I visited Pikes Peak popcorn today with a developmentally disabled client of mine. I had seen online somewhere that they did popcorn factory tours, so when we arrived we ask about it. The older lady at the front was an absolute smart*** and was so rude and belittling as she answered my questions about the tour they don’t have anymore. Smart*** remarks like, «this is it — this is your tour — look around at all the containers of popcorn» as she chuckled to herself. Was so put off by her that I didn’t want to buy popcorn from her at all. My client had $ and wanted to buy a bag, so I caved and bought one too. Popcorn is overrated at best. Stale and blah. Never again. MUCH better popcorn elsewhere.

The store is convenient and has a large selection of flavors, but the ones I tried were all stale. I can buy fresher popcorn in a bag at any supermarket.

We stop every time we are in the area. They have wonderful popcorn — I love the coconut and the hubs loves vanilla. We sampled a bunch today and our kiddo loved the tutti frutti. Great service, too!

Ordered popcorn through the mail and everything was stale. Called and they admitted it was made 2 weeks before it was sent. No refunds either.

I have not visited the store, but my colleague frequently brings us bags of popcorn from Pikes Peak Gourmet Popcorn. This stuff is PHENOMENAL! There are dozens of flavors to choose from, including several seasonal favorites(chipmunk mix and kandy kane are to die for!) Whether you’re driving through Woodland Park or ordering online, it’s worth every penny. Check out their website for the full scoop: .

If you are a popcorn enthusiast, definitely stop by here. They have tons of flavors and allow you to sample as many as you’d like.
