Terrible service! Took forever and the waitress spilled beer all over my foot and didn’t even care or come back to clean up the mess on the floor. She was more interested in talking to the bar tender than doing her job. Pizza was mediocre at best. Wish I could give 0 stars but will give one because the manager did give us a $ 20 gift certificate and even after that our bill was $ 80 for 3 pizzas and a few beers.

A family place that you will enjoy. Likely not for most of us.

Mellow Mushroom is a Suburban chain restaurant that serves ok food in a fun groovy 1970’s themed LSD trip ambiance. My friend and I enjoyed the portobello mushroom appetizer as an entrée salad at lunch. All would have been well, but I asked for no cheese and was informed that these mushrooms come«pre-assembled». The hot, and quite tasty pre-assembled mushrooms were served on a plate of packaged greens with a massive squirt of slightly-too-sweet balsamic vinaigrette. However!!! It was tasty and filling. Pizzas may be the way to go, and the place has a fun friendly vibe!

Have been here a few times now. Nice staff, good pizza. A little on the pricier side for pizza but it’s worth it. Their white sauce on the pizza is yum. The garlic bread is just ok though.

Service is fast and the food is great. We go here every few weeks with the family never had an issue.

We’ve never been to a Mellow Mushroom, so today was our first time. The restaurant was large and very clean — comfy booths, large mushroom-shaped light fixtures, and spotless bathrooms. Our food came out fast and it was delicious. We also got a free order of Bruschetta from checking in on Unilocal(so make sure you do, too!). I was very impressed with the quality of food for the price, and the free Bruschetta was an awesome deal. Alex was our server. She was incredibly attentive and sweet, and kept the refills coming. She was also personable and made us feel like a priority. We’re already making plans to go back soon and eat some pizza.

Meh… We were in the mood for pizza and decided to try out the Mellow Mushroom based on all the great reviews. I have to say we were a little disappointed! Our server was really friendly but the service wasn’t great. They were definitely short staffed, no worries, it gave us extra time to review the lengthy menu. Tons of great offerings, even quite a bit that gluten free. We decided to split the house calzone, stuffed with mozzarella cheese, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. After quite the wait we had our huge calzone, pipping hot right out of the oven. But… meh. It was good, but not a lot of flavor. And the one thing that it was missing? Mushrooms. We will be back just in case we caught them on a bad day, but not for awhile

I have been to this location 2 times; once with a large 15person party and another with just two of us. The servers are friendly and the night of our large party they were attentive and didn’t rush us out of there. I really do love the unique pizza combos they come up with such as the Thai and the baked potato, all have been good! The salads are not as impressive and do not order the house wine, it was like colored red water. but what to expect at a pizza and beer place. As a whole the pizza is delicious and this location is my favorite restaurant in the southglenn restaurants!

I wasn’t even in the mood for pizza, but this place had the most bomb ass mushroom pizza with black truffle oil on it. I think it was the best pizza I’ve ever had! There are disco balls all over the place. The décor is eccentric yet classy, and their beer section is immense! The 4 Noses Coffee Porter is delicious. Furthermore, the server, Ashley, was extremely kind and patient and took the time to explain their immense menu. She was professional and friendly. You should request her. I would definitely come back and I would recommend! There are a ton of restaurants in this area, but you won’t regret trying this place out, especially if you’re a vegetarian.

My husband is a Unilocal Elite and we came for their Unilocal Elite event. It was our very first one in Denver. And man did they set the standards now high! The pizza was delicious. So fresh with the flavors. This location is kinda far for us, but I now plan on trying their Lone Tree location that is a bit closer. For the event, service could have not been better. The food and beer was in abundance, so much so that at the end they gave you take home boxes. The wait staff was courteous and professional and never was there a wait to have a clean plate or dirty dishes removed. They made you feel like you were at something truly elite.

Came for a Unilocal event and so glad we did! We had been to two different Mellow Mushroom locations before(Cincinnati and Kentucky) and this one was my favorite. Great location in Southglenn with convenient parking, pleasant outdoor areas to walk through, and awesome shopping if you wanted to go before or after your meal. I’m super picky about pizza and MM does it right in the«lots of toppings» category. The crust is rich and flavorful. The sleeper for me was the Maui Wowie. I wouldn’t usually have picked it just reading from the menu but the ingredients blended together oh-so-well– spicy peppers and sweet pineapple. Also enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the bruschetta. Great drink selection and friendly staff.

Having been to one Mellow Mushroom before I was excited to try the Southglenn location. The location is at the end of the street with a large parking garage just to the left if there are no parking spaces available in front and across the way. From the beginning to the end of my meal the staff was extremely friendly constantly asking if I needed refills of my water and soda. I tried several of the pizzas and most enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken and Maui Wowie as I love sweet and spicy. The Maui Wowie was much better than a traditional Canadian bacon/pineapple Hawaiian with banana peppers, chicken and other delicious toppings. The dining room is large but I chose to sit on the outside patio as it was a great evening to enjoy the fresh air. I did ask and the patio is used in the winter as they have a fireplace, heat lamps and enclose it in plastic windows. The patio also has a few TVs showing live sports. Mellow Mushroom does offer gluten free crusts although I didn’t try any as my fiancée was not with me on this visit. Very delicious mellow mushroom. Keep baking a great pizza pie!

We had such a great time here! We had the bruschetta, pretzels, and several different pizzas-all were scrumdidlyumptuous(I hope I spelled that right, my spell check nearly had a seizure with that;) the service was superb, and the beers were pretty delish. Not one problem-I’ll be back(Arnold voice).

Fun evening at Centennial Mellow Mushroom. Faves were definitely the Apricot Blonde beer and the bruschetta. We also had pizza and pretzels with cheese sauce. Yeah. …you had me at cheese sauce Mellow Mushroom! :-)

I do like the pizza, and they have plenty of options for toppings to create your own, but their other options left a lot to be desired. The blue cheese on the salads looked like feta and was really week in flavor — and that is coming from my friend the Blue Cheese adict. One of the appetizers came out cold — and since it was cheese stuffed mushrooms, it really didn’t do the trick. Nothing is worse than cheese that is supposed to be all melted and yummy — and it’s rock hard and cold as ice. I tried the build your own salad once and ended up with a $ 25 Cobb salad. So don’t make the same mistake I did ACK. Take about a pricey piece of lettuce. I recommend that you stick to the pizza.

Ate the holy shitake pizza, and went home happy. That is about it. Not a fan of this location’s ambience just because it is too generic and doesn’t feel like the 16th Street Mall locale. However, the holy shiitake tastes the same… awesome!

This Mellow Mushroom has a prime spot in Southglenn, sitting right across from the Regal Theaters. There is always a steady line of families heading in. It is a fun space and it has pizza and beer, what’s not to like? To me, it is just OK. The service is fine. The quality of the food is fine. The prices are way too high. But what really kind of makes it just OK is the pizza. I think their crazy combos generally just have too many ingredients and they end up just being a hodge lodge and lose all the depth of flavor. I get that it’s just pizza, but they are obviously trying to elevate it. It doesn’t really work for me. It isn’t bad at all, it just isn’t worth the«gourmet» prices they charge. I did like the pretzel apps and they have a good variety of beer. It’s a good spot for families, for sure!

Loved the appetizer pretzels. They were hot, salty, and the cheese dip was great. We went there during happy hour and got some Odell’s. Somehow they were still $ 4 each. If that’s happy hour, don’t want to know what the regular prices were. We had the pizza and it didn’t blow me away. Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with it, but it was just kinda meh. Service was good.

You cannot go wrong at Mellow Mushroom. When we think pizza in our household — this is the go to place! Their pizzas range from your basic pepperoni to the most unique and delicious white sauce pizzas. My mom isn’t a fan of red sauce — so we always opt for a white sauce base. Last night we had the Thai Dye — always a good choice! The curry sauce on the pizza is sweet, ask for some siracha on the side and I was pleasantly content. New summer menu specials. More unique pizzas, although we went for one of the traditional choices. Split a large pizza and salad between 3 people and brought left overs to spare! Parking can be tricky at this location, although there is always space in the garage! Perfect patio for a summer evening, they also have ceiling heaters to keep it warm! Big location accommodates large parties well. Came in at 7 pm on a Saturday and had no line, actually somewhat shocking to us. Service is good, not anything to brag about, but we have never had a poor experience. Two family members are gluten free and say that they don’t love the gluten free crust here, but they do have it on the menu! We always come when they are not around, the regular crust is delicious! Ask for some honey on the side to dip at the end, mmm yum! The BBQ pizza and the ultimate veggie are also to die for, we love Mellow!

Again, I’m not a huge fan of pizza. To be clear, it always smells great and tastes great. It’s just that after I eat a meal of pizza, I’m usually over-full and the smell of it when I’m full makes me sorta kinda nauseated. That said, my little nephew wanted pizza for his celebratory lunch date with me. So, pizza it was. He chose hawaiian pizza and thought we needed a medium. Sauce was not too heavy, cheese not too greasy. Toppings were a little… on the light side. The best part about MM pizza is the crust. For two sodas and a medium pizza with two toppings, it ran me about $ 25. I think that’s kind of expensive. In other words, maybe next time I just order bread sticks and a salad.
