I hate to write this review, I love this location. But everyone should be warned about the poor service at this restaurant. We went to dinner with a client, when we got to the table we ordered drinks, that took about 45 min to complete. After that dinner was served incorrectly, with wrong orders, wrong table, raw food. After a conversation about the problems we had been updated that the staff had just walked out. We also noticed that the owner left the staff hanging as well, and left the restaurant in the middle of a rush and understaffed. I was hoping he was going to the store since they had run out of most beers. I’m sad to say that was not the case. I can just hope someone buys this place and can have some success. P. S. We had also were double charged for items and had another tables bill added to our tab.

Dear Lonestar Grill– I recently came to your restaurant today for the second time. We got the same waiter that we got last time. I still don’t know his name because he has never introduced himself. We thought the first time he was our waiter that his attitude and poor service was due to him being overwhelmed yet there was very little people on the restaurant as it was the night of the oscars. So we brought friends this time and thought we would give it another try. I’m a local chef and am very supportive of local restaurants with decent food and come from a service background as does my husband. We seated ourselves outside as we did not know to go inside to see hostess because there are zero signs. When our waiter came up he first said, «did you talk to the hostess?» My friend(who has never been here) said oh we did not see one. He responded with a snarky, «that’s because she is INSIDE. This was our first and best interaction with this jerk for the night. He didn’t even bring out our appetizer and then when I confronted the manager about his behavior which included many other rude comments and responses, this same jerk said that he NEVER heard us. Then the manager pulled me back over to tell me it was our fault because we seated ourselves. So we are the reason we got bad service and that our waiter is an older man and was overwhelmed and so the expectation from your management is that if your staff is overwhelmed they are aloud to treat patrons like crap. Are you serious? Nothing but excuses. I spent $ 50 here and we rarely eat out. We tip GOOD. All the time because we appreciate new restaurants and good service. It really was pathetic because your management made excuses even though the last time we had this guy he was rude. We gave you another chance and you let this same poor excuse of a waiter lose you business. Dear prospective patron — The food– Pretty typical southern cuisine without any depth of flavor. I got the fried catfish that tasted like cinnamon for some reason? The fried pickles are wimpy and lost their breading and the margaritas were very underwhelming. The jerk of a waiter made sure to tell me that you had a new bartender and that he made our drinks extra large so I should be thankful. Really? This guy doesn’t even know how to interact with humans? Why is he in service and why are you paying for him to represent you? Sadly, even though the building and playgrounds are cool, the staff and management is piss poor. The food is even more lack luster and rest assured if you have any problems at this place, it will be YOUR fault as a patron because these people know how to run a business about as well at the reunion grill did. And we all know what happened to them… from a mother, a chef, a service employee and someone with lots of patience. I HIGHLY recommend you don’t waste your time or money here!
