We hit this place after lunch for a cool one but it was a bad day, we got totally creeped out. Two career local drunks were sitting pole position at the end of the bar just unable to tune in. One of the drunken zombies couldn’t form words so he just made lude hand gestures at my wife under the bar. We finished half a beer and split. If you’re looking to get raped then this is your place. Message to the owner: «Clean House» on the daytime drunks.

This place was fun. Drinks were really good, nice music playing. There is a tv, we watched a little baseball. The drinks were super cheap, $ 5 Bloody Mary’s. The only thing I didn’t like was that the beer from the tap had so much foam in it, I’m not sure if the bar tender didn’t know how to pour it or that the system wasn’t working… But we overlooked that because of how wonderfully priced and how delicious all the drinks were.

cant say enough of this place. i walked in randomly one night and it payed off exponentially. great drinks and always have awesome bar snacks.

Randomly stopped by this bar to get a quick beer while getting out of the sun at the same time. Had a couple beers and enjoyed the cool bar. The man behind the counter was a nice gentlemen with an English accent. He gave everyone in there a bowl of pub mix while we relaxed. It was nice to have a cold beer at a very reasonable price, some snacks and be around nice individuals. A place I’ll be stopping by next time I’m in the area.

Great bar to hang out, local brew on tap. Great juke box, not so load that you can’t chat.

Great little bar. Excellent place to kick back and relax. The drinks are always spot on and never watered down. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

So I liked this place at first. Went down for vacation, found this nice little hole in the wall, and the first time in, everything dandy.
So drinks? 5 stars
Ambiance? Well, compared to the rest of the bars we saw a solid 4+
But holy cow, did we have one rude bartender. Like, the sort of thing you’re never supposed to ever do as a bartender, Victoria did.
So we were having a grand time, dancing to music, drinking, and our friend Eric had started a tab. Now, mind you, Eric doesn’t drink. Quit many many years ago. So he decided to pick up our tab, and when he went to close out, someone else was closing out at the same time (a woman) and the bartender gave her our friend’s card.
Now, I’m a bartender, and I hand every card I get back, personally, to the person I got it from just to make sure. And if I mess up? I own up to it. But that’s not was Victoria did. She blamed Eric on the mix up, assuming he was drunk or something? We told him he doesn’t drink anymore, and her response was «Well, it’s a good thing he quit,» as in, she couldn’t imagine what he’d be like drunk if this was what he was like sober?
What the heck, lady? So. Effing. Rude.
Place was great aside from her, but man, that was a big aside.

Seems like this place is turning into a hangout for drifters. Very strange characters surrounding this establishment. Tall Blonde bartender must be new or needs training, she is beyond clueless and careless. A few changes and this place has potential though.

Yes it’s all true… Keith is an amazing bartender! I of course had to try the Bloody Mary and like everyone else I agree it’s one of the best. You’ll be entertained for hours with some comedy, card tricks, a little history, and more. When I visit Palm Springs again I will definitely be paying the Desert Fox and Keith another visit.

Keep the love alive. Desert Fox is the way to go. Keith is a comedy stronghold that keeps it coming all day long. Come for the Bloody Mary stay for the jokes.

Come for the ridiculously cheap drinks, come for the colorful locals, but most of all come here for Keith, the most entertaining bartender on the west coast. Good times!

This place was fun! It’s my bachelorette weekend and Keith pulled us in when we were walking by and so glad he did! Totally took care of us! Great relaxed fun vibe, definitely check it out!

Really cute little place with great personality and ambiance. The bartender was playing an eclectic mix of music: french songs talking about not wanting to go to work or eat breakfast, songs in spanish, AND some Rolling stones. SO CUTE and FUN! Inexpensive drinks. Im not sure how wild it gets, since we stopped in around 8 pm, but I liked what I saw and I am glad that it wasn’t too loud.

First, the number one reason I chose this bar was because it had a sign outside saying it was the «snazziest lounge in town»…I figure any establishment using the word «snazzy» needs to be given a chance… so let me tell you, this bar is awesome!!! KEITH is an amazing bartender. As a fellow bartender, I can assure you that this man is the type of guy you want to serve you drinks! He’s witty, funny, fast serving and very attentive. He works hard to make certain you are having fun, whether it’s with a joke or a card trick or sharing a story from the UK.
And the prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I came into this bar on 5÷22÷14 we were told to stop by this bar by a local. My husband had to use the restroom right when we walked in so I waited at the bar top for him (FYI I am 7 months pregnant) James the bartender at the time gave me a hand signal meaning do I want a drink and I shook my head signaling no then mentioned I am waiting for my husband, he then got really upset with me and said «restrooms are for customers only and you should have asked» but yelled it and made a scene in front of a lot of people. I felt belittled. I’m sure this is a lovely bar, this review is not based on the bar but for the bartender James, if I could I wouldn’t even give him one star, he should not talk to a woman that way especially one that is pregnant.

Perfect little spot to enjoy some drinks. Not crowded at all, and they have great taste in music.
The prices can’t be beat — $ 3.50 Bloody Mary = ridiculous. And their prices on beer are pretty great too.

Need a dive bar with locals and live piano? B I N G O. You’re here’ friend.
Stiff pours, you too can become a regular in this little, dimly lit gin joint. The staff was friendly and attentive to all in various levels of cheer.

Since the desert doesn’t have the best nightlife, a good Palm Springs bar is more than just a good Palm Springs bar.
Now this cute lil’ place is fantastic! Not only are the bartenders who work at the Desert Fox attentive and kind, but they have never given me any reason to complain and we all know how impressive that is! One of the best things about this bar that I must emphasize on is the fact that it is — YUP you guessed it — air conditioned! Nothing like a nice, intimate, cool bar in the middle of one of the hottest places on earth in the summer. We’re already drinking and getting dehydrated, so anything to eliminate the heat is nothing short of amazing.
Tired of NYPD’s loud top 40 music? Don’t like Hair of the Dog’s puke-​smelling vicinity? Wander on over to the Desert Fox. Coming from those two bars, there’s no way you’ll be disappointed.
