Bouncers were super cool and gave me a few options for good Mexican food in Palm Springs. There was a cover, but it was Saturday night on a holiday weekend, so not out of the ordinary. The giant bar could have used more bartenders, and the music kept us moving though the club. Seriously, how many bachelorette parties were in Palm Springs over Memorial Day weekend? I think there were more than 3 at the COPA when I was there. Good spot, and fun times!

We have seen several show at Copa including Andrea Marcovicci, The Kinsey Sicks, and Amy and Freddy. The room is nice, the staff is attentive but the sound system is the absolute worst. If I were an entertainer I would really expect a better audio system than what is provided. The sound is tinny and, at least where I was sitting, way too loud. These are top-notch performers made to sound like amateurs due to the poor sound system. I will definitely think twice before spending the money to see another show at the Copa.

I’d rate it no stars if I could. $ 12 for a Bloody Mary? They were clearing tables & removing chairs after the drag show. How’s about letting me enjoy? I know you want to go home but WTF?

First time here on a saturday night: Nightclub style Casual to club attire No cover charge Crowd show up around 11⁄1130 Hip hop music /Latin music /techno P. s.DJ jump back and forth between music genres… very annoying because you’ll be feeling the music and he switch to a whole new genre. But they mainly play hip hop.

We went here after having dinner at The Tropicale. The door guy was obnoxious ! It felt like we were trying to enter a club in NYC. Lame ! I agree with others about the design, the flow was confusing. The drinks were weak and expensive. The dance floor was full of hustlers, tourists, and locals. The music was loud, annoying, and not danceable. We stayed for a few drinks and left.

Tried going here Saturdaynight with 4 friends to meet up with 3 friends who were already inside. $ 10 cover we thought was silly, but we were happy to pay it. Incredibly rude security said«THEGUYINSHORTSCAN’T COMEIN.» Mind you they were nice, Khaki, golf shorts. Meanwhile numerous people in flop flops were allowed in as well as guys with their jeans barely staying on. I went inside & asked Aaron a Manager if there was anyway he could make an exception that there was 8 of us total & we’d be spending $ all night. He said no. I asked if the owners were there, he said no. Right then the rude security popped his head in & said«AARONNOSHORTS– NOEXCEPTIONS!» So I walked next door to Tropicale(same owners) & asked a bartendar if the owners were in. Man said they were next door(so Aaron lied to my face), but he was happy to text them. Few minutes later the owners replied with no shorts. I have to say for all of us being 25+ year locals & spending a lot of $ supporting local restaurants & bars(like Tropicale) this was very upsetting. I have been treated much better from Dinks when they were open, & Azul– & we all know how bad they’ve gotten. Few tips for the owners: Get new security, allow your Managers to bend the rules if it’s in your favor(in this case 8 people would’ve been spending $) & treat locals better. I will no longer recomend Tropicale & will not ever try to go to Copa again.

Was my first time at this lovely venue. Went to Lipstick Thursday to see Pinkie Merengue Shimmer’s performance and handmade headdresses. Did not disappoint! Entered the club expecting to purchase a ticket but there was no cover charge. All performers so entertaining! Music uplifting and nice bar with Happy hour pricing until 9. It is possible to participate as little or as much as one likes. Classy with just enough ‘trashy”. Bella da Ball a great MC!

I’ve been to Palm Springs several times and have noticed that the majority of the bars seem to be pretty ghetto. On top of that, most bars in Palm Springs charge a cover and the drinks are overpriced. Unfortunately, The Copa Room is not the exception. I was there recently and was very disappointed by this place. But we had already paid the cover, so ended up staying. However, I don’t ever see myself going back.

Thursday Night Lipstick Drag Show is Amazing. The Hostess, Bella de Ball is welcoming and gracious to the entertainers and the audience. EVERYONE is Welcome and EVERYONE has a good time. Bring single bills to tip the entertainers. No cover charge. Food from Tropicale next door is tasty. Atmosphere is festive and after the show there is a DJ and lots of interaction. Do not come to Palm Springs without checking out the Copa Room. Love It!!!

The place itself is really nice and the music is good. It doesn’t get overcrowded which is nice. The only issue I had is the security there. One of the securities guard was very rude. I asked him a few questions about the stage and he truly made me feel like I was beneath him. But the other staff was nice and polite. The drinks are good and they have a good variety.

OK. LOOKINGFOR A DANCEHALL? CAUSE I FOUNDTHEBESTPLACEINPALMSPRINGSON A WEDNIGHT ! SALSA/LATIN NIGHT! whoever decorated this place deserves a medal. the ambiance is electric with a mid-evil flare. the bar is very large and oblong so it can seat plenty. they also have booths for group partys The dance floor may be a bit small but it looks great and the music was on point! i went dancing bachata with my GF here and i must say the entire club looked amazing. even the bathrooms had a «tony montana» scar-face luxury kinda feel(black on black porcelain) Drinks are strong and great. Staff is nice. People here really can dance too. so when you get tired its like a show :) I also heard that they do live bands and all kinds of other stuff(which i have yet to enjoy)

Always an intriguing lineup of talent. The layout is horrible. This could be the quintessential intimate cabaret if the bar were relocated to the back of the club. The huge bar separates the stage from the audience. Maybe the stage was an afterthought?

We had the pleasure of hearing young piano singer/crooner Tony DeSare. He’s a wonderful singer and had some funny stories in between. If you’re looking for something to do for an evening, them check out the Copa shows. They a nice alternative to just dinner and drinks out. Equally nice, the Tropicale next door. If you tell them your going to the show, they’ll work to make sure your out in time to walk to the Copa next door.
