Chemical specialist did not listen and gave me Dark hair even after I ask her to please make sure my hair was light.

Went to get a haircut, and had no idea who to ask for. I was put with Margo and she was amazing. She did such a great job sculpting my hair into long layers. I received many compliments all day long. I would highly recommend her.

I brought my 13 year old son who has very curly hair into Visible Changes starting a few months ago after a really bad experience at a mens hair salon who basically only knows how to cut the same version of the crew cut different lengths. My son received two just OK haircuts by Amber who was recommended since she too has curly hair. This last haircut we were scheduled with Eric since Amber was out. He did an amazing job and recommended some products that are working nicely on his hair. He is a picky 8^th grader so kudos to Eric for a really great job!!!

I was very excited about getting a haircut and a new look. This was my first time to visit this salon. I booked with a «creative director» stylist. I thought for $ 55 I would be treated to a fantastic salon experience. I was very disappointed. She rushed through the whole cut and then tried to just stick me under a hairdryer so she wouldn’t have to style my hair. I told her, I am paying for a shampoo cut and style. I expect to feel pretty when I leave. She says, oh I see… well I guess I can diffuse it. I’m thinking, great don’t let me put you out… When I’m waiting to pay I overhear her tell the receptionist that she is late for her break due to my cut. The whole shampoo, cut and style took less than 30 minutes! Then when I get home and start looking in the mirror I notice several pieces of hair that are several inches longer than all the rest. I guess I’m not really surprised by the poor cut considering the overall experience.

Love this place!!! I usually get my haircut here with Ashly and she does an amazing job (totally recommend getting your haircut with her). Today I had my hair highlighted by a different Ashley. Words cannot express how grateful I am to her. A few days ago I went to another salon to get highlights done, and I’m not kidding when I say they did an awful job. I have dark brown hair (almost black), yet the colorist gave me golden mustard highlights. It was so bad I wanted to cry. I called to make an appointment with Ashley, and she managed to turn my less than desirable mustard-​gold highlights into something beautiful. I was so nervous after my horrible experience at another salon, but Ashley managed to calm me down and go through in detail everything she was going to do to my hair. Long story short, I am one happy customer. I will never go anywhere else. My hair looks beautiful and I feel like I can conquer the world. Thank you, thank you!!!

Sara did my color and highlights! She did an awesome job! I wasn’t sure what color I wanted at first for highlights and she showed me a book with hair color samples and had helped me find a color that goes well with my natural hair color :) I will definitely come back again and have Sara do retouches!

Kristen and Allison B. have been doing my hair for over two years. Before I came across them, I had been basically seeing anyone who was walk-​in ready, never really caring who did my hair.
Kristin and Allison are irreplaceable as stylists. Kristen has NEVER given me a bad cut and has always been on point with what I wanted. The same goes for Allison for color.
Their years of experience really shine through, and they have both become valuable assets in the business world.

I’ve been coming here getting my cuts with Ashley. I’ve been seeing her a little over a year now and I have to say that I’m am so happy with her and Visible Changes at Lakeline Mall. In the past year I went from mid length hair, to super short and now back to mid length after taking some time to grow it out. Ashley is always so attentive when I come in. We talk about how my hair is and what I like and don’t like and we figure out what’s going to be the best way to cut.
Today I asked her opinion about getting some highlights in some crazy, fun colors. She was totally excited and she called a colorist over to ask her about what would be the best way to highlight my hair and she gave me a quote estimate also. All the ladies that have washed my hair have been nice, the people at the desk and random interactions with the other salon staff have always been pleasant. I love that you can book online which automatically gives you 10% off OR when you check in on the Unilocal app you get 20% off. Ashley thank you for being so awesome! I’m so glad I have you to keep my hair fabulous!

Mandy is the best for great haircuts that are modern style and very easy to manage. While you sometimes have to wait a bit, even with an appointment, Mandy will usually throw in a conditioning treatment to help make the time pass faster! She’s also great with kids and has been cutting my daughter’s hair for a while.

As is always the case, I am always super happy with my VC experiences, this location included. I’ve gotten my hair bleached and trimmed here several times since October. Prices are what you’d expect. I believe for me it has been a bit above $ 100 each time, which is not bad at all. Everyone here is really nice. They move you through quickly but in a nice manner.

This is the only place I go when I need or want my hair done and I get Eric every time I always leave extremely happy and exited about my hair and its great service !!!

I’m late writing my review but I got the time to finally do it and don’t want to pass the opportunity to say, THANK YOU– THANK YOU to Alli B for taking such care of me and my hair, you saved my life!
Ok, first of all, my hair is curly and dark brown color, I had the idea of getting streaks on the front of my hair because I really wanted a change… BAD IDEA! The more I looked in the mirror, the less I liked how my hair looked.
I decide to color my hair back to the original and cover the streaks, especially because my vacation trip was coming. I really didn’t know where to go and decided to give Visible Changes a try, I got so lucky because I got to meet Alli B who’s a great gal and an AWESOME stylist! I’m so happy I decided to try this salon, Alli not just helped me to correct my hair color but gave it a much needed treatment and the result was fantastic, couldn’t been happier during my vacation with my hair looking great and healthy.
I finally have found my salon and personal stylist so I don’t have to be Googling for a new one anytime soon! I highly recommend Visible Changes, talk to your stylist about what you want and they will guide and advise you wisely; they sure know their stuff in this place and the atmosphere is fun and friendly :)

Yeah, I say this place is pretty awesome. My guy of choice for cut and style is Adrian, please go to this guy if you have been wronged by your previous stylist and need to have your faith in hair cuts renewed.

I had my hair colored twice with two different stylists and both times I was really happy with the outcome.
Today I brought my son in and he had an awesome cool 6 year old cut with Adrian. Then on Saturday, had my mom go in, I was on Friday. So, three people are all happy, thats gotta tell you something!

I was going to try somewhere new to get my haircut since it seemed the lady I normally go to has been a little busier than normal, so I called Visible Changes to see if I could get in.
The lady that answered the phone was very sweet at first, I didn’t catch her name but she had a strong accent. She took my info and asked if I’d ever been there before. I said no and she proceeded to ask me questions about what type of stylist and price range I want. I asked if she could explain a little more since I hadn’t been there and her answer was very short, «well the more experience, the higher price» and then listed all the job titles and prices. So I requested the Master cutter since that was about the price I was used to paying.
This is where things changed…
After being put on hold for several minutes I was told the master cutter was not available but that she’ll just put me with (stylist name) because they are cheaper. I asked her if she could tell me what my other options were and she insisted that I just go with (name) because it’s cheap. She no longer wanted to answer any questions and just kept repeating that I should go with the lesser price.
I told her she was being pushy and I didn’t appreciate it. I don’t trust many people with my hair so I’m not likely to go with something because it’s cheap.
So, needless to say, I did not make an appointment.
I just wished the receptionist actually took the time to explain things to a new customer and was more sensitive to the customer’s needs.

I was long overdue for a haircut and figured since I was on vacation visiting family It was the perfect time to knock it out! I did some research for nearby salons and my trusty Unilocal app stumbled upon Visible Changes. I scheduled an appointment for the following day.
Since it had pretty good reviews and was close to their house, I decided to check it out! I requested a Master Cutter since I did want some «visible changes» in my hair cut and look. I was paired up with Margot. Upon arrival I was told to take a seat in the waiting area and waiting no more than 5 minutes before an assistant came to get me to begin my shampoo and conditioning.
Margot was very friendly and knew EXACTLY what was going to look best with my hair and facial features. I showed her some pictures from Pinterest and she told me what would she thought we should do. She gave me excellent looking layers that framed my face very well, and she was very fast. The whole think took an hour from start to finish which included the blow-​dry and style! I was very pleased with her. Since I do not have a stylist back at home, I might just have to wait until my next trip out to Austin to go back for a cut!
I would highly recommend Visible Changes and Margot to someone looking for a reliable place to go. They are fast, friendly, affordable, and appointments seem to be easy to make! You can even make them online once you are given a log in.

Joseph is by far the best hair stylist in Austin. He is friendly, professional and current with all trends and products.

I’ve always had my hair done at Visible Changes, but it was my first time at this location. I saw Allison for my color. She was super friendly and polite. I went there to get ombré hair color for the first time. She was very knowledgeable and explained what worked best for my hair color. The process took so long, but I’m glad she did not rush because my hair color turned out great. The person that washed my hair (I cannot remember her name) was also very friendly and made sure I was comfortable in the chair. Overall, I had a great experience.
