A family business on the edge of the up & coming NewBo district. Not your typical out-​of-​the box strip mall Chinese restaurant. The dining room is very small as the restaurant is located in a nicely remodeled, old school gas station. You know the kind that had two pumps and a garage. That just adds to the charm of the joint. Since they do a lot of carryout and delivery business, it seems to be adequate. The food is fresh and flavorful and the prices are very good. The lunch special is just $ 5.75 with rice and an egg roll. Support local!

best chinese food ever! always fresh and great service

As a long haul truck driver that eats in a lot of different states, I have to say hands down this place is probably in the top 5 Chinese food restaurants I have ever eaten at. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The delivery was quick and drive was very polite and grateful.

I drive by this place often. Finally decided to give them a shot. I been searching for a quality Chinese restaurant since I moved from California. The service was helpful and very friendly. The food I ordered the happy family and oh yes very happy. I hope this place is around a while because the food is just delicious. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful. When I saw the prices was a little worried because they seemed a little steep. Until my order was packed up and I realized I had a lot of food.

Great family owned restaurant! Their son takes your order while Mom and Dad cook it fresh before your eyes. Quality food with fresh ingredients. Not shy on their portions either. They serve at least 50:50 entrée and rice, unlike most places that give you 6 chicken nuggets covered in a corn syrup based sauce.

Visited the city for the first time and in the mood for Chinese. Found this location on Unilocal but don’t count on finding it with your GPS navigation. I’m glad I finally did. It’s a quaint family run restaurant that prepared delicious entrees. I ordered my dish with a few modifications and they accommodated me. I definitely recommend this place. Take 8^th or 6^th st to 12^th Ave… ijs

I almost gave up looking for this place as my GPS could not find it! It is a very small place but the food was very «clean» and fresh. My mixed vegetable dish with garlic sauce was great! The family seems very hard working. They were friendly and intend to please. I wish them success!

There was an issue with one of my orders but they went above and beyond and fixed it.
I’ve ordered a few times from this place now, always calling in the orders now. Everyone is very friendly, the food is amazing, they are ridiculously fast. like. Move over Jimmy Johns fast and I’m not sure if it’s the owner who delivers or what but he is the nicest guy ever.
All of my co workers started ordering and they all love it too.

We were in the market for a new «favorite» Chinese restaurant. Multiple horrible experiences with local delivery and take out left me on a Chinese food strike.
I absolutely love the food here. It’s in the building where Sweetie Pies was, very small. I wouldn’t go there for the ambiance… other then the amazing family that work and own this little Chinese haven.
The food is definitely made with heart and it’s noticeable. The taste is clean, not overly processes, overly saturated with sodium (don’t get me wrong, I have a very close relationship with salt) to mask the flavor of this Chinese feast.
Price wise… so much more reasonable then the majority of the areas little Chinese joints.
The family here, oh how I have such admiration for them. Strong, hard working, ethical values which they are passing on to their two adorable kids who are often helping around the restaurant.
I’d love to see this place succeed, this is the type of business that deserves it. An honest, hard working family making ends meet.
