This Panda Express always has good food however if you get teriyaki chicken you need to wait for a while no matter what time you get there. The place is always dirty the floor and tables always have stuff on them. The girl workers really need to make sure there hair is fully inside their hats but other then that it is really good.

I had to update my review due to my last experience here. This time I tried to buy the food around 4.30 pm to see if their food was still fresh. Too bad so sad, it was damn cold. Fried rice was tasteless. I ordered chow mein with 3 entrees(Beijing beef, orange chicken and sweet fire chicken breast) & I used a survey coupon for one free entrée. And ordered a small box of fried rice for extra. But after I paid, I checked that they charged me for the sweet fire chicken breast. After I got home, I discovered that they completely screwed my order. Charged me for things that they didn’t give me. I just realized that in my white box, it was only chow mein and 2 entrees(Beijing beef & orange chicken) and 2 small box of fried rice & sweet fire chicken. On the receipt described for chow mein, fried rice, Beijing beef & orange chicken(so there were 3 entrees) & A small extra fried rice & small extra sweet fire chicken breast $ 3.70. So in the white box missing the fried rice(that I didn’t order but they put as another entrée beside the Beijing beef & orange chicken) One item that supposed to be for my free entrée sweet fire chicken breast they charged me instead to put it as a free entrée. The cashier named Ashley was very unpleasant, instead listen carefully what I tried to explain, she told me the order that I paid was right amount & she told me the entrée can’t be order for small box size which was wrong! I was pretty upset because the poor service from the cashier & the server. So next time if you order to go, you better make sure that the teenager employees filling your order is getting it right.

I wouldn’t normally review fast food because chain restaurants are hard to give an unbiased opinion without it being related to the company as a whole. I just would like to specifically mention one employee in particular. His name is Jorge. He is the older man that cooks the food. There is a younger boy that works with him, and I’m not sure of his name, but they both provide the most excellent service to everyone. Every single time I walk in thy are both smiling so wide, and they are eager to help everyone despite the fact that dishing food might not be their job description. I am always left feeling welcomed and happy when they are working. I wish I could find another way to get the company to recognize them for their outstanding service! Honestly! The food is Panda Express. So there’s that. But the employees are just so wonderful!!!

Wow, I see the overall star rating for this Panda is not so good! I might have been one of those people that might rate Panda Express bad, but that was before I tasted the new Chinese Ribs brought out by Panda Express a few months ago. I’ve been to Panda Express 2 times at other locations and had the ribs and was quite pleased with the product. I’m here in Carson City, NV. and a couple of friend wanted to give them a try as it came up in conversation the other day. I just happen to have a receipt from my last visit to one in Reno over a month ago, and if you fill out the online survey, you get a free entrée with a 2 entrée combo plate. Hey, free entrée? Why not? So, off we go to the Carson Panda Express. This location is in the big shopping center to the south of Carson, right next door to the Starbucks when you go in the main entry by the traffic light. Parking is easy. I called the store before we set off to let them know we had 3 people all wanting lots of ribs, so cook up a fresh batch! That may sound like a bit much, calling a Panda Express just to get them to cook up some food for you, but I’m tellin’ ya, that really makes a difference in the quality of the food you get. Maybe it shouldn’t, but it does at Panda. One of my friends had tried the ribs at the North Reno store and it was not so good he said, like it was burned or something. So the quality of what you get does seem to vary, depending on the location and how long the ribs have been sitting out and whose doing the cooking. The lady on the phone said they’ll get a fresh batch going. When we get there we go in and I see some ribs in the tray, hmmm looks kind dried out and not so good. The lady behind the counter sees me looking and says, new ribs coming! See?, depending on how long the food has been sitting out, one might get some lousy ribs here! A fresh batch arrives from the wok! I get 3 orders of ribs, 2 for the combo plate and my 1 free order, plus fried rice. My friends get 2X orders of ribs each. We cleaned out the whole tray of new ribs! Each order includes 5 rib pieces and there is a $ 1.25 up charge each rib order, as they are rated as a premium entrée, like the walnut prawns. Me? 15 pieces of ribs? No way I’m eating all that, but that’s what a to go box is for! We all sit at a high top table with our mess of ribs. Get lots of napkins! We’re all happily munching at our ribs. My friends really like them a lot. The one friend that had lousy ribs in Reno said these were much better. Fresh cooked! That’s the ticket! We all get through 10 pieces each or so. The fried rice and chow mein are ehh, but it’s Panda Express, so that’s what you get, not like a good Chinese restaurant with skilled Chinese chefs … there were no Asian chefs here. The ribs were very tender and were no trouble to eat. Lots of sauce though, decent flavor. I do like these every once in awhile. The price is not outrageous, about what you might pay as an appetizer in a Chinese restaurant. $ 8.30 for the 2 entrée combo plate. I do hope Panda keep these ribs on the menu past the end of July trial period. Check the ribs out if you are a fan of ribs, just make sure you get a fresh batch. I posted pics of our visit.

Wow bad service, bad attitudes, eye rolling and no greetings when we walked in. Asked a few questions to the servers and there was no eye contact. Maria is the main one with the bad attitude. Should’ve went to in an out.

Food was good service was fast. Trick is to come when the food haven’t been sitting out too long. So come at main eating times. Noon so on. Been here a few times now. They are not good at keeping up with the dinning room. You end up sitting at a dirty table. They don’t wipe tables down after each person. They must run a tight ship or they just don’t care. I think it is the latter!

Beware of the bad, and unsafe food practices at Panda Express. Have you ever observed the people putting new hot food in a tray of old food here at Panda express. Or other places? I have. In fact it is illegal. Food can only be stored at certain Temperatures for a minimum about of time. So when that time sensitive foods have reached it’s safety limit it must be removed, and discarded. I have observed Panda Express mix newly cooked food with existing food in the trays, that means that the old food can potentially contaminated the new food if it has been in the tray past the«Temperature Control for Food Safety,(TCS). They longer food sets the greater chance for pathogens to grow. This is why so many people get ill from eating at restaurants. Beside the food is over priced and the service is unresponsive. When I pointed out the potential hazards the staff was subjecting the customers to, some of the customers got mad at me, and the staff just keep mixing new food with old food. Eating at Panda Express could potentially make you sick, or possibly kill you if your in the susceptible risk category, pregnant, elderly, chronic illness, and children. If your young and dumb have at it, but don’t put your children and elderly at greater risk of food borne illness by taking them to Panda Express!

By far the cleanest PE I’ve ever been to. The staff is super nice and the food is almost always hot and fresh.

This is ok for fast food, better than the other fast food options around it with the exception of one or two places. And there are no really good Chinese food restaurants in Gardnerville. My kids like it here and I don’t mind stopping by every now and then. Yesterday, my food was bad which was the first time I can really complain. You know what your getting when you come to a place like this. If your expecting it to be amazing Chinese food I would wonder if you’re also expecting Burger King’s Angus to taste like real steak. The place is always clean, the staff is friendly and a number of times they have made something fresh for me upon request.

Lots of bad reviews. But thinkin about it I guess the food just tastes better because it’s discounted every time I go there. And the bottled izzy drinks are good combo with that food.

$ 8.25 for steamed rice, walnut shrimp, med. drink. Are you kidding me! I won’t be back. Plus the rice wasn’t fully cooked and difficult to crunch. Also, they’re missing a lot of business by not having a drive through. At this location, they could share one with starbucks. I rarely go there because I don’t want to unload 3 toddlers and take them in to get what would otherwise be a «quick» bite. Now, I won’t be back because of the high price and low quality. The one positive thing I could say is that the shrimp was pretty good.

With the wide variety of available Chinese restaurants(and fast take out), why would anyone even set foot in a Panda Express? My one and only reason last Friday night was that my son was hungry and irritable and that’s what he wanted. Shalom Bayit. I was hungry too, but nothing that Panda Express offered(even my usual favourite — Kung Pao Chicken) looked interesting enough to order. Plus, we were near closing time and everything looked overcooked and under loved. My son ordered orange chicken(that was more breading than anything) and chow mien that was light on the vegetables and heavy on the oil. On the positive side, my son temporarily returned to his happy self and it only cost $ 6(plus gas) for the effort. Priceless.

Orange chicken was dry & pasty — as if it had been sitting for some time.(This was probably because it HAD been sitting for some time.) Chow Mein was very light on vegetables and pretty greasy /oily. Kung Pao Chicken was loaded with peppers and celery — not enough chicken and peanuts — but the flavor was very good. Overall flavors were good, but the(sweet and sour?) sauce for the egg rolls was very lemony. None of the food was very hot. Portions size ranged from a little small to a little too much. Place was clean, and employees were pleasant. Prices are low: two 2-entrée dinners + 1 medium iced tea(free refills) + tax = $ 14.03
