I had been wanting to try one of these reflexology joints for a while now, and I just happened to see a «Happy Hour» special sign hanging outside of Carson Foot Reflexology. It was my lunch break and I thought I would treat my toes to the $ 15 for 30 min special as my tootsies were still a little sore from all of the Halloween festivities last weekend. I was expecting more pedicure salon style, but instead there were about 8 large reclining chairs in a dark spa-like room. Kinda zen. My reflexologist brought out a warm bucket of water to soak my feet, pushed my chair back to a reclining position, put a towel/blanket over me to keep me warm and got to work. The blanket grossed me out a little because he just grabbed it from another chair so it had obviously been used by another client. But, it was pretty chilly in the room and I definitely needed the warmth. I was a little surprised when he pulled the clip out of my hair and started massaging my head, but even more shocked when he pulled out my earrings and took off my necklace. In his defense he rubbed my ears, face, and neck. Actually, most of the 30 minutes was spent massaging everything but my feet. Lol… well not actually everything. But basically head shoulders hands arms calves knees and only about 5 minutes on my toes. Oh well, for $ 15 dollars it was a nice way to spend 30 min, but next time I think I will remind him I want a Foot Massage.
