Very friendly service but the chicken was bland as was the Mac n cheese. I probably would not go back because of the food. Too bad since the service was great.

Crispy fried chicken tenders were good, fries were a little soggy, and the unsweetened tea was nice and cold. Multiple drive-thru lanes make ordering food, fast and efficient.

–Ok so I have to admit the food is pretty good and well prepared. –Service is kinda all over the place, not a real order to it all. –Management: AWFUL! Exceptions of Quincey he is genuine & never dissappoints!

Fried chicken that isn’t greasy, heavy, or over-spiced. Fast, friendly service and good prices. If you’re in the mood for fried chicken — this is the place to go.

ENVIRONMENT: I hit the drive through on my way to Dallas so I don’t know what the experience would be inside. But from the looks of everything it seemed that everyone was having a good time inside. PRICING: Surprised that was about to get as much food as I received for only $ 9.00. Yeah I said $ 9.00. It was almost a steal. SERVICE: There was a line wrapped around the corner so the workers came outside and took the orders curbside. Very nice and polite people. Got the food very fast. But what do we really care about? THEFOOD! I picked up a 3 price breast meal and boy were these the BIGGEST pieces of chicken I have ever seen! They had a good crispy coat of seasoning and although the chicken was crispy, the actual meat was tender and juicy. Whew… I give it a 2CB Thumbs Up! I have spoken…

This is a 3.5 rounded down to 3. Let me start of by saying the people working here are really friendly. My first time here was at the drive thru. I ordered some chicken and also asked what gizzards were and a guy came out and handed my food and also included some gizzards to try on the house. That was very kind of him. I’ve been back a few times since then and service has been good each time. The reason for the low stars is that the chicken is really bland. There’s no seasoning at all and more often than not, it’s a bit too salty. This is particularly true for the gizzards. There are no unique dipping sauces to offset the blandness or anything offered in a cajun/spicy version. If it were a choice between KFC and Bush’s Chicken, I would pick Bush’s without question. But when you include other chains of fried chicken fast food restaurants such as Popeyes or Churches, the appeal starts to wear off. Even Raising Cane which suffers from similar issues as Bush’s is still a little less bland and has that special sauce to go along with it. Their sweet tea is super good though!

Best fast food fried chicken I have ever had! I love fried chicken — coming from a southern/mid-western family, I have eaten lots of good chicken in my time. I usually won’t touch fast food fried chicken with a 10 foot pole — but the reviews for Bush’s changed my mind. Its very good hot fresh tasty chicken. Its not quite at the level of restaurant or speciality(like Lucy’s or Mrs P’s) friend chicken but its a great quick low cost chicken alternative! I will say the sweet tea was way too sweet for me… but the hubs loved it. Rolls are good, sides a decent and the service was absolutely top notch! Great place for a quick friend chicken fix!

Chicken is cooked very well. Sides are good but someone didn’t get the memo regarding MSG. The green beans and the seasoning on the table are loaded with it. The quality of chicken is fantastic and the freshness of the sides are consistent. Its a well deserved trip provided that you heed a MSG warning for anyone sensitive.

Bush’s never disappoints! Not only is their food consistently good, but their customer service is outstanding! The manager and the employees are always welcoming and treat their customers well. I am always pleasantly surprised that each and every time we come here for dine in and take out, the manager makes time to talk with us personally. Love the local feel here.

Consistently tasty chicken with lots of meat. I ordered the smallest family combo and we enjoyed the chicken on the bone(which i feel is better than the tenders) mac & cheese, green beans and the super soft rolls. The front of the house seems to be a little bit less organized than in the past.

Been in Texas for 3 years — love love love Bush’s Chicken. It is always hot and fresh. I have never had chicken that had obviously been sitting. I always get the green beans, they are tasty. Hubs really likes their coleslaw. Entire family enjoys the rolls — we usually order extra. We really like that we can get the regular bone in pieces and our daughter who won’t eat things on a bone is very happy with the tenders. Also like that the family dinners can be a combo of regular and strips. The counter help has always been friendly. We’ve never had a bad experience and look forward to future visits when the craving for fried chicken hits.

Went to the newer(2014) Bush’s Chicken on RR620, just West of Lakeline Mall. It was very good for the chicken tenders i ordered. They were not greasy at all, and very tender and tasty. I ordered large(20 tenders) for a dinner, and they were ALL gone; they came with biscuits & gravy. They met my expectations… very good.

I am not a fried chicken type of person. I went on my hubby’s request. Wow, good stuff. The chicken strips were crispy and tender. I LOVED the rolls and fried okra. Mac and cheese and coleslaw I could live without. I was craving those rolls and okra the next day… Oh, and hubs loves the sweet tea.

Always have a good experience here. Friendly staff and the same manager is always there making sure everything is running smoothly with great customer service. Honestly every thing on the menu is great! I always get their chicken tenders with gravy or regular chicken and sprinkle their awesome seasoning they have on each table. Deeeelicious! :) I definitely recommend this location. Not sure what the new one is like near lakeline mall, haven’t been to that one just yet.

Its chicken. I needed a bite to eat. It was fresh. Service was speedy with a smile. Nothing fancy. Satisfied my pallet. If I’m in the area and want chicken I might go back. Fast food isn’t something I venture often. Soooo. Not sure about that. I ordered a couple tenders and a roll.

Chicken is still the best fried chicken around, but what happened to the counter help? Did all the regular employees leave and were replaced by people who were at their first day of work? Ordering was an ordeal today for a take out order. Still the best place to get fried chicken in Cedar Park, so I hope things settle down at the counter.

Clean restaurant. Great service, in a sort of organized chaos kind of way. Good prices. Nasty tea(I think maybe it was stale?). Rolls are just dinner rolls. Okra could use some salt, it’s mostly just batter on okra. The fried liver was pretty good. I’ll probably come back for the liver alone. I’d go more often if they had a real North Austin location. Driving that deep in to Cedar Park from Duval and Research is a bit of a chore… but not that bad of a drive, if I’m interested in driving. «God Bless» on the door going out indicates that they are probably a pretty heavily Christian organization. Not sure if they’re just competing with Chick-fil-a for that niche, or if they’re trying to be nice, but I’ll personally keep an eye out for batcrap crazy fundie funding if they continue to grow.

Thought the service here was excellent; very fast. You can tell immediately that they care about their customers. Everybody that works here seems to love their job. Fox news on the TV was a welcome surprise. All the«school» stuff on the walls shows they really go out of their way to support local kids. Chicken is tender; portions are huge; great value. Highly recommend…
