I rarely, if ever, give bad reviews but the Village Pub is an exception. Service was slow, the place was so loud you could hardly talk to the people at your own table. Food and drinks were ok, but nothing to write home about. I’m not trying to accuse anyone at the Village Pub, but it was he ONLY place where I used my Discover Card and let the wait staff take it out of sight. Less than a week later I had several thousand dollars worth of unauthorized charges to my card. You do the math and determine for yourself if this is where my card was compromised.

Where to start… not only does it stink, literally, the bouncers are all thugs, the front door men are assholes, the service is horrible, overall experience was horrendous. Other than the fact that this place has been around forever, I’m surprised it hasn’t gone out of business yet been shut down. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Some how you will end up here at some point in Palm Springs life and you will wonder why. It sucks in so many ways and it literally stinks! I give it a rating of 1 middle finger! #1 buzz kill bar in all of Coachella Valley. :-(

Absolutely the worst service we received during the week we stayed in Palm Springs. Average food, restaurant could be cleaner, zero ambiance… skip this one!!!

This place is by far the most entertaining bar in Palm Springs. They have a little something for everyone, from a live band to DJ’s to incredible bartenders. Ask for Bobby and I promise you will have one of the best nights out you’ve ever had.

Restaurant down the street had a long wait so we came here. The service was very slow and the food was horrible. Never going there again.

Glad to have found this place. Great atmosphere, food is pretty good, and the deals on drinks are great. Came to watch football and was surrounded by fun people. Can’t wait to come back.

I would’ve given this place a four star for the food because it was excellent food but the service isn’t that great. After waiting to be seated we ordered drinks. After quite awhile wait we all but one of us got our drink. After almost a ½ hrs wait we flagged down the waitress to check on it. She completely forgot to check on the order of a simple beer. Food was really good thou otherwise this review would’ve been a 2 stars.

Terrible service. We waited almost 30 – 45 mins for appetizers. Also, they fail to mention that the happy hour menu does not apply to the regular appetizers on the main menu. I guess since it was New Years Day they decided not to offer happy hour apps. Would have been nice to know that coming in. The servers and manager seemed to be all over the place and did not truly give a shit about customers. They took our nachos off the final bill, but we ended up paying almost $ 100 for 8 beers and a few apps anyways. Needless to say I won’t be back and you should skip this place.

I only give 1 star or 5 stars but I’m giving them 2 stars because the first time I ate here I thought their food was amazing but last night I had the worst burgers I’ve ever had in my life. We ordered the sliders and the appetizer plater. Our waitress was very nice but other then that I will never eat here again. Maybe it was late and their main cook was gone for the day? Idk but I was expecting amazing and I was left disappointed especially since I was starving.

What was I thinking! Happy Hour/Right. They make you order a call drink. because they serve turpentine. And the service is like having a bunch confused teenager not knowing what to do… they look like they drowned in a cup of water when it stress. The only reason why they’re open is the location and they been there forever. And one more thing sorry to say the bouncers are a bunch of thugs

The cab driver recommended this over the other pub we were going to. Great happy hour menu. 2 Ahi tuna skeweres on a lettuce bed with wasabi and soy sauce for $ 5. Sweet. Excellent fries and Baja shrimp tacos. Decent craft beers on tap. The service was prompt. The patio heaters kinda pointed in the wrong direction, but the seating was otherwise comfortable.

Not exactly what I was expecting in Palm Springs. Its dirty, the service is slow when empty and the staff all look to be frowning. Not exactly a friendly place. The wait time on a single item is excruciating! I would NOT recommend this place!

This place used to be good local place that everybody would go to hangout. I been there probably more than 100 times. But more popular they get worst they treat their costumers. Problem started when they put few douchebag to the door. If you been ther you know them: The host guys with tons of jell in their hair and bold K-9 security guy. Very rude and disrespectful to the customers! Tehy suppose to be charging $ 10 cover to get in! But all of their«friends» gets in for free! I don’d want to pay $ 10 fee and see that a lot of getto people gets in for free just giving a hug to the douchebags at the door. Food is disgusting. I would never order food here. They do have decent happy hour specials in patio bar area, I used to come with my friends and have few drinks there. Anayways. if you want to have good time and enjoy your evening go somewhere else. Vilage Pub is out of my list!

It was 1 star until I walked inside. Outside was hot, and loud, and a crazy lady was at the bar. Also, the bartender was missing for a while. Inside had AC and a pretty, and nice, bartender named Angie. $ 2 beers?! Oh! HH is 10 am — 9 pm every single day of the week! $ 3.75 cocktails, $ 5. martinis, $ 3.75 select wines. Sweet deal I have never seen in the state of California in recent times. Yah, I’ll have another. Kind of slow, but then so is all of Palm Springs. I mean the scene, not the service. ½ empty on a Saturday afternoon with college football on. Very sports bar too. Not really my thing. But it’s always good to have a nice bartender. When it was slower we invented a drink together: Rumchata, banana liqueur, vanilla vodka? We were shooting for banana cream pie. It tasted like rice pudding with bananas. But it was good. What shall we call it? «Angie of the Jungle»? I’ve never seen anybody shake like that. It was like she was using a shake weight. LOL Entertaining. She was definitely the best thing about this bar, on this day. Cheers!

STRICTLY A BRUNCHREVIEW Food is not very good, to be honest. We had steak and eggs and corned beef hash. For starters, they admit to using canned corned beef. The steak was okay, definitely lacked flavor and prepared on a skillet. Eggs were eggs, at least I know they weren’t canned or frozen. All in all, I’ve had better breakfasts at iHOP or McDonald’s. Service was nice though, the lady helping us was super patient with our toddler who kept knocking beverages off the table. I’m aware that this is THEPUB to go to, so perhaps I’ll be back for drinks one evening. But brunch? No, never again.

This place is terrible hahah. Food was mediocre at best and overpriced and the drinks were terrible/watered down. All the beers/sodas were flat and watered down. Today’s date is June 20th, and they served us beer that expired on April 6th. When we complained, the waiter Katie only said«Okay, want me to get you a new one?»

Average. In math, that’s not a bad number, but when you’re trying to stand out in the middle of a town with outstanding restaurants, average kind of sucks. We stopped in about 630 on Sunday. We waited out the rowdy college party vibe that this place had on Friday and Saturday night. The hostess of the door was absent, so one of the servers came out and greeted us with a smile. She said is that whichever table we chose. After 10 minutes, she noticed no one had come by our table. She searched out our server but apparently he was on break so she took our drink orders. They had a pretty good happy hour menu so I knocked down a margarita rocks for only three bucks. My friend ordered the burger and I got the Cajun chicken sandwich. I tried her burger and it was actually quite tasty and cooked perfectly. My sandwich, however lacked much flavor. The chicken was cooked well but it didn’t have enough Cajun spices or any kind of, I guess chicken flavor. it was really just unremarkable. My recommendation for management is to make sure that The hostess remains close by so people know where to be seated. And, perhaps continue to try foods from your own kitchen to make sure it is up to scratch.

Our food looked and tasted like those Jenny Craig or Atkins commercials where they show you all the great things you get to eat. Pizza was microwaved with cold clumps of marinara sauce. My wife’s wings were horrible. Great service though.
