This place met my expectations. It was so much food. Very reasonable price for the large portions. The meat sauce for the spaghetti and meatballs was great. Definitely coming back. Awesome hole in the wall place.

Good pizza. Lots of toppings, in my opinion too much toppings. I expected more from the salad. It was iceberg lettuce seven garbanzo beans one peporchini and a slice of tomato. The blue cheese dressing was thicker than sour cream but if you add water and a little bit of salt-and-pepper it’s great.

Meh, I tried the special and it was really not great. Raw pasta with Alfredo sauce that was thick and flavorless. The waitress said to come back and try the pizza which they are famous for. We tried the pizza and it was like 40 bucks so we expected greatness. Was really disappointed. Yes, tons of toppings but they all fall off when you pick up or try to cut through the hard crust.

Hands down the best pizza in town! They never fail to amaze me. Rosario’s pizza is definitely unique and one of a kind!

Went to visit my dad and he wanted us to try this pizza place close to his house. My brother called it in and they said the pizza will be ready in an hour. I was already hungry but my brother saidnits worth it so we waited. We got the large special for $ 42, yes thats right FORTYTWODOLLARS. The pizza was big and heavy, it had overload of toppings, but after eating a slice, you’re already tired of it because of all the different flavors competing with each other. I might give this place another try but will definitely get lesser toppings.

Toppings Galore!!! Me and friends had to finally try the pizza here after having this place bookmarked for a few years now. I’ve read how generous they are with the toppings here and after witnessing it first hand… generous is an understatement. We ordered the Rosario’s special that came meats piled on top of meats piled on top of meats. This pizza is a meat lovers dream. Not to mention its tasty as well. You would think with so much meat being stacked on one another that some would come under cooked but that wasn’t the case. The pizza was cooked all throughout and the crust had a nice crunch. The décor of the restaurant gives off an old pizza parlor vibe with a friendly staff. The menu prices may also seem a little steep but is well worth it given the amount of food provided. If I’m ever in the area again, I know where to go if I’m looking to have a fully loaded pizza. Dinner 4÷30÷2016

Been coming here since I was a wee lil lad. Anybody who knows Carson, knows Rosario’s from back when Carson had a larger Italian community. Great food, nice service.

Always great! They give you tons of toppings so be prepared. My only wish would be that they have fresh mushrooms instead of canned. I’m sure this won’t change since this is how it has always been, but I still have hope! lol

If you want 42 years of pizza making experience… Rosario’s is the place to go!!! I cannot say enough how ridiculously good their pizza is! Everything about this pizza was stupid good! Made fresh while we watched! they are über generous with the cheese, for all you cheese heads, they were also generous with all the other toppings. They were very fast, I think we only waited about 15 min. Give this place a try y’all! We’ve just found our new favorite pizza place! Nobody… But nobody, has this flavor!

Beastly, crazy, ginormous, loaded, intense… Just a few words to describe their pizza! Instead of scattered toppings on a pizza, each topping had their own thick layer. If u want 5 toppings, you will end up with a 5 layer pizza. It’s insane!

If anyone has been to NANCYS stuffed pizza, in racine Chicago, you’ll know that on the west coast there’s no comparison of West coast pizza and Midwest pizza(PIE), ORSTUFFEDPIZZA! As far as I’m concerned, this is what I’ve been looking for since going to Great Lakes, Illinois, for Navy boot camp! Having eaten at NANCYS, and coming home having to fed ex her pies, now I think I’ve found my pizza /pie nirvana! Try it, you’ll like it! Guaranteed! You might want to try the ravioli, and antipasto! All is extremely GREAT!

I dont care if you disagree, but to me Rosarios pizza is the best pizza in town. All you need is a small pepperoni, good for 2… call it in whether for take out or dine in… nuff said Alot of people complain about the price and the wait. They do accept phone orders and reservations. So if your gonna order for pick up then call it in, if your gonna order for dine in, then CALLITIN!!! then maybe the wait wont be so long. The price has gone up the past few years but your paying for quality. Patience is a virtue, and quality aint cheap. So if you cant wait, then go down the street to little cesars and pick up a hot n ready pizza, Its $ 5 and you’ll be in n out of there in less then 3 minutes. kaboom

If you go to Rosario’s be prepared to WAIT a lonnnnnng time for your pizza to arrive at your table. My Unilocal has gotten them more customers, maybe their old oven can’t handle it? The pizza is really good, but the wait is also very long. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush.

So my wife and I were hanging out at a friend’s house who lived in Carson. Since the kids were playing and having fun, I recommended we order pizza. Now I must say, I stand at about 250lbs and my buddy at about 280lbs. So when we eat, we eat a lot. That being said, he recommended we try Rosario’s. On the way to pick up the pizza, my friend told me that he needed to tell me a couple things about the pizza. The first was that the pizza is expensive. I didn’t care at the time. How expensive could it be? The second was that it was a big pizza. Again, how big could it be? When we arrived to pick up the pizza, the lady said it was $ 44. I almost fell over. I have never nor will I ever again pay $ 44 for a pizza again. She placed the pizza [box] on the counter and I remember thinking to myself, «That aint so big.» THEN I PICKEDITUP. The pizza was about 20lbs. I’m not exaggerating. It was a brick. We got back to the house and I must say, the pizza was delicious. It was loaded with flavor and a blast to eat. But definitely not worth $ 44.

Definitely will come back. Their pizzas are a bit pricey but they are heavily layered. $ 24.90 for a medium pizza that fed 4 ppl. My husband has never ate 2 pizzas and gets full lol worth every penny. Pizza takes about 30 min to make Great customer service. When u dine in, menu items are much more cheaper then take out. For instance spaghetti with meatballs with soup or salad and bread sticks is $ 13.10 for take out, today when I came in dine in special was only $ 6.00. 42 years and counting. great Italian restaurant!!!

TOPPINGLOVERSHEAVEN! They are beyond generous with the pizza toppings almost to a delicious excess! All food is prepared fresh to order but it’s worth the wait. This is a must for any pizza lover. I also recommend their antipasto salad… it’s absolutely loaded with toppings!

Pizza for breakfast is what I was going for and even though I ordered a small, it lasted me all the way to a late lunch(I’m a bit hungry at times lol) Will be back to this place soon, hell maybe even today! Crispy crust– CHECK Flavorful Sauce– CHECK Fresh Toppings– CHECK Lots of Toppings– TRIPLECHECK!!!

TL;DR: An old establishment that feels grumpy and charming at the same time. High prices. Call ahead because their gigantic pizzas overflowing with toppings take a while to make. Great if you’re hungry. Worth trying if you love pizza and want to try something different from the big chains and thin crust wood fired varieties. I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for this place. Located in a nondescript strip mall off the corner of Carson and Vera, Rosario’s is an institution in the city. I lived most of my life in Carson just a short walk away from this place and never started eating here until a couple of years ago. Their pizzas are huge. Not deep dishes per se, but the dough is thick and the toppings come piled mega high. Like, thick. THACK even. The prices seem exorbitant, but once you see the amount of toppings that come with your pizza you’ll find yourself nodding. Be careful when choosing your toppings though. For example, I have ordered pineapple and jalapeño before and had to scrape some peppers off to make sure I could actually finish a slice. This is a nice problem to have if you love to swim in your toppings. Their Italian sausage is quite good. Sandwiches are yummy; comparable in size and stuffing-level to the Belly Buster from Busy Bee in San Pedro. I recommend the meatball or the Italian sausage. I’ve never eaten here but I’ve gotten take-out plenty of times. The service is so-so but it seems like they’ve got their own bunch of regulars who are here all the time, which keeps the place in business. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a date night. All in all, the quality of their pizza trumps the price. I’ve overpaid for so many inferior meals in my life, I don’t mind overpaying just a bit to enjoy something that makes my inner fattie dance a jig.
