Scott the cashier was great. They made the order reasonably quickly. They forgot the mustard replacement for their sauce. One order of French fries was tepid. The other was hot. The dining area was 62°.(I sat by the thermostat.) People were shivering. I went outside to warm up.

I’ve been wanting to try In-N-Out for ages. I only had one other opportunity when I was in Phoenix, and it was too far to get to without a car. So when I saw that there was one in Carson City, the die was cast. Was this going to be the life-changing experience that so many people make it out to be? I guess I set my expectations too high with all the hoopla that surrounds this chain. I made sure to get the animal fries and the requisite double double with grilled onions, and looked around at everyone getting selfies with their paper hats on with their food, and buying t-shirts. So did it change my life? Nope. It was a good, solid burger. I really like that they pick through the fries after frying and get rid of the clunkers — I wish all chains would do that. The animal fries were good, but the«extra stuff» mostly stayed on top and I had to mix it around a bit. They were good fries, but other chains have better. And the burger? It was good, but nothing life-changing. I like several burger places at home much better, and I even think that 5 Guys has better burgers. It was a good burger, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get them, and I would set my expectations accordingly.

The service here was wonderful, even through the drive through. I love the burgers and the shakes are always delicious! For a quick bite or a burger, I would pick this restaurant over McDonald’s any day.

In n out is just about the best burger joint around town. Their burgers are freshly made and french fries are freshly cut right there in front of you. The people are all nice and welcoming. And the prices are fairly cheap. I would recommend In n out to anyone that wants a freshly cooked burger and fries for a fair price.

Yeah, we all know In N Out burgers. Some love em some don’t get it. I get it and love this location, although if a Habit Burgers from CA came to Carson, I’d be outta here and over there! But not much chance of that happening. I see Five Guys’s is right here in the same shopping center. For me there is no choice, considering the sky high prices for what you get over there. I travel a lot between Oakland and Carson/Reno, and I’ll tell you this In N Out is waaaay better then the one in Oakland! The cashiers are super well trained, although robotic, they’re super efficient that way. My orders are not ever messed up, I get a big pile of hot fries, no short stacks like in Oakland. Plus, the neighborhood here is so friendly, no hostile vibes from the local populous in Carson! Double Double Animal Style and an order of fries, that’s my regular order! Me? I just don’t get people that don’t get the pleasure of that first bite into that beautiful double double, what with that mix of cheese meat and lettuce, tomato and bun all melding into a symphony of tastiness in your mouth, what’s not to like? Tip go inside and order, faster than staying in your car burning fuel waiting in line.

When we got to Carson City, we were very Hungary so we stopped at the In an out burgers. The double double burgers were very good We sure will stop again when we come through Carson again. The service was quick. And the waiters were friendly and with smiles. Makes you feel welcome.

Burgers are usually pretty good! But sometimes they don’t even taste cooked along with the fries. But when they’re done right they taste amazing.

I’ll go ahead and say what the majority of these reviews probably say: If you haven’t had the fortune of trying a burger from here, DOIT. You will not regret this life choice sir/madam. In-N-Out will always be the easiest burger choice I’ve ever made. My suggestion: Double Double, both types of onions. Animal style fries. Cola. Get chili peppers if you like spicy. Enjoy.

Got family in town from New Jersey and every single time they request at least one meal at the Char Pit in Kings Beach and at least one at an In and Out. I come along and order a milkshake and watch them as they rave over the burgers and fries and how«SOWESTCOAST» it is to eat here. It is kinda funny, I cannot lie. They buy t-shirts and stickers and then plan how they will come back in two years time. I guess they really love it and that makes it worthwhile for me. Also, who do I have to kill to buy get one of those giant safety pins?

What’s up with handing out random paper? I get your fried are fresh but does everyone need to get a tray liner sized flyer? Save a tree. Post a sign. It scares me to think of the amount of waste when every«In n Out» I go by has a long line… please stop this practice. Service and food was otherwise good. I enjoy the double double w/grilled onions

So incredibly worth the hype… even if you think the food is bad, the price is so incredible, how can you ever complain? I was worried In-N-Out would disappoint, but it didn’t at all. It met all my expectations. SOGOOD. Animal style fries, a regular order of fries, two cheeseburgers, and a 2×1 Animal style was a mere $ 16. My 2×1 Animal style was just about a religious experience… the mustard in the patty is immediately apparent before some grilled onion bitterness and creamy, delicious secret spread come through. Fresh produce is also obviously a plus. The Animal Style fries were also super good and an insanely good value — the onions and secret sauce go so well together with the fries and cheese that I could never see myself ordering the regular fries. The regular fries are still tasty, but no comparison to the Animal Style ones. I could just about live off of In-N-Out, I think. There’s a place near me called Achatz Burgers that’s similar and that I enjoy a little more than In-N-Out, but it’s also way more expensive. If you live near an In-N-Out, I’m envious of you… the value is incredible, and the food is too. Even the workers are friendly here… one was talking to me in the bathroom. Thankfully, not while I was urinating — that’s a big guy’s room no-no. TL;DR: Deeeelicious, quality fast food burgers.

Stopped by here driving through Carson on my way back to Reno. Food Didn’t have time to sit down for a meal so I opted for the drive thru. The line was about 10 cars deep but the kid standing outside taking my order said it would take only 15 — 20 mins to get my order. And I’d say he was about right. 15 mins later I was enjoying my Double Double Animal style with chopped up chili’s and a boat of fries to go with it. Just the way I like it. Service Service was fast and friendly. They did almost mess up at the very end though. When I received my order they tried to give me a large diet coke as well. Something you’ll never see me order. That’s when the employee noticed he had given me the wrong order. But once that was sorted out things ended well. Got my order and I was back on the road again. Burger was delicious and fries were tasty. Recommendation Would recommend this place to anymore looking for good eats at a very nice price.
