Love this Starbucks. Been coming here for 3 years, and of course it’s your average Starbucks. Whadya expect people? You want a conga line, party horns and a sparkler with your drink?! Get real. You get coffee here, end of story… For a year there, they had two real crappy servers that I had to write corporate about. They’re both gone, thank goodness. But Robin is an amazing barista, love her, and the guys here are awesome. For a while there, it was getting a little weird that only a guy or two worked there, but since then it’s about 50⁄50 and refreshing. Thank you for that. The food here is great regardless of it was toasted or microwaved. If you want a gourmet breakfast, then get your butt to a RESTAURANT, not a coffee joint. I enjoy the double smoked bacon egg biscuit and the butter croissant warmed up with my grande caramel frap or tall mocha hot. YUM! Overall, your typical Starbucks with wonderful staff.

Just your average starbucks. Nothing special about this place. I ordered a breakfast sandwich two days in a row and both days the sandwich was microwaved way too long.

Worst starbucks ever. me and a friend drive to carson every week to go shopping and always stop at this starbucks. After 10+ horrible visists, and i mean extremely rude to us and have always messed up the drinks. We dont come here anymore. Only one time was everything right, the district manager was visiting. Which makes it even worse, because they can do it right, they just choose not to.

I needed some breakfast to go so I ordered oatmeal and it was really soupy. I even let it sit for a while hoping to absorb some liquid. It was lukewarm and still soupy. I also got a tall latte and when I picked it up it was so light. I opened the lid and it was barely 2⁄3 full. Definitely not the best experience.

I haven’t reviewed this one?!? In or at near Tahoe, this is one of my favorite Starbucks. Okay, it has to be my favorite one because I’m not too much of a fan of the others nearby. This one is conveniently located near US50 and 395. It’s right by Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Cost Co, etc. Next door is a Panda and they have a drive through window. What is not to like? Very few draw backs exist to this Starbucks. On a cold wintry day, it’s a nice place to relax and have a hot beverage. During a snow storm, or lightning storm you can watch some pretty spectacular weather sitting here as there is glass on two sides — it occupies a corner and it faces towards the mountains of Tahoe. The problem? The doors. With the doors they have, and if you are near them you will get cold and have wind blow in. It’s a distraction and annoying and can get freaking cold in the Carson valley. Overall, it’s a solid Starbucks with some nice plusses to it(location, location, location!) but those doors…

This Starbucks is small and even a modest line for coffee makes this place seem crowded. Then when you add the sometimes freeloading laptop crowd, the nearby coffee shop at Borders starts to look a whole lot better in terms of room and relaxation. However, this place is a port in a snow storm, and in this part of Carson City, there’s not a heck of lot of choice anyway. On the other hand, the folks who work here are helpful and friendly, and they do carry the New York Times.

(This is the Starbuck’s near Borders Books, Cost Plus Imports, Bed /Bath /Beyond, In-N-Out, Pier 1, etc.) This is just a regular ol’ Starbucks; the products are good, the people that work here are fine, but there’s one HUGE problem: IT’S TOODAMNCOLDINTHISSTARBUCKS. It was an August evening, so the temperature outside was, maybe, 75 or even 80 degrees F, but the store was UNbearable! No exaggeration: the store was probably 60 degrees. Other customers came in and noticed the same problem. We mentioned this to the employees, and they told us that they were aware of this issue, but someone(the manager?) told them to set the thermostat at 68 F, which made the customers’ area in the store RIDICULOUSLYCOLD. The employees further told me that they always wear long sleeves and/or sweatshirts — in the SUMMER — because the store is so cold. SHAME on you, local Starbuck’s manager person! You’re WASTING energy like crazy, AND you’re driving away customers.
