Food was good but the white boy named Chris is rude and so is that old lady. Just saying, if you need a key to use the restroom you should have it posted instead of talking shit about it in front of me eating while my boyfriend was in the restroom. Will not be returning.

Worst Hawaiian bbq I’ve ever tasted! Extremely salty! I went there last night & got the chicken bbq bowl with a side of the macaroni salad. Their teriyaki/bbq sauce tasted like sweetened salt syrup & the macaroni salad tasted like salty food you buy canned at a grocery store. Definitely not worth the price. Never coming back here!

This place is the best. That one guy with the hoop nose piercings always gives the best service. Fuck with him, he’ll get your order right. He’s my man. Everytime I step in the building he’s always greeting my with a «what’s up mah nigga how’s it going» and I just be like«it’s Gucci mah nigga.» Fuck with this L&L just cause the customer service is that top flight customer service

everything is usually pretty bomb, i stick with my chicken katsu or BBQ chicken. this time i got BBQ chicken with some fried shrimp, the chicken was great but the shrimp sucked. It was about 80% bread and 20% shrimp, maybe even less than that.

I’ve been to many L&L restaurants in various cities, and I can honestly say this one of the best ones I’ve been too. Compared to other l&l’s, this location gives huge portions. The food was cooked AND served properly(unlike other places that do not cool the katsu, which causes the oil to be extremely hot and burn my mouth). The service was great too. Cashier was extremely kind. Will be back for more!

I don’t understand how this place has 3 stars… This is the best L&L I have ever been too! Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were extremely generous. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Bbq chicken is pretty good. About what I expected, good amount of food relatively cheap. No issues with the service.

been to many other L&L locations and so far, this place has been the greatest. I also noticed that the Carson location is the cheapest compared to other locations with the same amount of food for the price. & do you people really expect some high-end 5 star restaurant customer service from a take-out place?! ya’ll need to chill a bit!

Let me start out my post saying, I can eat almost anything, whether I like it or not. And second, if I think something is «too salty» I have someone else try it that has a different palate to see if it is just me, or it really is salty. Earlier this week we had to run into Staples to pick up a new chair, we decided to grab some L&L for dinner. BF got a chicken katsu and I got a BBQ beef to go. We got home and the BF ate his chicken katsu, he had 3 plentiful layers of katsu and his seemed to be okay. I took one bite of my BBQ beef and found it too salty. I had the BF try it, he was surprised as to as salty it was as well. I tried about 4 – 5 bites before I realized, even with rice, this was unedible. I tried to eat the mac salad, but the mac noodles were so overcooked that you didn’t even have to chew – gross. The salad had no flavor whatsoever and was absolute mush. This was my first visit to this L&L, and sorry, I won’t be back.

Pre-cooked sadness. I should have known something was wrong when I got my to-go order right away. How many heat lamps do they have? My bbq combo was over cooked and dry. I’ll never go back to this location again.

This is the worst L&L to go to I would avoid it at all cost. Drive farther, you’ll thank me later. The meat there was all burnt like they never cleaned the grill burnt it on the old meat juices and it was 2 days old and dry. Disgusting. When I asked for a manager to show them the garbage they served me they said there wasn’t one there. C’mon

2 stars for decent cheap food! –3 stars because customer service sucks! Chelsea was the cashier and she had the biggest RBF(resting b**** face). Does it hurt to smile a little or be respectful to your customers? You’re in customer service for goodness sake! Guess you can’t blame the high school kids or those fresh out of high school who can’t find a better job and are stuck with minimum wage. Pretend to be nice and maybe you’ll get tips sweetie.

The food is good, but forget about the customer service here! Don’t expect to get acknowledged when you walk in. I stood in front of the cashier and she didn’t even say«I’ll be right with you» or «hello». So I started using my phone and I look up and she is picking at her phone, so I stared at her and FINALLY she asks me «how can I help you»! I’m big on customer service, especially since I have 11 years experience. They need to teach these employees good customer service ethics.

My brother loves this place, but I can’t really figure out why. The service is not rude, but not exactly welcoming either. I’ve only been here once so maybe it was just a one time thing. Their chicken katsu mini plate looked and tasted like leftovers from last week. The macaroni was soggy and the rice only added to my suspicions that I was eating old left overs. I had some of their bbq and it was alright. Based off the quality of their food I think my meal was overpriced — I think their mini plate should be at most $ 3. Overall, if you don’t really care about the taste and just want big portions at an ok-ish price this is the place for you. I would only eat here again if there was not other food place open within a 10 mile radius. It’s been a few hours since I had some of their food and I’m still feeling like I will vomit any second. FYI– They don’t accept American Express.

I come here every so often for dinner. And you can never predict the crowd. Sometimes it’ll be super packed and sometimes it’ll be empty. When it’s crowded, it does take a while to get your order and the ambience is really loud like you’re in a high school classroom. On their slower days, the ambience is really nice and mellow. Your food is ready in ample time and you can hear yourself think. Either way, the food is always great and the portions here is bigger than some of the other local L&L’s.

Lack of or horrible customer service seems to be the norm these days. But that wasn’t the case when I walked into the Carson L&L over the weekend to grab some Hawaiian style food for a family gathering. Amy, helped me at the counter and not only did she allow me to sample some of the food, she gave me a deal on my two separate take out orders. The staff even helped me carry the food out to my car. I’ve not had that happen in so long, I don’t remember when it was last. By the way, the food was decent. Ended up picking up some Chicken Katsu, Barbecue Chicken and Macaroni Salad. The Chicken Katsu wasn’t bad. The accompanying sauce was a little too sweet. The Barbecue Chicken was decent and the Macaroni Salad was a little okay. I’d order from this location again as Amy was very nice and very friendly. And the quality was much better than a few other locations I’ve been to.
