This place had the cleanest public restroom I’ve visited in town. The food is really inexpensive and everyday they have something on special for 1 $. I work nearby and I get lunch from here more often than any restaurants in the area. There are always multiple cashiers and they have a neat system for waiting in line which speeds things up a lot. Their milk, bread, and eggs are less expensive and fresher than the local grocery store so this is where I buy those items.

What I like the most is the cleanliness of this place. They have a full time outside maintenance crew that power washes the pump area and the car washes regularly. So now gross gunk all over. Inside they have several check it’s and are not afraid to open up more if it’s busy. I’ve never had to wait long in line. Mostly I get gas, my car washed and buy milk and maybe some donuts. They always try to get me to start a milk card but you have to buy 10 gallons or 20 half gallons before you get $ 1 off a gallon. At least give me a free gallon if I’ve purchased that many. I’m too likely to lose my punch card before I buy that many. The cashiers are mostly friendly but some are dry, bored and just use the scripted lines they are trained to say. Would it kill someone to smile?

This is a relatively new member of the Kwik Trip/Kwik Star family. It’s the largest Kwik Star I’ve visited in Iowa(not that I’ve been to them all) and features a large truck filling area for 18 wheelers. The store is large and well stocked. Located just off US20 from exit 225, this is a great place to stop when you’re heading across Northern Iowa.
