So im here at the The Stork … and its wed its 8pm i totally forgot there is no NBA games on tonight. And to top it off its an older crowd. But there is a band set up who hasnt played yet. Wait wait as i type, the solo flutist has just started to jam. The food that other people are getting looks really delicious! Me, im just sipping on some Rolling Rock. Not a singles bar, maybe a decent to good sports bar.

Very good sports bar. Lots of TVs with the NFL package so all games were shown. The bar filled up with regulars. The friendly
bar tenders know what they are drinking. Lots of beers, on tap and in bottles. When I asked about IPAs she brought me three samples to try. Drinks are strong and mostly made with fresh ingredients. Food was surprisingly good. Breakfast burrito was large and tasty as was a patty melt. All prices are very reasonable. My only complaint would be that no coffee was available at 10 am.

We stopped in THE BLOCK for Monday Night Football and weren’t disappointed. The owner, Saul was running the bar and able to keep up with the drink orders without a wait staff. Beers were delivered to our table quick and cold! Ordered the Taco Salad which was ample and yummy! I liked that tortilla shell was deep fried rather than the standard «out of the box». The bar appeared clean and well maintained. Oh, the price was very reasonable too. The only thing I might suggest is that the volume needed to be a little better balanced during the game. We could hear the crowd noise great, but the announcers seemed to be in the background. We had a good time at THE BLOCK and will be back!

This place has changed owners but the employees remain. The more things change the more they STAY THE SAME. The wait staff here is okay but they do not go out of their way to greet or speak to you. They take your order and ask if you are okay. Just enough to get ‘er done.
The egg sandwich I had today was very good and it came with tater tots. Man, it HAS been a long time. I sat at the bar in front of a big screen playing the game I was here to see. I have never been a fan of these types of chairs but a foot rail will help tremendously as Jim C has already pointed out.
It is a local hangout that has PLENTY of TV’s. If that is all that you expect then you will be just fine. The changes that have transpired to the interior are a definite improvement but there is more.
I will be back next year to catch Viking games but that is it.

I have a feeling that if (when) I come back, I will be upgrading to 5 stars. I’d like to try more of their food for that. I partook in Taco Tuesday. Sorry if I’m sharing something I shouldn’t, but they have an «off the menu» $ 1 taco… chorizo. Ridiculously tasty for such a simple taco (street taco size and fixings… WELL worth a buck)! I was a glutton and tried each meat offering — pastor, asada, chicken and of course the chorizo. All were really good!!! The salsa is home made, too, which I always appreciate. The bartender was friendly with everyone there. The patrons seemed friendly. I’ll be back the next time I am in town!

I am happy to report that the new owner here has begun to make some updates. He has resurfaced the floor, and installed new flushless urinals in the mens room (sorry, can’t comment on any upgrades in the ladies room). They have also begun refinishing the bar, which will be a huge upgrade, once completed. Once they get the foot rail re-​installed and fix the bathroom faucets, this place will be golden. They also removed the paint from the front windows, which makes the place seem a lot less mausoleum-​like, especially in the afternoon.
On my most recent visit (about an hour ago), I had a couple of brews and a «Dodger Dog.» At $ 7.95, the 10″ dog was a good deal, topped with real bacon, with a generous side of crispy french fries.
The owner here is a really good guy, and is currently collecting Christmas gifts for at-​risk kids. Stop in and have a beverage. The regulars are also good, happy folks.

Great burgers and cold beer. A nice pit stop in the desert if you’re hungry. Very friendly and the food is hot when they bring it out to you.

San Jacinto, CA
Definitely more of a local’s bar atmosphere, but the wait staff was very friendly and food was excellent. We had a cheese burger, as well as grilled chicken sandwich with side salad. Yum!

Las Vegas, NV
Stuck in this town and was looking for a good little bar enjoy a classic American cheeseburger. This place is a hidden gem with a huge selection of beer and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite team. The service was a plus and very friendly. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for laid back good food and great selection of beer!
