Great burgers. Gluten free buns available. Also option of GF bread for sandwiches. Sweet potato fries are yum. This restaurant no longer serves breakfast.

Service is wonderful, food is outstanding and their french fries … sheer awesome. Always go for lunch but we’ll be trying dinner soon. Completely wrong review and restaurant by Jennifer H on 8-29-2014; Brick House doesn’t even open until 10:30, and not for breakfast.

Pretty disappointed with the food quality I ordered the fish and chips over fried fish and it was frozen fish filets gross. Asparagus soup was so thick it was pretty bad also.

Not quite a three but better than a two. The server was extremely friendly but the service was slow. The fries were tough but not crisp. Would not recommend.

As good as a diner can be. Nothing too fancy but everything was done right. My husband ate every last bite of his very large burger & fries. My Reuben was delish, with lean meat & very good sauerkraut on grilled marble rye. Onion rings were among the crispest, most flavorful batter I can remember. Iced tea was served in cute mason jars. And even though we didn’t order dessert, the waitress brought 2 nice pieces of chocolate fudge with the invoice. Clean, good food, nice atmosphere, quick food… we’ll be back.

The food is good. But it seems like the fries portions keep getting smaller. Most of the waitstaff are rude and don’t bother to refill drinks or check on how the food is. The fresh cut French fries are the best in town.

Very yummy sandwiches that you can also order gluten free! If you have Celiac Disease or a wheat allergy, be sure to order it «without cross contamination,» so they’ll be more careful with your food. Also, the fries are cooked in a fryer with other wheat containing products so you’ll have to substitute with chips or potato salad. The chips are yummy! I’ve had the Buffalo Chicken Philly, The Thunderbird, The Ruby, The Traditional Pastrami, and The Cuban. All were delicious, but my FAVORITES are The Ruby and Buffalo Chicken Philly, in that order! :)

We ate lunch on a July Tuesday and was very impressed. The place was nearly empty when we arrive about 11AM but by the time we left the lunch rush was well underway. The Madi was more than friendly, she helped us with lunch and information on SUU. The décor was nice and the menu was perfect. The food was very good and portions were perfect. The fry sauce was a nice surprise. The sandwiches were very flavorful. Desert was over the top. The berry pie with ice cream. The pie was fresh and the berry were close to whole. The overall experience was over the top. Will be going back every time I am in Cedar City.

Always a great place to eat. I’m fond of the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and the French Dip. Both are delicious. Don’t forget the sweet potato fries. Great place for friends and family. The wait staff is always great as well.

The Brick House is one of my favorite places to eat in Cedar City. If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant this is your place. Its also a great place to get together with friends and enjoy a good meal. Everything I’ve had a brick house has been wonderful. Just fresh and yummy. Their sweet potato fries are to die for amazing. Don’t even get me started on their jalapeño popper grilled cheese. Soo good! The staff and the environment is just very friendly and homey. I’ve never had a problem with the staff or the foot. Great place! Everyone should eat at the Brick house!

One of our favorite places in town to grab lunch! We have never been disappointed with any of the food and we tend to get sandwiches and burgers. The jalapeño popper burger is great! They also have very good soups that are great for the cooler months. It is very family friendly and the environment is homey and comfortable. They also have some of the best waiters we have had. Ask for a sample of the fudge! Also, old/elderly folk love this place. Just fyi.

Good solid French dip sandwich. Amazingly excellent fries. Taking home the cheesecake so hopefully that is just as good. Service was very friendly and fast, even on a busy Valentine’s night. A nice little down home restaurant.

Quaint, homey, and comfortable. Shame they mostly have sandwiches. The Valentine’s Day dinner was nice, they tried hard and had a violin playing in the background. My wife and I were looking for quiet and together, and this was just the ticket. The staff are super friendly, the food hit the spot and the overall evening was enjoyable.

All the burgers were good, gotta try their honey roasted jalapeño burger. I enjoyed the ruby burger which is a ruben with salami and a burger, tastey. The salad bar had a good variety and was fresh. Service is a little slow and understaffed, the floors need to be swept more, but overall it was an good experience.

Um. Not sure what to even say. We’re sitting here with plates of half eaten meals and no desire to eat more. Walking in here, there’s a sign that says«Best Café 2014». So, we try it out. «Best Café in a 50 foot radius» said no one. Ever. Lame. Terrible service, crap food, rubbery french fries. I can’t even find the desire to write more than this: go somewhere else.

Good food for the most part, but the fries are usually underdone and they do not do Hamburgers during lunch, but they do at breakfast and dinner. Who ever created the menu may be over thinking it a bit.

Decided to try this place after a matinée show at the USF. there’s a sign out front stating best in state, but i’m not sure exactly what they’re best in state for… I had the turkey bacon club with fries and tomato soup. My friend had the Pastrami and Salami sandwich with«kettle chips» and soups as well. My sandwich is okay, it seemed to be a bit uneven so one side was fuller than the others. The fries were limp and soggy. The tomato soup was not nearly hot enough and had little flavor. My friend has the salami was very good but the pastrami was mediocre. Kettle chips looked and tasted like they came out of a bag. The service was wonderful though! We had Mac and he was delightful, very attentive but not overbearing. — Tried again for breakfast and was still pretty unimpressed. The eggs are good but the bacon is oily and floppy. The hash brows and strips of potato so they’re very unevenly cooked. They don’t butter the toast so when you do it yourself it’s too late for the butter to really melt into the toast. The service wasn’t nearly as good as dinner time, but they turn away breakfast patrons at 10:30 on the dot. Check out isn’t until 11am for most of the hotels so that just seems silly. Do what they advise and go to the Main Street Grill down the street.
