A $ 1.99 charge for the table games? Really? Haven’t been to a Chilis in years but tonight everything else was closed. Food was ok for a chain and the waitress was overworked as typical. But when I get a surprise two dollar charge for playing a table game I lost it. First, I’m ashamed that I fell for a table game when I was with such a hot woman. Second any restaurant that has to resort to table games for revenue needs to rethink the menu. A note to Chilis, inform your servers that any game charges come out of their tip. See if you can keep them from going to nice restaurants.

I never go to Chili’s and not a fan of chain restaurants; however, I needed to get a filling healthy meal on the road and Chili’s fit the bill and pretty well. I tried their Ancho Salmon, which was a decent-sized portion and actually had some nice flavors to it. I think it came with a side or two and got the cous cous… had no idea I could get this at a Chili’s and was pretty impressed. Prices were fair and service was friendly. I might actually return to a Chili’s again.

The food was right on point. We ordered the steak and chicken strips. Delicious and our waitress was fantastic. She kept my glass full the entire time. We also ordered a batch of onion rings. They were very good also. Try them!

Had a very nice late lunch here; obvious they had been very busy during lunch hour. The staff was super nice even though you knew they had just been rushed with lunch business. I’ve been to several Chilis locations and the preparation and service were some of the best. They might have been short handed; having trouble keeping up with the bussing; but other than that super nice and yummy!

I really like our chillis here in cedar. But the car side pick up is probably the worst for mistakes. Nice people but for some reason I must be cursed because as many times I’ve used the pick up service something has been wrong. So if you use the service check everything befor you leave or it will be a return trip like mine again tonight

Super disorganized. Ordered to go and they kept telling me to go to different parts of the restaurant. Then when they decided where they want me, no one was there to help me. Appeared they were training someone because the new person just stared at me, until the person who knew it was going on, came over to help. I clicked through the Unilocal app, and several of the burgers that are listed on their menu, are not available anymore. Pretty frustrating, and had to listen to the lady on the phone go over all my different choices. Be aware, and called to make sure you know what’s available.

9:30 Sunday night. The table the menus were left on was dirty, menus sticky. Had to wait for the server to clean both off. Took a while to get a drink. Ordered an appetizer 5 mins later we’re told out of it. Food came, left the chicken off the measly salad for 11.00. Did not bring it for 10 min almost done with the salad by then. No offer to make all this wrong right. Poor business, would never patronize again. Service a 2 food a 2. The cook and server can share in the blame, paid full price for 50% of what we should get.

Usually chillis is a safe bet while traveling. But we were pretty disappointed with our Togo order. We are from socal and travel for work and steaks are usually the quality you’d expect. Unfortunately our steaks were so bad we didn’t finish them and my daughter hated the salad she normally gets. I’m gonna chalk it up to just bad luck but to be safe I won’t be ordering the steak there anytime soon.

OK… first off, I’m shocked. This place used to suck a bag of D’s when I first started going here. But they did a staff overhaul and it shows. Plus the restaurant has been remodeled and looks really cool.(Check out the lighting, its swanky.) Anyway, I waited less than 5 minutes to get seated, on a busy evening(that was pretty cool.) We were seated in a booth, which I prefer. The waitress was really friendly and approachable. Got our drinks immediately and they would get refilled often. I LOVETHAT!!! I got the Cajun Chicken Pasta and my friend got the 10 oz. Sirloin steak(med rare) with broccoli. Very quickly we got our food and it did not disappoint. Pasta dishes are hard to screw up, but this was actually pretty amazing. Better than the other pasta dishes I get at places like TGI-Chili-Bee’s. The chicken was tender, juicy, and the spice in the dish was just right. It couldn’t have been better. The steak was cooked to perfection. My friend asked for extra broccoli and it was given for no extra charge.(AGAIN, I LOVETHAT!!!) The only thing I disliked was that the booth has some crumbs and there were a bunch of screaming kids, but that’s just nit-picking. Love this place, Chili’s was a winner. :)

I wouldn’t select any stars if that was an option on Unilocal.DONOTSITINTHEBAR, better yet, don’t go at all. Cons: The female bartender didn’t write down our orders(she tried to remember them) so naturally she forgot my fathers sliders all together. My dad and I both ordered salads that were clearly from old lettuce. My tostada/taco combo came and the beef was horrible and had a weird texture, and there was barely any chicken in the taco… and again, old lettuce. And one tiny slice of avocado on each. My brother ordered a ribeye steak medium, but when it arrived it was obviously rare. I told the bartender/waitress and she said«okay.» And took the steak back. When she brought it back they had put the same steak back on the grill to cook longer, so now it was well done. I have never seen that in any restaurant before, it doesn’t seem like the correct way to handle them messing up the steak. The steak also had a weird color, probably previously frozen. The waitress never apologized or seemed to care at all that our whole meal sucked. My dads meal never came, my brothers meal was horrible, and mine was horrible. We ended up only paying for my meal and drinks(which makes sense since it was the only thing even partially eaten) and left with no apology about our horrible meal. The waitress truly did not care about our meal or experience, and when my dad showed he was disappointed with the whole thing she got defensive and rolled her eyes. SO unprofessional, especially for a chain restaurant that should have proper training for employees on how to act in common situations. Pros: The black beans/white rice were edible.

Save yourself and don’t go here. Nothing good about it. Chili’s sucks. Go to Café Rio or Panda Express right across the street. You will be much happier.

We picked Chili’s on Sunday(Mothers Day). Not much was open soooo I figured it was going to be a disappointment for my wife… boy was I wrong. Our hotel power was out and there was a snow storm, and when we got to Chili’s there was crowd standing in the snow waiting for a seat. We did not want to drive further so put our name on a 20 minute waiting list. They gave us a transponder with alien blinking lights…(see photo). So we mounted it on the dashboard of our car and waited in warmth for a signal. in 10 minutes we saw flashing lights and squeezed past the door crowd for our table. A hi tech game-board video display on the table allowed us to order our drinks while waiting for our waiter.(No warning Display about having to order our food before our alcoholic drink)…so we were glad we did not pick Applebee’s. Everything we ordered came quickly and our food was hot and served with a friendly smile. The desert selection was mouthwatering to look at on the video… and tasted even better than it looked. We were so very impressed with this eating establishment. Don’t let the franchise name fool you… this place is run by people who care about service and good food. Oh go ahead… We think you will like it. It WAS a Happy Mother’s Day after all.

Local Unilocal readers, are you like me? Do you often tire of this town’s limited options for good, real food? I found great food at Chili’s and despite the hurried service I received, I am adding it to my regular rotation of restaurants in Cedar City. Imagine my surprise when the food was actually fantastic? The night we(my husband and I) went, we started with the Tostada Chips & Fresh Guacamole with Grilled Corn. It is fresh and the ingredients are real. The guacamole is made with fresh avocadoes, salsa with real tomatoes, and grilled, blackened corn. The colorful guacamole is served with Chili’s famous fresh spicy salsa and a huge portion of their chips. The chips are always freshly fried and you can taste the difference. For the main selection, if you like a touch of heat, the Mango Chili Chicken is a wonderful choice. The salsa on top has the most wonderful spices and fresh avocado, mangoes, red onion and tomatoes. My chicken was grilled to a velvety soft texture and you could easily cut through it with your fork. The heat was perfect especially with the mix of sweet and tangy from the mangoes, and softness from the avocados and crunch of the red onions. I would recommend this dish to anyone with the appetite for heat. It is served with rice and steamed broccoli, but I chose my own sides: corn on the cob, and, my weakness, sweet potato fries which may be the best ones in town.(I’ve almost tried them all!) My husband kept reaching over the table to take another bite of my food, although his steak was good too, cooked to perfection. Chili’s had good food plus good value but it wasn’t the best service so I say they deserve a retry. I am hoping for better service next time because I know what I will be expecting from the food. 5 stars for the food, 4 for the service.

This is a smaller Chilies restaurant so if it is a busy night(such as most Fridays) you will have to wait a little longer. The staff was great at greeting us and accommodating us. Tried to seat us at a little table right in the middle of a walking area. We politely ask to sit in a booth in a less busy area and they were gracious enough to accommodate us. Ordered Texas cheese fries as an appetizer. They came out in average time and were just as we ordered them(no onions and jalapeños on the side) I asked for shredded cheese to be put on my fries(I know, not the most healthy but cheese is my weakness) the server even made the comment to me «umm, that’s a lot of cheese!». meal came out and they had put a 1 square piece of American processed cheese on the fries and not the shredded cheese. Needless to say, it was not very good. The honey chipotle chicken crispers were more like honey chipotle chicken nuggets!!! These things were tiny! I would have been better off getting a 4 piece chicken nuggets at Mc Donald’s. I also went half my meal with my beverage empty. Finally towards the end, they came and topped it off. I usually like chilies but this time it was not the best, it was actually a little disappointing.

The look and feel are that of a cafeteria. Upon walking in I felt like this was the pilot store for«Chili’s Express» except the service, which was so slow that when my rare steak came out med well I decided not to eat it rather then wait for a 2nd to be cooked. Very disappointed in this location. Won’t return.

What’s there to say about a Chili’s that hasn’t been said before? The big hit of the 90s was their barbecue sauce & ribs, but many local non-chain joints can offer better. With well over 1000 locations, one can go to this chain and pretty much know what to expect. This particular Chili’s in Cedar City was within walking distance from the hotel from our way back to SLC. There was a small wait of about 15 mins to get a table on a Saturday night which is no big deal IMHO. And that’s just that, we’ve come to expect pretty good food at reasonable prices on a consistent basis — at least that’s my view of this restaurant chain. It’s familiar anywhere and everywhere you go. And with those expectations, it’s hard to be let down. Nowadays every other restaurant chain is offering a «2 for $ 20» deal and the challenge was accepted; 1 app, 2 drinks and 2 entrees for $ 20. They ordered a spicy guacamole app, chicken fajitas and a salad. I ordered a big smokehouse bacon burger was not disappointed. All in all, good food and very friendly staff = A-okay!
