Very good Chinese food! Taste authentic and fresh. The chicken actually tastes like chicken. The brown sauce is good and the wings were good also. Not full of grease. Good lunch portions. Very clean inside.

I am not a fan of chinese food, but my husband begged me to get it one night. We found Panda Garden on Unilocal, and it was the best Chinese food that I have ever had! So fresh and well made! The dumplings were delicious and the sesame chicken was my favorite. Can’t wait to eat there again!

Very satisfying meals, epecially the lunch special, for $ 6.00, worth every penny! My regular there is chicken with broccoli accompanied with pork fried rice. Food is served very quick. One of my favorite chinese food places on Long Island.

Absolutely delicious… I come all the way from Coram for their food… they are the only Chinese restaurant that makes Coconut Chicken… and the serving is enough for 3 meals… and their fried cheese wontons… perfecto.

Very good Chinese food! The only place in the area I will go to. The food is fresh and delicious and staff is friendly. They use white meat chicken in their dishes such as sesame chicken, general Tsao’s etc etc. best Chinese good around. Give it a try!

I’ve lived in the stony brook area for 9 years. This place is one of the better Chinese take out places. I say this because they maintain the same ingredients original to the dishes. Two of My all time favorites from this place are the Singapore Mei Fan(spicy curry noodles with shrimp, roast pork, pork and chicken), and the Beef Chow Fun(dried). This place does not try to throw in a bunch of fillers — bok Choy or Chinese cabbage stems into the stir fry. The flavors are pretty good for a take out joint.

This bar none is the best chinese take out anywhere. You get plenty of food, hot and always big portions. In the shrimp friend rice and lomein you get plent of nice size shrimp. The egg rolls are full size something you never see anymoore in any other take out or buffett. free delivery and fast service along with being able to place an order online at . If you have not tried it you are missing out on a good experience. NEVER cold food even when delivered. It has a small dine in area if you want to eat there. The place is clean and all health codes are in force. Owners work on the premises along side staff making sure all is what you expect. The price is same as other takes outs but the quanity of food and taste is awesome. I order in every week and cant get enough.

This has to be one of my all time Chinese takeout. The hot and sour soup is the best, spicy like it should be. Quick service, good variety. Try the online ordering. It’s really easy and quick. For pickup or delivery. Pay online or in person. It really is fantastic. More places should do this.

This is my go-to Chinese food place. Inside is damn near spotless. They are always friendly. I always order my food and pick it up and they now have online ordering which is convenient because you can do substitutions. I can honestly say that they have never once messed up in order in the hundreds of times I have eaten here. Our favorite is the sesame chicken which is always white meat chicken. We got hooked on the sesame shrimp for a while until I realized the shrimp were not deveined and that grossed me out so we went back to the chicken. You can order brown rice instead of white for like 40 cents which is nice because white rice doesn’t do it for me. Our favorites include all the classics, egg foo young, lo mein, fried rice, all the ‘fast-food’ style Chinese. The only thing I don’t really recommend is their egg drop soup, it is always really thick and very bright almost neon yellow. Their wonton soup is fine but they put too much cornstarch in the egg drop. For you late eaters, they close at 10:00pm.

Considering how scary takeout Chinese could be, this place is really great. I’ve never had an issue. I order online, you can even put in a special request(like a substitution) and they will accommodate. Delivery is quick, usually 35 – 40 mins. If you want to pick it up it’s usually only a 10 minute wait. The glory of this place is that it’s so consistent and some of the freshest takeout Chinese I’ve had. You can see them cooking if you go inside. The fried rice is yellow rice with vegetable and pork pieces but that’s only because that’s easier to make, I would think. It’s still tasty, regardless. The combinations are cheap, around $ 7, and come with a lot of food! I eat half of it and I’m full. You also get an egg roll with your combination. Pretty ideal for lunchtime but this is all day long! I normally get it for dinner. Panda Garden has changed my opinion of takeout Chinese and I won’t eat it anywhere else but here.

This place isn’t very good at all. The fried rice is yellow, and not deliciously brown and eggy like fried rice should be. The fried cheese wontons were pretty good. Very very thin crust. I had the sweet and sour chicken, and it basically tasted like chicken dipped in some gelatinous cherry sauce. I’m still on the hunt for good chinese food in the area.

I would say that Panda Garden deserves about a 3.5÷5. As others have said before, the food is ok, but nothing special. What pushed Panda Garden from a 3 to a 4 was that they obviously use real meat, not overly processed, formed animal-byproduct slurry. The restaurant has limited seating. Everything seems fairly clean, but there are many boxes sitting in the open; everything would look nicer if the area were organized a bit better. Prices are competitive, maybe slightly cheaper than average. My one gripe with the order is that I specifically asked for extra spicy and the heat was lacking. I think the cook just put a dash of red pepper flakes. Overall, you could do worse for generic American-Chinese food, but I think there is at least one better option in the area.
