I want to be asked by some 75 pound school girl if I «need help» getting groceries out to my car, and watching the relief flood her face when I say«no thanks.» I’ve also made a computerized database grocery list where I can enter all the stuff I want and it will spit out a list aisle by aisle. Very handy for a quick shopping blitz. That’s another reason I shop here and not somewhere else– I don’t know where all their stuff is.
