Food is great! This is a great place to bring your kiddos and enjoy a dinner! Family owned and operated, great business in the neighborhood.

Honestly this was the nastiest place I’ve ever been to, I am honestly surprised it’s up and running still, trinity was our server not to say she was the rudest server I have ever had in my life, but the food was tasteless food I have had, they seemed short staffed and that was ridiculous, I’ve been here a few times just to give it a shot because my kiddos like it, but I’m sickened by the way it smells, the Service was slow. And horribly ran, who ever the manager is I will be speaking with them the next time I come in about our service and ontop of that my check was off by like $ 20. I’m tired of wasting my money at this place. Pizza doodle makes cicis a star.

Restaurant is like a horrible day care facility with the owners’ kids running around wild while the parents try to run a restaurant. The food is actually quite good, but the health code issues and cleanliness are horrid! Each time we’ve been in the owners’ kids are running around in diapers, runny noses, etc. through the kitchen and on the kitchen floor and through the dining area. We went in this week and one of the owners’ daughters was running around the playroom hitting kids with snot running down her nose. The mom(our waitress) pushed her away with her leg when the daughter walked up to the mom serving us. Last time we visited they had one kid in diapers playing on the floor of the kitchen pulling on the dad’s leg while he was cooking(all within view of the cash register area). Disgusting, and I ultimately have left each time feeling terrible for their kids who are left to fend for themselves each night while the parents try to run a restaurant. Poor kids!

I brought my kiddos here for a birthday party this past Saturday. First, the positives. The pizza is pretty outstanding. We tried the gluten free crust and it is the best gluten free crust I have tried. Toppings were plentiful and it was just a really, really good pizza. Second, I love the concept. There is a playroom for the kids that is close to the dining area so you can keep an eye on things while you eat or chat with other adults. The negatives… the service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress definitely should not have been handling a birthday party with 10 or so 3 year olds plus adults. She was unfriendly to say the least. I didn’t want to say anything at the time because we were there as guests for a party but under normal circumstances, I absolutely would have asked to speak with a manager or the owner. I believe the owner did serve us a couple of the pizzas and he was polite. The party also lacked organization. The kids were all supposed to make their own pizzas but they ended up in the playroom for a good half hour before the waitress wanted to take their pizza orders. Once their orders were taken, which in my opinion was also a bit of a cluster, we had to wait for them to assemble the crust and toppings for each child and bring it to the table. Then after the kids assembled the pizzas, they took them to the kitchen to bake. Ideally, I think the kids should have had their pizza orders taken as soon as everyone had arrived and then they could have played while they were being assembled and cooked. Three year olds can only sit at the table coloring for so long. They did eventually wander back to the playroom but it just seemed haphazard and disorganized for a place that seemingly specializes in making things kid friendly. Trying to settle the bills was also kind of a cluster and took more time than I think was necessary. Also, this might just gross me out but there were some little girls who were not attending the party walking around the restaurant barefoot. That just doesn’t seem very sanitary or healthy to me but hey, to each his own I suppose. I would go back for the pizza and playroom but not for the service and I would never host one of my child’s birthday parties here. I’ll also add that if we go there again and I see the waitress who was there on Saturday in the restaurant, I will take our pizza to go.

We love Pizza Doodle! We have been in several times and always leave full and happy. My kids all enjoy making their own pizza and I enjoy the somewhat quiet moment I get when they all run off to the playroom to play! They also have a great gluten free menu and a dedicated Celiac oven so I’m never worried about if my food is actually gluten free. The owners are wonderful and always remember us when we come in, such a great family owned business! We will definitely be coming back!

Went there for lunch. The place was filthy. The owners kids were running around without their shoes through out the dining area and kitchen. The waitress was horrible. Asked what the soup was and she said«she couldn’t pronounce it, but it started with an M»(it was minestrone). We asked if she could split the bill when we finally ordered. She split the bill but she couldn’t get that right. The bathrooms were filthy, smelled like cigarettes. Only reason I’m giving them two stars is that the pizza was decent. This place has some potential, but they literally need to clean up the place, and have a server that can pronounce the items on the menu…

Ordered carry out. I feel like It would’ve been a very different experience had we eaten in-house. The restaurant has a day-care vibe to it. The pizza was GREAT though. They were really generous with their toppings, none of that one-sausage-crumble-per-slice nonsense, and the soy-cheese option(girlfriend can’t have dairy) was one of the best ones we’ve had. Friendly staff and reasonable price.

My family and I recently visited Pizza Doodle after trick or treat street across University. We had originally planned on visiting Mellow Mushroom, but based on the fact that they were on an hour wait, decided to load everyone up and head over. We had arrived and it was clearly a busy night, but when we arrived about 1⁄3 of the tables were open, and when we left 2 hours later, about ½ or more of the tables were open. While we liked the fact that they had a kid’s play area which is nice and confined and was fairly well equipped, here were the issues we experienced. Mind you, this is my first Unilocal review I’ve done: 1) It took us over 2 hours to get in and out, with no wait. Kind of challenging with 32 year olds with very short attention spans. Could have been 2.5 or 3 hours, 2 hours is being generous. 2) Our pizza and salad order took over 45 minutes(probably close to an hour) from the time we ordered to the time it arrived. 3) The service staff consisted of the owner — a polite yet stoic individual who was doing the job, but really didn’t seem to care that we were clearly challenged — and a team of eager, yet very junior wait staff whose average age seemed to be 18, with very little experience and clearly lacked the ability to handle larger parties like ours(10). 4) Most of the arcade games there with the exception of those that have little to no entertainment value are off or broken, and some are used it looks like for overhead storage. I am not certain why they have them in the first place. 5) The pizza and salad ordered were very good. In fact, the salad was one of the better ones I’ve had at a pizzeria. Good ingredients, healthy portion, and good flavor. The pizza was the same. As was the appetizers! If you don’t care about service at all, I doubt you will be disappointed with the food anyway. I understand that this establishment might be under new management and that it has gone downhill in the past from the word on the street and talk amongst the local moms who frequent kids-centric focused places like this one. It’s just ashame as the concept is a good one and I tend to favor small«mom and pop» businesses like this one over the larger chains, provided they are well executed and don’t skimp on hiring staff like this place likely has done. I doubt any of our party(3 families) will ever return, unless things turn around again somehow.

The concept of this place is really cool on paper. Basic Italian fair and a number of things for children to do including a play room. The play room was pretty smelly and the toys were disgusting. The server was about 12 and forgot most of our order and what we asked for throughout our stay. The pizza was insanely greasy and barely cooked through. It is the type of place worn out tired parents come to dump their kids into the play room and drink cheap wine and overload themselves on carbs to escape parenthood. Was not a very good experience.

Really wasn’t impressed. The garlic knots were still doughy in the middle. The kids area is an absolute mess. And the table next to us ordered vegan cheese because of an allergy(which is extra) and ended up with a pizza with regular cheese. Also the booth seat kept coming off and tipping on me. Won’t be returning, which really stinks because I loved the idea of a kid friendly restaurant. I will say our waitress Bayley was an absolute delight. She was very attentive, kind and we never waited on a refill.

I had a big craving for pizza and had driven past this place many times before and wanted to check it out. I went in there around 11:30 and I didn’t see anyone sitting at any of the tables(it has a surprisingly large amount of tables) then some young girls starting making laps around one of the pillars in the restaurant, they almost crashed into me a few times. It was about 10 minutes before I saw any employees. I finally found someone to take my order, but she wasn’t very welcoming and had to put some cups away before she helped me. I ordered a small plain cheese pizza to go and while it was being made I stood around looking at the numerous arcade games. Soon the husband came out and the wife started yelling at him to make my pizza. Then a toddler(I assume was their daughter) came out of the kitchen she stared at me and then proceeded to pull her dress up and show me that she wasn’t wearing underwear. She then went to go play in the playroom — with no underwear. I started looking around the kitchen and saw a toddler potty sitting 10 feet from where my food was being made with number 1 and number 2 inside. It was DISGUSTING. I can’t imagine how many health codes that violates and I quickly turned around trying to unsee it. That little girl with no underwear was playing in the playroom right after she did her business in the kitchen. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. I couldn’t eat much after seeing the toddler potty in the kitchen. Needless to say I will not be returning here and I sincerely hope they keep a tighter leash on their daughter.

Best GF pizza and chicken wings in town at this restaurant! My daughter and I are super sensitive celiacs and had absolutely no issues with this restaurant. They obviously pay close attention to cross-contamination issues as they have a separate gluten free oven. My son is not gf and really enjoyed their regular pizza and wings. Kudos to this restaurant for pulling off an excellent place for celiacs to dine. Service was excellent. Very kid– friendly – but almost too kid friendly for a couple and older kids to dine. Wish they could have sat us away from the playroom and the multitude of babies. However, would still go back.

If you have young kids, this is a good place to visit as there is a good playroom stocked with a variety of toys for them to enjoy while you wait for your food. There is a lot of items of the menu, but I have only ever ordered a salad and pepperoni pizza(both of which were good). The service is good and the prices reasonable.

Ordered 2 gluten free pizzas. Price was very expensive with 4 – 5 toppings and vegan cheese(around $ 30/ea for a 15″). Grand total for 2 pizzas and garlic bread with a small tip was over $ 70. Kind of steep. Delivery took quite a while, but to be fair, they did call to let me know they were running behind. Crust was OK, a bit over-cooked, and flavor/texture was absolutely nothing to write home about. GF garlic bread was overdone and very lackluster. However — a few of us had pretty upset stomachs later that night. Wasn’t too impressed.

This has become our go-to pizza delivery place in the few weeks since we moved into the area. The pizza is really good flavor and always hot when it gets to the door. And delivery seems to be pretty quick. What more can you ask for?

Since moving into the Southglenn area we have had great luck with PizzaDoodle delivery. We usually just put in our order in GrubHub and pay online and 30 minutes later they are at our door. It always says is will take an hour and never does! The garlic knots are decent and the pizza is a nice NY style. In fact the only thing I don’t care for is the name, but obviously that hasn’t stopped me from ordering :) Haven’t dined in, but love the delivery.

Our new favorite kid-friendly restaurant! Friendly staff, fun toy room for our 2 year old, small but good beer/wine selection(glad they had Dale’s Pale) and good food(large portions). It was our first visit, but won’t be our last. After putting a few dollars in the crane game, even the owner walked over to make sure we had won a prize.(We had) In response to other reviews, we had fast and friendly service and my husband thought the garlic knots were better than Virgillio’s. On a personal note, I haven’t listened to Christian music in years, but they did have it on quietly. Brought back some memories and was refreshing.

I was not at all impressed with this place. Met a few of my mommy friends and their kids for a lunch date here last week. We went right at opening so we were the only ones there for about an hour. The owners had two of their three daughters running around the play area with our kids, unsupervised. The oldest of the two stole a baby doll from my girlfriends daughter, who immediately became upset. When the owner(wife) came to inquire about the issue, her response was to remove the baby doll from the play area and not her children. The restaurant was under staffed overall. Once noon time rolled around and the place really picked up in business, it was really too much for a husband and wife to handle on their own, leaving tables neglected in service. I will not be returning.

The service is very slow and the appetizers look different then the last time we were here. When we asked questions about getting food out, the responses were canned and patronizing from the owner.
