I’m very happy to say that service has improved so much. The waitress gave us great service. The manager stopped by twice to check how everything was going. He was very nice. Food was great, we had two outlaws, and the ribeye. Thank you fkr the great experience

I chose 5 stars because staff was fair and food was cooked perfect. Main meal came out a little slow but since everything was cooked perfectly it was totally acceptable. An appetizer coupon was given but was missed on the bill, then corrected. Sylvia was an excellent server.

No stars!!! Went in put my name on the list and was told 5 min wait. 4 groups of equal or lesser size were seated in front of me. When I asked why after waiting for 40 min I was told that people get bumped if you call in. So I asked where I was on the list and was told I’m not on their list. Was told I can wait another 30 min for a table. DON’T WAISTYOURTIMEORMONEY. Lies and excuses from teenage staff and a mediocre management staff.

I was so disappointed when we went to go eat dinner at Longhorn steakhouse. It was early before rush-hour the hostess sat us down and nobody would wait on us, we waited and finally asked somebody to get us our waitress. Not one person came over for drinks or anything we finally just got up and decided to walk out. We told the hostess what happened and she just stood there didn’t offer or even apologize. Really disappointed because they do have good food they need good help!

Great food, excellent service! However, out of the 3 visits there has not been prime rib available… One would wonder why Manager Paul Bedeski doesn’t ever seem to have any available after 6:00pm…

I’ve been here before but it was never so unpleasant. They took a long time to give us a server, the server was so slow. We were with 2 kids. The drink I ordered, still waiting for it…

Yum! I had their chicken strips, they were absolutely delicious. Very soft and tons so you have no choice but to take home left overs. But my favorite part was their peanut butter cheesecake, my husband loves peanut butter anything but man this was good! Even came to our table very pretty, service was quick and polite as well, forgot our waiters name :/but whoever you are thank you for the pleasant experience.

Couple of nights ago my husband and I patronized this Longhorn restaurant and both of us ordered the sirloins. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection! I ordered the broccoli and baked sweet potato(both were delicious) My husbands fries were cold but other than that service was good! We also enjoyed the flavored white peach tea!

I would give this location a higher rating but watch out for the AC blowing ridiculously cold at night! We were there Saturday night and sat on the very far back, on the left side. I ordered steak, my husband had a burger and kids had macaroni and tenders. The food was great, but it was so Damm cold cold, my server got me a cup of tea so I could warm up. He acknowledged that it was super cold but didn’t know why. I’m thinking to myself«oh yeah you know, you work here». He right out of the back told me it was a little chili inside and offered a warm drink but I declined it, trying to be tough. Not a chance! Fix that air conditioning problem and we gladly return. Overall, my experience was great and I enjoyed the food. Better hurry up and eat it all fast bc it will get cold haha. Everyone was nice that day, super helpful and all, minus the people sitting to our right, shoveling food on their mouths with their hands! And being plain gross, no manners… Ewwww, did someone ever introduce spoons and forks growing up? I’m assuming, not!

My family decided to go today for my Uncle’s bday as he has eaten at longhorn steakhouse fairly often so it seemed appropriate. It was the first time for me and I was pretty excited to see try it. We had a party of seven adults. We were seated quickly as the restaurant was pretty empty at 7pm, which was a little surprising. We probably sat there for a good ten minutes before our waiter came and took our drink order so we could have some water. He was a younger guy but seemed fairly sharp and friendly. We ordered steaks all around and several of us got salads also. When the salads arrived, well four of them at least, mine was missing. It came out about 5 minutes later, which normally is not a big deal. We’re eating our salads and other apps and noticed that all the tables around us had bread. We waited a few more minutes and decided to ask our waiter for it as he apparently had forgotten. A little bit later, our entrees start arriving. All five plates that arrived were given to the wrong person but we figured it out and the sixth plate arrived. Im looking around and everyone has their food. We sit there a few minutes with no servers in site so I asked them to start without me. After another 5 minutes, everyone starts gettting upset that not only has my plate not arrived, our server isnt there and we have no idea what the problem is. The manager shows up and apologizes and says the server forgot to put my order in but its in and theyre working on it. I wait, and wait, and wait some more and everyone is about 2⁄3 done when my food arrives. On top of that, my uncle, who we are celebrating states they didnt put the mushrooms that he ordered on his steak. Desert starts arriving and they are out of the one my mom ordered an hour ago… the server doesnt tell us when the others arrive but waits until he is asked to tell why hers hasnt arrived. We later get the bill and assume something was comp’d because of the issue with my steak but nope, its all on there. I’ve never had a server screw up that much or have that big of a negative impact on my experience and also believe the manager did not address the main issue properly or the myriad of other issues at all. I would not go back.

Enthusiastically devoured a small sirloin cooked to medium perfection along with a passel of broccoli… that’s how I do my low carb roll… while filching a few pinches of bread. The bread is usually pretty decent here, but it don’t like my blood sugars. My wife had a loaded baked tater and a cup of their awesome tasting shrimp and lobster soup, she got the soup first and ate half and saved the other to overload her tater… amazing culinary talent… grasshopper…I’ve taught you well… any time I can eat some great steak and spend less than 22 bucks is a great day, service was very good too.

Food was… a-ok(deserves 3 stars), however bumping it up to 4 because of the phenomenal service by waiter Devon(at least thats what the bartender told me his name was) — black guy with longer hair. Personable and friendly — even bought us a dessert to celebrate a happy occasion he found out about through conversation! We’ve never had that experience before!

Review within the scope of chain restaurants… I came here for Father’s Day with my family and I had a great time. Service was attentive and the food was good. My shrimp appetizers were delicious, my chicken fried steak was good, not the best but around average or above. The mashed potatoes were top notch as well as the baked Mac N cheese, the grilled Mexican corn in season was delicious, however near the end my kernels were raw as if they didn’t get direct heat. For dessert I had a blueberry lemon cake was was absolutely delicious. I believe since it was Father’s Day I also received a free appetizer coupon for my next visit.

I took my family here for a celebratory dinner last Thursday. Every bite was excellent. We started with two appetizers, the fried green tomatoes and the sweet chili calamari. Both were excellent. I thought the goat cheese on the fried green tomatoes was bold, maybe a little too bold, but the red pepper ranch more than compensated. My wife and I both had the steak and lobster. We added the Parmesan Crust. It was FANTASTIC! The steak was cooked perfectly. The lobster was delicate and tender. We topped it off with a chocolate stampede. The stampede must refer to all of my kids trying to get their spoons into it. Once again, it was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I look forward to going back.

I like the steaks better here than some of the other quick steak chains such as Logan’s or Outback. We don’t come here often but yesterday I got an email saying they were doing a dinner for 2 special, so I asked hubs if he wanted to check it out. I’m glad he said yes because it was a long day at work and I liked the idea of someone else cooking dinner. Aside from being sat next to a kid who screamed and kept turning around to stare/yell at us throughout our meal(see below picture) it was a-ok, but very heavy. For $ 29.99, you get a ton of food. They automatically bring bread to the table which we had to stop ourselves from inhaling after having the sugar free cardboard stuff lately. It made their bread taste magical, especially since it was served warm with softened butter. You also get two salads(we chose Caesar), two entrées, and your choice of either an appetizer or a dessert. We picked appetizer trying to avoid excess sugar and ordered the Wild West shrimp. It’s a GIGANTIC portion of battered and fried shrimp. They have a spicy kick so they come with a side of ranch for dipping to cool them down. They were alright but after a few bites I stopped because all the grease was upsetting my stomach. The other appetizer choices you can get on this special are parmesan crusted asparagus, spinach dip, or firecracker chicken wraps which are fried chicken eggrolls. I wish we had gone with the asparagus. For my meal I got the smallest sirloin they had which was 8oz along with a side of mashed potatoes(forgot to snap a pic!). They don’t come with gravy unless you ask, but I thought they were perfectly fine without it. My husband got the bacon wrapped sirloin along with French fries. They have you cut into your steaks before eating to be sure they are cooked correctly which I like. I was so full at that point though, I couldn’t finish my plate. I probably wouldn’t come here unless there was a special since their normal prices are a bit steep. But the service is friendly and it’s close to home, so it will do in a pinch.

We eat here on a regular basis, the lunch menu has exceptional prices if you take advantage of their specials. Honestly I rate their food a solid 5 stars, in line with the quality you’d expect for the price. To express why 4 stars overall I will list my «Oh joys» and my «Issues» and try feebly to be succinct. Issues: 1) Don’t seat a couple near the kitchen opening in the bar area with other tables available. But, I’m not passive and that was only allowed to happen once. In fact, please ask if they’d even like to sit in the bar, you know under the TV with the extra traffic, I hear even Chili’s does that much. 2) Warn your customers that when they get the lunch special all items, such as soup, salad, sandwich, burger, whatever will all come out holding hands. Second time we were warned and we said no to this. They will accommodate it if you express your preference, just as in the seating. Oh Joys!: I love their French Onion Soup, Pepper Steak Salad, Filets, and they have seasonal things like Beet Salads and highly creative treats like house-made chips. They have large glasses for your ice tea and I’ve never gone thirsty.(That is a major peeve of mine, sometimes vinegar hits your throat just right and hack, hack, hack, slurp slurp all better you know?) My husband is a steak snob, prefers to grill his own but for the price and quality found here he is happy. That is no small thing. They offer you complimentary fresh whole wheat bread. It is so good. Yes, if busy you must remind them to offer such said bread but I think I’ve well established that assertiveness is almost required when expecting your peak dining experience.

Terrible service and a particularly bad steak — can’t see a reason to return(perhaps for a cocktail at the bar?). Went to the LongHorn Steakhouse in CP at about 6pm on a Friday evening. It was already pretty crowded; had to wait for about 15 minutes at the bar. Actually the best part of the evening was the Steakhouse Martini($ 10) while I waited for a booth. I have to say that the LongHorn has a comfortable and attractive décor. But my meal(details to follow) was a waste of time and $$. After getting seated, the waitress dropped off a few menus(drinks, dinner, specials — is it necessary to have so many?). She came back after a bit of an interval to take my order — which was the 6oz filet mignon, a loaded bake potato, and salad. I received the salad which was OK, nothing memorable. The waitress forgot and never brought the fresh bread that she served to all the tables around me. When the steak arrived, it looked pretty disappointing(not like the photos posted on Unilocal by the management) — grey and mushy. The baked potato looked pretty good, though. The steak was cooked as I requested — medium rare — but it had a strange, non-beefy taste and evidently was cooked at a low heat(instead of seared). I masked the taste with horseradish. Very disappointing to go to a ‘steakhouse’ and get such a bad piece of meat. The waitress was cheerful but did not fill my water or tea glasses(ever). Total bill was approximately $ 38 not including tip. Left feeling pretty cheated — I could have had a better steak at Texas Land & Cattle or Texas Roadhouse for less money. I filled out a survey after my meal — and didn’t spare any words in my critical appraisal of my lackluster experience. The manager told me that the beef they use is «Choice“and cooked using a flat top grill(instead of chargrilled — which he said is possible). He offered a gift card which I accepted(not received after 2 weeks though — another oversight?). I’ll try Longhorn again but probably for chicken or a salad. Nothing about the place at this point was memorable — except the martini. Disappointing.

Ate here the other night since the wife had a gift card. I ordered a draft beer and the wife an Angry Orchard, but the waiter had to come back and tell us they were out of the Angry Orchard. I had to send my Sam Adams back and get a Shiner because it tastes bitter, then my Shiner tasted the same. My guess is they don’t clean their beer lines SOOO yA I wouldn’t get a draft from here. My wife finally settled on a black and blue margarita which was super sweet but she liked it. They start you out with a loaf of wheat bread which taste like HEB sliced sandwich bread, boring! We both had the NY strip which was surprisingly pretty good. Also for the price the steak size and quality was good. The side salad of pretty much boring bag salad, I ordered my dressing in the side. It came on top *sigh* The baked sweet potato was pretty good minus the fact who knows how long it been in a warmer somewhere all crust looking. Overall this is a chain steak house and did not impress me. So unless someone gives me another gift card I most likely will not be back.

I was hesitant choosing this place to meet a coworker for dinner. The reviews did not look promising. He wanted steak so we went. I arrived before him so I staked out the bar. I ordered one of their specialty drinks of pineapple infused vodka. It was good but overwhelmed near the end. My coworker appeared. We hung at the bar for another cocktail before making our way to the dining area. For the second cocktail, I was planning on changing to a berry vodka drink but our bartender was fast so I had the same pineapple beverage. The hostess quickly showed us a table. The dining area was only 25% filled. Our waiter was immediately there asking if we wanted appetizers. We needed more time so we sent him away. I should point out now, we were in no hurry and planned a long relaxing dinner. When he returned 5 minutes later, we ordered the fried onion appetizer and our entrees. I selected the grilled rainbow trout and he the steak of course. At this time we told the waiter we were in no hurry so hold off on the entrees for a while. He replied he would. Liar, liar, pants on fire. We were enjoying our conversation when the starter came. Perfect, sipping our cocktails and nibbling on the onions. Which, by the way, were flawlessly cooked and tasted excellent. Within three minutes our salads were brought to the table, okay we can deal with this. Salad was fresh and the dressing was not over powering, great combo with the onions. Two bites of the salad and another fried onion, then bam. Our waiter brings us our entrees. So our idiot waiter does not know what NOHURRY means, and he tries to remove the appetizer. Come on buddy, it isn’t even half finished. The food was extremely tasty. My trout was tender and savory. It was two full fillets on the plate. The side of steamed vegetable was not overdone, it still had a bite to them. My companion loved his steak. I have been back a few more times, and the food is still very good. It seems the fast food delivery is common. At least with that know, future visits, I will only order one thing at a time.
