I do not recommend this restaurant the service is real bad. Not once did a waitress come to see how we were doing. The owner talked to everyone and asked them if they were doing ok, except for us. The service sucked!

The girl didn’t give us our drink right a way. I was telling my friend to help with the drink the girl was like oh no I was given you the drink before the pizza. I wasn’t even talking to her. t friend and I came to get food and didn’t came to be share at. I’m 27 in half year old. I don’t need to treated no respect just because you never see an Asain before. Don’t mean you can be rude.

Really wish I had a better opinion about Frantones. I used to always go to the Frantones located inside Cerritos college. I was in the area and figured I would get something to eat. I ordered the pasta salad and that came with a side order of garlic bread. First of all, the garlic bread was a bit on the oily side, more oil than I’m used to. Second of all, the pasta salad tastes really bland. :(not to mention found a few hard older pepperchinis that were not edible. I’m sorry but really $ 8 for a pasta salad. Nope I’m not coming here again.

I have tried this place 3 times. I don’t think they have fresh garlic anywhere in this place. Doesn’t seem like a true Italian place. Garlic & Cheese bread are real let downs. The pizza crust was sooo bland. I even told my husband i was going to make some quick garlic butter for the crust to dip. I did slice some garlic and put it on the pizza because they don’t offer fresh garlic. I make better Italian food then this place and I’m not Italian in the least. The prices are a few buck cheaper then Oliver Garden. The staff are super friendly though and that is probably the only reason I will be going back.

First time in a long time. Should’ve known better than to think it got better. So we got the trio combo: lasagna, sausage ravioli(cost extra) n fettuccine. Food was ready in 10min. Received regular ravioli instead of sausage ravioli. Service was like molasses. Asked for check twice. Soooo not coming back.

I’ve tried a few other pasta dishes(lasagna, spaghetti etc). I really don’t remember if they were good or just okay. But I can say the fettuccine is kinda bland but I still eat it anyway, my BF seems to like it so we always order it along with the pizza. Now the four stars is for the pizza alone. Personally, I looooove their pizza! I also really like the ambience/décor of the place, very homey. The waitresses are usually very nice and come by often to check on how you’re liking the food and if you need anything.

Unfortunately I have to give at least one star to make a review. This is not an Italian restaurant. Everything’s is bland, kitchen has no motivation to present anything with flavor. McDonald’s that sells prospered food is 20 times better than this fake Italian restaurant. Food seems to be reheated and old. What a shame. Definitely not your money’s worth.

Came in for lunch with the kids. Very nice staff, big restaurant, good for groups and kids. I had the baked lasagna with meat sauce. It was good, with lots of sauce. The kids shared a plate of fettuccini Alfredo and enjoyed it with lots of garlic bread. Our waitress brought a plate of «dough balls» at the end, the kids loved these sugar covered treats :) Overall, a decent lunch with pretty generous portions.

Place was nice but threw me off a little. Why do I have to order my food at the front counter which will be brought to me later and my drinks I order at my table whenever my waiter gets there, which is when she brings my food. Anyhow, the food was very meh. My salad was fine. $ 16.75 for imported brew is kind of insane, especially when I’m already paying $ 13.50 for fettuccini. The Alfredo was bland as hell and tasted like generic jar sauce poured onto some noodles. The chicken tasted funny but it may have been the seasoning or lack boyfriend orde the spinach and cheese ravioli with meatballs… it was okay as well. Again, it was like 4 jumbo raviolis on a plate with a big meatball in sauce on the side and yes, it all tasted store bought.

This restaurant is right across the street from the hospital I have my clinical rounds at. We always come here during our lunch break with a group of 12 and they don’t charge us gratuity. Decent prices and you have to order up front first and you pay after you’re done eating. Very weird but that’s how that works here! The waitresses are very friendly and they give good service! Portions are very very big so you might wanna share with another person or you can bring the rest home for left overs!

They serve great pizza and other Italian goodies. They have great antipasto salads. The place is a bit dark and old school with old pacman machines. But they make great pie at a very good price.

Ok service was top-notch and exceptionally sweet. Great glass of wine. Huge tasty meatballs and the little dough puffs they give you for dessert… SOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious!!! We will be back for sure!!! The only reason for the 4 stars is the salad… just lettuce and croutons… If they added some sliced onion, peppers and a little cheese it would be perfect. Happy customers!!!

Man I missed this place ! I moved from Downey and didn’t know there was a Frantones close to me in Cerritos. We hit it yesterday — great prices, huge portions, great service, great food, great time ! Just like it’s been since we used to go in the seventies! The kids can’t wait to go back ! Big props to our server, Adeline .She made it a very warm pleasurable experience — just like you could expect from an Italian joint in the seventies ;-)

Fist of let’s start by me saying that, I should of waited an hour outside Olive Garden for an hour instead of eating at this place. The food was awful, I’m never going there again. If it was up to me I would give it 0 stars but it deserves 1 because of the waitress who was nice. The food taste like reheated costco food. I ordered the spegetti with meatballs, and as soon as I tasted it I could tell it wasn’t freshly made. I couldn’t be ungrateful and tell my sister that it tasted like shit but even she didn’t like it. Besides that I’m not going to sit here and keep on going, the place was nice, and the waitress was nice that’s it.

I tried to like this place. I tried to enjoy the meal but damn I wasn’t able to. Here is why: — salad was drenched in dressing. dressing to salad ratio is way way off. — tried pasta combination. No flavor! Not on the tomato sauce not on the fettuccine. — mom ordered a turkey sandwhich bread was hard and cold and the side of clam chowder looked like mash potatoes. So gross and you can tell it was reheated over and over again. — spaghetti with meatballs means one meatball. Sorry not even your free sugar bread can save this place.

I came for my daughters cheer banquet, and the atmosphere was nice but the food was so so, not bad but wasn’t to die for either. However it is a place I would visit again for a second chance.

Pretty decent place near Cerritos College. Every now and then I’ll have some pizza or whatever at this Frantone’s. They do have special of the day at great price. It’s what I usually get. Food: Not bad. Visit #1, I tried their spaghetti with meatball and side salad. It was good, but could be a lot better. Visit #2, I had the pizza. It was a lot better than the spaghetti. Service: I’ll say it’s average. They can be slow if they want to. I can understand it’s not a fancy restaurant. So, nothing to complain about. Prices: Not that too expensive at all. Bottom line: If you’re an college student at Cerritos College, do not get anything at the on-campus Frantone’s. It’s not good at all. 4 stars for this Frantone’s.

This was a good lunch spot! I’d been craving spaghetti & meatballs and saw this place was less than a mile from my work, so I headed over. Order food at a counter, seat yourself. A waitress will get your drink order and bring your food, check on you throughout your meal, but then you will pay at a register. I ordered a ½ order of spaghetti & meatballs. I was given a choice of soup or salad, I chose chicken noodle soup. The soup was a good portion and quite flavorful. I would come back here for soup again when the weather cools down. My pasta was a massive portion! I wonder how big a full size is? The sauce was alright, the meatball was pretty good. It fulfilled my craving. It was also big enough that I took half to go and had it for lunch the next day. The pasta was also served with two pieces of garlic bread. After the meal they brought me a plate of fried dough covered in sugar. I got that to go and shared with my coworkers, pretty good little dessert. The bill was under $ 12 for my meal and drink. I will definitely be back here, it was dark and air conditioned and a nice place to go to get away from my office for a bit.
