This McDonald’s is always a little dirty and I am sure that it is partially due to the fact that it is inside a Walmart. Usually I just buy soda’s here and that is mostly because I don’t eat poultry, beef or pork. All around it’s a good location, and I love that it’s right at the entrance of Walmart. I can get my soda and drink it while I shop and then get a refill right before I leave!

When I retire, Gayle and I might move up to Genoa and live in one of the family homes. And maybe I’ll trade in my designer work clothes, for a green or blue smock and work as a Wal-Mart greeter. Kmart is also a possibility, as I’ve often been intrigued about shouting things out like «Attention K Mart Shoppers!» or «There’s a Blue Light Special on Aisle 8!»
This McDonalds is a small outpost in the front (grocery side) of the Carson City Walmart. My son and I were in this morning to sample the dollar menu, and compete with future fellow retirees for table space and gossip rights. The service was also as slow and grumpy as the clientele.
If this is my future, I need to figure out a way to alter the space-time continuum…
