Concur with previous reviews. Delicious pulled pork. Cole slaw also good. For RVers there is ample street parking right across the street. Would been 5 stars but a little pricey.

First, I must explain why 4 out of 5. The food quality was excellent. But I have enjoyed similar quality at brick and mortar establishments for the same price. I guess I thought the whole point of a food truck is getting great food for a cheaper than a sit down place. It wasn’t ridiculous($ 11 for a two meat plate, 2 sides and wonder bread) but perhaps you get the idea. The brisket was tender, and the pork was fabulous. The regular sauce had a nice balance of spicy and sweet. We all enjoyed the potato and macaroni salads. If you have kids who like plain potato or macaroni salads, though, be warned: these have chunks of pickles or olives, etc. The baked beans were in a thick, sweet sauce. As I mentioned earlier, they serve a basic white bread with the meals. A hearty buttermilk bread or similar would make their offerings soar. Bonus: the truck was located next to a French bakery and across the street from a well-shaded park. Grab a $ 2 baguette at the bakery(maybe even a dessert?) and enjoy your BBQ outside.

We had Fatty’s while visiting the Utah Shakespeare Festival. The ribs and pulled pork were both flavorful and well-spiced. The ribs are beef ribs, so it was a big portion! Definitely worth the price. I wasn’t in love with the selection of sides, so I stuck to the meats. Also, the bread, while fresh, is a totally generic white. For what it is– a local barbecue food truck– Fatty’s is exactly what I expected. Conveniently located next to the Best Western Town & Country, it was easy to get in and out. Our order came in a bag with styrofoam boxes and plastic utensils, so it’s an easy to-go/take home option.

I think I am addicted to food trucks, because when I see one in another city, even if I am not hungry, I pull over to try it. If its a BBQ food truck, I might cut you off in traffic to pull over for it. Lucky for me, when staying in Cedar City, there was a food truck within walking distance of our vacation home. Had Fatty’s offered sweet tea, I may bump it up to a full 5 stars. The pulled pork was literally one of the best I have had, and the homemade slaw on top really gave it the perfect touch. The hot link was not as good, but still decent. The spicy bbq sauce had a nice kick that didn’t overwhelm. I was really happy with everything. The service was great as well. We didn’t wait long, and the guy working was super friendly. I hope this place stays right here so I can stop by while driving through or staying in Cedar City. This has to be a local’s gem!

Got hungry passing through Cedar City on the way to Cedar Bend Nat’l Monument. Chose it because of its high rating, and we have to agree with the rating! Just be warned it is a food truck, not located in a building. We had a taste of all the different meats, and they were all cooked to perfection. Both the regular and spicy sauces were excellent. All the sides were tasty as well. Best of all was the friendly service… he checked up on us as we were eating(not normal for a food truck), and he even gave us a free brownie! If we lived here, we would go again. Oh, and its next to a shave ice stand, so you can get dessert as well!

Great pulled pork sandwich with awesome coleslaw. My only quibble would be the bun. I would go with something sturdier. But excellent sauce and great customer service. The Texas brownie was to die! Amazing frosting, delicious marshmallows and a moist, tasty brownie. Incredible. A great find on our trip and we will stop on our way back!

Awesome BBQ! I never write reviews(this is my 3rd). But the fact that this place only has only 2 reviews in 3 years is amazing. This place needs to be on peoples’ Unilocal radar when passing through this town. Places like this need support… My group was on a road trip last week from Bryce N.P. back to Northern CA and were passing through Cedar City. There wasn’t a lot of non-chain options but this BBQ place had 1 review(at the time) and it was a trailer/food truck… not a lot of history to work off of. But we stopped in the parking lot and the owner was working and gave us a taste of his beef brisket. It was tender and tasty. Comes with cole slaw and either spicy or reg bbq sauce. Other BBQ items were pulled pork, ribs(he was out that day), bbq chx. Small menu, but solid sandwiches. Others in my group liked the pulled pork. There is only 1 table to eat at but we brought our own beers and enjoyed a good meal. We even took sandwiches to go for later that night on the road.

It really is the best in town. I tried it once and was hooked. The beans are incredible. The pulled pork sandwich is nice, but the beans. ohhh my. Just found out that they don’t operate during the winter and I am beside myself.
