The stars are for the drinks and waitress, not the food. They are worth 5 stars, the food not one. After our first trip with overcooked steak, I ordered a rare sirloin with grilled shrimp on our second visit. The shrimp was were dry and rubbery, even the tails which I’ve never seen rubbery tails on shrimp before. The steak was medium to medium well and I even tried eating it. Got part of the way through and just had to stop when my jaw was tired from the excessive chewing. Talked to the manager and got a blanket answer about being a Friday night rush, etc., etc. Not one offer of help, just a next time you come, try this… unfortunately there won’t be a next time. Unless, of course, we stick to happy hour and come for drinks and an appetizer. No more.

I came here with my sister and her boyfriend a couple of days ago to get some lunch. The food was great and it came out quickly but our waitress was rude. From the moment she came to our table she seemed irritated and unhappy with her job. She asked if we were ready to order. We told her that we needed a few more minutes. She rolled her eyes and left. She came back about 5 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order. We said yes and she sarcastically replied«Are you sure?» I told her what I wanted and she repeated it back to me to make sure she wrote it down right. I told her«Yes ma’am that’s correct.» She looked at me dumbfounded and said«No, don’t call me that.» I’m sorry but if you are having a bad day and you are at work you should put a smile on your face and get over it until you are done with your shift. There is no need for that negativity around customers.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews. The service was great, the staff people were friendly and attentive. I had the rib eye with the mac n cheese and a salad. Was very good. The mac n cheese had great flavor with a very good texture. I ordered the rib eye rare, as most places I’ve been to overcook it. I like it between rare and medium rare, so if I order rare, I’ll get it the way I like it. Not here … it was rare. The cook knows how to cook! I had to send it back twice to get it the way I liked it, and didn’t mind at all, as(to me) it shows that they don’t want to overcook and ruin a great steak. And the steak was so tender and flavorful! Will definitely be back!

Still the best steak salad in Cedar Park. The price of food vs. Quality is still good. Managers always fix any hiccups or food mistakes. I got take out once and was not happy with the size of my mashed potato side, was like a small scoop. Won’t do take out again unless I check it all before I leave.

This is the third time we have been to this Logan’s and we have been sorely disappointed every time; there will not be a fourth visit. Our party ordered an appetizer and three of us ordered steaks. The appetizer was wrong and had to be remade and all three of the steaks were wrong. In fact, they sent one of the steaks right back out to us after we sent it back due to overcooking(ordered medium and got well done); they had just put some butter/topping on it and sent it back, still had the same cut in it from the initial plating. Another steak was order medium rare and it came out medium to medium well. My steak was ordered medium well and came out a severely dried out, no moisture, hard to cut well done. Even the sides were cooked poorly. I feel sorry for our waitress as she was very nice and was truly struggling to keep up with all the other tables(apparently they«triple seated» her). The kitchen staff needs to be retrained, soon, or else this location won’t be open for much longer. We’ll make the drive to Texas Roadhouse next time.

Not that impressed. I had the salmon that looked like a ‘child’s portion. The Mac and cheese was a disappointment :(. The grilled chicken breast had no flavor and when the waitress ask how everything was we both said ‘not too good.’ Her reply was ’ well that was on the healthy menu’ Ok healthy can have flavor… The best thing was the baked sweet potato and the rolls ;)

They provide the worst steaks ever if you’ll ask the manager it is only choice grade meet that’s why they’re expensive steaks are so stringy and gristly and gross don’t be fooled by them claiming they have great steaks. They give you what’s equivalent to a knife for cutting rolls and spreading butter for a steak knife. The quality has absolutely gone down hill in this place do not ever consider Logan’s a true steakhouse. I gave their steaks a try several times before finding out what grade it was now I know why

Server was great and a sweet heart, but… This is by far the worst food we had ever had at a «steak house». Ticket time was 31 minutes, Order included a filet medium, spicy chicken sandwich, and an two skewers of shrimp. Steak came out rare, so manager took it back, then they decided to butterfly the filet and pressed it, came back chard and medium well, dry as hell. duh… Had the pleasure of finding hair in my sandwich and the bun was clearly stail. Shrimp had absolutely now seasoning on it, it was clear they did not butter it on a flat top they simply threw the skewers on the grill, end of the skewers were completely burned. Second time eating here and it’s very obvious that the back of house management doesn’t have their cooks or crews together. 31 minute ticket times and poorly cooked food, and i can’t help but wonder if they know why it’s dead inside this place at 8:45pm on a Saturday.

It’s not surprising this place was not busy while the other restaurants nearby were. Generally most of the wait Staff and host and hostesses stand around the entry chatting while a few do the work. We ordered rice, got fries. Broccoli was not desirable at all. My son ordered the steak salad and neither of us could chew the meat. The server we had didn’t come to The table for the first 15 minutes we were there, because she was confused on what section she had. It’s unfortunate someone has invested money in to this restaurant to have it operated so poorly. We won’t be back. To many other options to choose from.

Not all Logan’s Restaurants are alike. Tonight I enjoyed a nicely grilled meatloaf covered with a tasty brown gravy, grilled mushrooms & onions. The broccoli was nicely steamed and had a delicious lemon butter sauce. Have to say… I’ll be back to this Logan’s and you should too!

Great service at lunch. But poor cheap tasting hamburger! Tasted like 80% filler, 5% beef and who knows what the rest was. Mickie Ds burgers taste better. Cutting food quality to make money???

For what it is(an «american food» chain restaurant) Logan’s is by far the BEST! This review is specifically for this location(I’ve never been to another one). So I dine in here occassionally with my grandparents, who frequent the place(about 3−4x/wk for lunch). The décor is what you’d expect, and it’s always clean. The service is like your going over to your Auntie’s house for lunch, just super friendly and welcoming, not to mention patient(my grandpa has alzeheimer’s). They also know my grandparents by name, and have their order memorized, and mine as well, even though I’m not a «regular.» Okay, so on to the food! On every table is a bucket full of fresh peanuts, in which you shuck the shell and toss into an empty bucket. Believe it or not, fresh peanuts make for a really good appetizer — they are light, and somewhat healthy. Deshelling them makes you pace yourself, so you’re not stuffed before you even get your food… unless you eat the delicious, fluffy, warm buttered rolls they give the table as a complimentary app. Let me tell you, the rolls alone are enough to keep you coming back! For lunch/dinner, I always get the baked salmon with broccoli and a sweet potato. The salmon is surprisingly good! It’s seasoned and baked really well, better than some well-known, pricey seafood places in town! Sweet potatos are always baked just how I like them(soft inside, crispy skin) and the broccoli is steamed well. I’ve also had the fried catfish, which is tasty as well. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sides they have to choose from(and the options are limitless!) mac n cheese, baked apples, veggies, potatos, and the list goes on and on! I really, really enjoy this place. Most chain restaurants get a bad rap, but this one is all around fantastic– great food, great service, great price! Def my favorite!

My boyfriend and I went in for dinner around 8pm today and we were seated immediately, which was great! We got the same waitress that we did last time, Nichelle, and she was fantastic! You could tell she was pretty busy but that did not affect her friendliness or promptness with getting our drinks and order out. We did have to get our own silverware(not her fault) but I swear every time we come we never get silverware, but we didn’t bring it up to our waitress we just grabbed it on our own. We skipped on an appetizer this time but got some yummy fresh bread while we waited for our food. Their rolls are to die for, especially since they bake them fresh multiple times an hour. Yum. I had the sirloin(rare) with a house salad and sweet potato fries. My boyfriend had a full rack of ribs with a mushroom skewer and a house salad as well. My steak was cooked perfectly and their homemade ranch it the bomb. This is the first time I have ever tried their sweet potato fries and I was definitely impressed by how good they were. The ribs literally fell off the bone, to the point that he was pulling the bones out one by one. The mushrooms were super salty and wayyyyy over seasoned but after wiping them off with a napkin they were tolerable. We also skipped dessert because we were both completely full, but before bringing our check our waitress made sure to grab us Togo drinks and take out boxes. Overall we had a great experience and the food was good. Definitely a good place for an inexpensive meal, we have never had any major issues at this location and will continue to come here. Just wish the waiters didn’t always seem so rushed, hopefully they have enough staff.

Went to Logan’s Cedar Park on a Friday at approx. 7:15pm, party of two, received immediate seating. Soon after we were seated, our waitress«Shell»(receipt says Nichele B) came along to get our drink and dinner order. We had not decided on dinner and asked for a few minutes, we did request ice water — she rolled her eyes and walked off. Several minutes later(still no drinks) waitress is back says«what do you want for dinner?» Yikes… I ordered the steak salad and hubs ordered a burger with onion rings and a side salad. He stated very clearly, please no cheese on anything. He ordered an oil and vinegar dressing. Hub’s salad arrives, it is covered in cheese.(still no water) We ask her to please bring a salad with no cheese, she«humphs» and walks off. Returns several minutes later with a salad no cheese and when I asked for silverware and our water, she gets annoyed, rolls her eyes again and gives me a sarcastic«yes Ma’am». Hubs picks up his salad dressing, drizzles it on his salad takes one bite and that was it. The dressing was an Italian style but clearly has pieces of parmesan cheese in it, he could see it and I could smell it. Manager walks by, hubs flags her down and asks for a salad and dressing with no cheese along with silverware and water. Waitress arrives with hubs burger and my salad. We still don’t have silverware or water. When we asked again, we got a snarly«yes Ma’am» I don’t know what her deal was but she should not have been let loose on the general public. First time in many years I left no tip. Water and silverware arrive shortly, Manager brought hubs his salad. We received one refill on our water after flagging down a different server with a water pitcher. The only thing our waitress did timely was deliver the bill, pick up our credit card and return for us to pay. Food: Hubs said his burger was very good. My steak salad with the house blue cheese was also very good, the steak was a bit grissly and tough but overall it was a good salad. We enjoy the bucket of peanuts and liked the booth for two, it was comfortable.

Loved it! We drank $ 2 beers, ate peanuts and threw the shells on the floor, and ordered two entrees with two sides for $ 15 during early-bird hours. They have really nice sides to choose from. We loved the grilled vegetable shish-kabob, and their house salad was quite nice as well.

We enjoy Logan’s. My son loves there cinnamon apples & we appreciate an affordable steak on the kids menu. My husband and I always get the BBQ chicken. It’s think juicy & flavorful. Sometimes we get sweet potatoes as the side, sometimes grilled veggies. Yum mushrooms!!! Peanuts and hot rolls are plus while you wait! I am not giving a 5 star because I don’t recall ever having a really great waiter, including last night. Not bad, but sort of behind, not prompt. I may update this review accordingly. This place is always clean. Seldom a wait to be seated. Never messed up our order or had anything weird happen. And for me, that wouldn’t warrant trashing them on Unilocal anyhow– one bad employee or just an employee having a bad day doesn’t warrant 1 star for me. But more overall experiences. This place is great & we will continue dining here.

When you are hungry, and I mean HONGRY, this is your place. Upon sitting they put a basket of three warm and fluffy yeast rolls on your table and will refill it as many times as you like. They also have a bucket of peanuts if you don’t mind thinking about how many other hands have been in that bucket(germ-a-phobe alert). We started with fried pickles and they did not disappoint. For my meal I got their 6oz sirloin with a cesar salad and sweet potato fries. The fries came dusted in cinnamon sugar which I enjoyed. The steak was decent and the salad I took maybe three bites of. Just random bits of lettuce drowning in dressing and covered in flimsy Parmesan shavings. Meh. My husband got the sirloin and salmon plate with a cesar salad as well and mashed potatoes. I do like that before the server lets you start eating they have you cut into your steak to double check it’s cooked to your liking. $ 34 for our entire meal(including my husbands beer) was a really great deal. They have good happy hour specials too and cute southern inspired cocktails served in mason jars. Nice option when you find yourself craving a steak dinner last minute.

If I could give ½ stars I would border on giving this location 3.5−4.0 stars. The food and service has been hit and miss but not so bad that I won’t return. Overall it’s a good place to eat. They are in the 1890 Ranch shopping center so there is ample parking which is a plus. Their hot yeast rolls and butter is what usually draws me in. There is only one time when the waiter did not bring out the rolls and butter like normal which was a bummer but I ended up ordering the sliders which are served on the rolls instead of a bun so that kinda made up for it. Overall I was disappointed in the sliders. The rolls were not fresh and soft and tasted like they were at least a day old. The patties were hard chewy pucks but they did have a really good flavor. They came with a small slice of cheese that I didn’t even really taste. The fries were really good and the waiter was very nice but could have been quicker on the refills. I sat without anything to drink a couple of times(the restaurant wasn’t busy either). The last time I went we had Cindy as a waitress and she was awesome. Super quick and friendly and checked on us often. You can tell she has experience working in the diner scene. I had the chicken fried steak which was great. I’ve also had the bacon and egg burger which was really good. The onion rings and sauce rival Outbacks bloomin onion. They used to be served as onion petals but recently I noticed the petals were not on the menu but turns out the same sauce is served with the onion rings. If you get a salad I suggest asking for the dressing on the side. Some of the waiters will naturally bring it on the side but several will put the dressing on the salad before they bring it out. If you aren’t careful you could end up with a little bit of salad with your dressing. I’ve never ordered a mixed drink here but have ordered draft beers which are super cold and served in a large cold mug. Two thumbs up for that.
