Fast food with a restaurant atmosphere. Not authentic but not better than the drive thru chains at about the same price. Taco Tuesdays unbeatable.

Not only did they raise prices(not really that much), but I barely got a tablespoon of meat/chicken in my crispy tacos and had to fish for the lettuce. I can understand(not really) this happening at peak times, but it was 4.12 pm. The tables are not that clean either. Very disappointing visit after all these months I went weekly for Taco Tuesday.

I have always thought the food was good at Rosas but my rating is on a particular experience. I ordered chicken fajita nachos but when I got home realized they forgot to put a single piece of chicken on my nachos. Since I live too far to drive back & because fajita nachos cost twice as much as bean and cheese, I called and asked to speak to a manager. The guy that answered assured me they would credit the price of my nachos and that I would see it on my bank statement within a few days. Well he lied. I never got a refund and I think that is bad customer service. I understand it’s human to make a mistake but then not to fix it makes me not want to come back.

Came here for lunch and I got to say very impressed on the speed on the food and it was actually pretty good! I got the taco plate dinner and by the time I finished paying and got my drink food was at my table. Good flavor and the rice and beans were delicious. This place is definitely a great spot for lunch when you want to eat decent and need it quick. It’s definitely better than going to Taco Bell and you spend roughly about the same amount. Overall it’s a great place to eat and it’s fast which is amazing for lunch.

Even though you will have to wait, go across the street to Dos Salsa’s if you are looking for some good Mexican food. Learn from my mistake. I did not want to wait at Dos Salsas so I took my family to Rosa’s across the street. Oh man I wish I had waited. Rosa’s is more like a school cafeteria than it is anything else, and not a good one either. There are a few things you can eat such as chips and salsa, but everything else is just bleh. The chicken was, well, I am not sure it was actually chicken. The enchiladas were sub-par for Mexican food. This place is just not that good. Notice some of the other comments are«don’t get this» or «I only ate chips and queso» or «interesting architecture», well you can read a whole lot into that. Basically — if you want some really good Mexican food this is not the place, if you are looking for a cool looking building with some appetizers that are hard to screw up then go here. Maybe if they spent more money on quality food than the building?

Rosa’s is always good food, clean, helpful staff and a great value. Why would eat Mexican food anywhere else? The menu is varied and they are always happy to get it just right for you. EATATROSA’S! !

I’m a vegetarian and sad to say we had to walk out. The beans have pork in it. Food looked good, but not much for vegetarians.

I love this place. They have awesome food in very reasonable price. You must eat here and bring your friends to eat here too. Note: you will develop a queso addiction but it is a good thing. They have awesome menu and great quality mexican food. Every time I think of craving for mexican food, this place always come to my mind. My wife is the biggest fan. We eat here at least once a week if not twice. The staff is great I love the fact that half of them have been working here for years, and pretty much know what you are going to order.

NOMNOM! Love this place! especially the sopapias! Or however you spell it ;) I normally get the Nachos here, instead of anything else cause the queso is just that good, plus its easier to share with my son. I love how decorative the inside it, Its like my eyes never get bored. They also have this cool number system that shows on the TVs so you know when your order is ready. My Next Mexican rest. next to Jardin caronas!

Customer service was great! But when you eat here, expect«white people» Mexican food(I say this as a white guy). When my wife asked what I thought, it was summed up with a shrug of my shoulders, a «Meh» and my statement above. My wife was more eloquent: «It was better than Taco Bell».

Let me 1st say DONOT order the Fajita Nachos! If you like fajitas and know what a fajita is supposed to contain and taste like then you will be completely and utterly disappointed and possibly grossed out by the Fajita Nachos. It had chips, refried beans, orange nacho cheese(I prefer the white creamy sauce, I am used to up North on my nachos), diced fresh tomatoes, sour cream, jalapenos and some tough grilled chicken. Now you can’t just throw grilled chicken on nachos and then call it fajita nachos. If I ordered fajitas, it would come with plenty of grilled veggies and meat, sides of probably lettuce, shredded cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos(maybe) and sour cream. Ok, now to the compliments: We love the tacos and fresh tortillas. We have ordered the tortillas and brought them home for our own homemade dinners. The guac tostada and regular ones are great! I’ve had the guac salad, too. YUM My son loves to make me a special salsa with the fresh lemon and limes from the salad bar, onions combined with some salsa. The drink selection is great. The rice is moist and flavorful also.

Fastest window service in town. Pleasant staff and friendly service. Fresh warm tortillas every time. Great selection and choices.

The kids and I ate hear last night after Isaac’s speech therapy appt. The restaurant was clean, the people were nice & the sauce/pico/lime bar was fresh… because of those three points, I give 4 stars. I feel that the 3 ½ stars that they have on Unilocal is spot on since it’s nothing special with regards to the food, a lot like a taco cabana. Overall, a good dining experience that we will probably enjoy again in the future.

Rosa’s holds a bit of nostalgia for me as Rosa’s was a central part of my college experience. All of my friends would gather for study sessions on Taco Tuesday. I was more than ecstatic to find one near me here. Rosa’s in Cedar Park holds the same things that I grew to love about Rosa’s in college — the homemade tortillas and the salsa and queso. Don’t get me wrong, this is fast-food tex-mex, so if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, it’s not going to be in the way of a place with a drive thru window and a salsa bar. But compared to other fast food restaurants(e.g. Taco Bell, Taco Cabana, Taco Bueno), Rosa’s blows the competition out of the water. The tacos are tasty and made from real ingredients and the homemade tortillas are soft, fluffy, and dangerous if you’re watching your carbs. But if you’re watching your carbs, you’re probably not going to Rosa’s.

The elaborate architecture is a bit at odds with what kind of menu this place has, but its nice to feel fancy I guess. The food is not exciting, but its good and fresh, and the value is great. They give tortillas out with everything so if you’re trying to dodge carbs this is the wrong place to go. I mean, who can toss those lovely fresh pillowy tortillas? I know I could not resist. Mostly everything on the menu is very middle of the road tex-mex. Fresh and plentiful, but not very inspired. I haven’t had anything that I would drive out of my way for and I wouldn’t really send any friends or out of towners here for an experience unless they were broke. I can say its way much better than Taco Cabana though.(If only Rosa’s served breakfast!) The salsa bar is a high point, including Pico with fresh jalapenos, and onions if you’re a freak like me and like your bean burritos extra oniony. I also like how they provide real honey with the sopapillas. Another forbidden treat, but well worth the calorie splurge!

Hello Unilocalaniacs if you’re reading my words it’s because you want to know about Rosa’s. Well my introduction to this establishment started in Killeen TX back when my brother in law was in Ft. Hood. The first time I ate there was 2008 and hated have to go 190 west just to get some delicious tortillas. Well enter Cedar Park and 1441 and in 2013 I was ecstatic to see one pop up. Oh joy no more riding to Killeen to serve my craving(outside of seeing family of courses). Rosa’s Café is what I’d call a solid chain restaurant. The flavors excel compared to both of those TC joints. This is meant to give the customer an experience of authentic Mexican food. I believe Rosa’s does accomplish that in most aspects but it doesn’t put you in the mind of a place that is «true mom and pop authentic». The flavors on the food are good and the place stays pretty clean. Warning don’t go during rush hour(a hem lunchtime) because you’ll be packed in there pretty well. It’s cool seeing the employees hammer out fresh tortillas and you know they use lard in them. If you want some decent«chain» Mexican food that won’t set you back a ton give Rosa’s a try it’s worth it.

I love Rosa’s. I love Rosa’s a lot. I was super excited to see they opened a location in Austin. I was in the area for my nephew’s birthday and had to make the short trip to Cedar Park to check it out. I was so relieved that this location had all the goodness of the Midland/Odessa locations. The #14 beef with queso had the same mesquite smoked meat and a super generous portion of queso. The fluffy, fresh tortilla was filled with all of the yumminess I am used to. I ordered 20 to go, and the staff was prompt and did a good job packing them up. The staff was friendly and even let me know why we don’t have Rosa’s in Houston. Unfortunately the College Station location isn’t taking off like they had hoped, so Houston, we have a problem. Aggies, get out there and get your Rosa’s!
Ok, like, ROSA’S ISGOOD. I’m from that northern land of DFW where there are many Rosa’s and I was so happy to find one kiiiiinda near my house! It’s not fancy, at all. Probably most on par with Taco Cabana if I had to make a comparison, but historically I enjoy Rosa’s more. It’s incredibly fast, cheap, and fresh. It might be because I have a taco-filled-with-yellow-cheese-shredded-lettuce-ground-beef-sour-cream-and-diced-tomato hole in my heart. I am from Texas. Have we all not had«Mexican» food like this? I do not go to Rosa’s to get al pastor or mole. COMEONPEOPLE. Given that, they totally deliver yummy food for way cheaper than you’d expect. I got a humungo pile of nachos for $ 5. A guacamole tostada for $ 3. They were super good and I’d get em again. Leave your pretension at the door and get some damn Tex-Mex.(Emphasis on the Tex)
