Great service. Free wifi. Awesome drinks. Tasty food and cheap prices. Tried to haggle prices but it didnt work, even with my amplified Asian persuasion skills. Come check them out August 18th though for their official grand opening! 50% off all items from noon-9PM.

Sooooo … what’s with all the filtered reviews? Weird. I guess this also used to be a Tapioca Express, which is what I was looking for until I realized they’re no longer around and Kaffeibilitea is in there instead. Anyway, standard Cerritos-area boba stop. My drink was well-made(chocolate milk tea) and had the proportion of tea to milk that I prefer. And the dude who served it up was about as pleasant as can be. The one negative? Kinda expensive! Considering everyone else is selling the same thing for $ 3 or less, it was a little weird to come in here and be charged $ 4.25 for a drink w/boba. And then another 50 cents to use a card, for a total of $ 4.75. What is this, Starbucks? Too bad. Like I said, the employees seem super cool, and their drinks are tasty. But to pay almost $ 5 in Cerritos? No way. I accept that in say, Portland, since there’s no other choice. But in Cerritos? Not happening.

I’ve been going to this place through its transition from Tapioca Express, to Boba Stop, to Kaffeibilitea, and I’m a bit disappointed. They redid the menu & it looks a lot messier now and the price of most drinks rose. The new store owner is nice, but I’d rather prefer the old store owner. Employes are still nice, location is still the most convenient from my house, a lot of new food items were added, stamp card changed from 10 to 7 stamps, and I’d still rather go here than Boba Loca because BL is just too ridiculously expensive… but I think I’ll be going more to dolphin bay now. a little farther but similar prices but tastier stuff.

I totally forgot that Formosan closes on Tuesday… and I was really craving a boba milk tea from them. I looked around and saw KaFFeibiliTea… the strangest, most bizarre boba shop name I have heard in the last decade. It replaced the Lollicup that used to be there… I figure, it’s probably the same owner with a name change to save some money on the franchise fee. Cut to the chase, the boba milk tea was not worth the $ 2.75. For 25 more cents, I could’ve gone to Dolphin Bay and gotten 2 milk teas… but I didn’t. Jokes on me. Well, I did almost want to walk back out as soon as I saw the price tags on the drink. Every drink was at least $ 3ish. This place definitely did not care about its competitions… there’s a boba shop almost every corner of Cerritos/Artesia… Did I want to shell out my precious earned cash on this place? But curiosity got the best of me. Afterall, there was a guy sitting in the shop already, probably because of the free wifi. They offer a special everyday: Mon through Wed: buy one drink get the second one 50% off. And the rest of the week, if you purchase a drink before 2pm, you can come back later in the evening to get a 2nd drink for 50% off. I also noticed they have a karaōke night on Wednesday. Anyone knows what that’s about? I’m asking because I won’t be coming back to find out. I should’ve just gone to Tea Station down the street.

There is no shortage of boba places in the Cypress, Cerritos area, but what most of those stores do lack, is crystal jelly! Not a fan of the chewy tapioca, but rather enjoy the soft, yet firm bite of the flavorless gelatin that I order with my tea! Their black tea is also great here. A nice smooth roasted flavor. Stamp card only requires 7 stamps, and they have a happy hour from 5 – 7 pm on weekdays. Oh and check in on Facebook or post a picture on instagram, and they’ll give you 10% off all day!

BOBASTOPSHUTDOWN?! …was my first reaction when I discovered the store’s name was changed to KaFFeibili Tea. My boyfriend and I were shocked and sad to discover they were no longer in business. However, KaFFeibili Tea carries on the good boba and great service! We were hesitant at first, but I’m pleased to say that we were satisfied with our drinks :). What we tried: 1. Honey black tea — Their black tea is soo good! Super roasted flavor. 2. Honey lemon green tea — Perfect for a hot day. Not too sour, not too sweet. ADD-ONS: THEYSTILLHAVECRYSTALJELLY. Most people don’t know what this is. It’s a clear, almost flavorless jelly that’s extremely refreshing when combined with tea drinks. Difficult to find anywhere except for Taiwanese-owned boba stores. It’s a must-try. NOTE: The guy working told us they have happy hour Monday-Thursday 5−7pm(buy one, get one 50% off) and 10% off if you check in on Facebook!

Came here for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! I got a «True Loves first Kiss» with boba and it was made just right. It kind of tastes like the coconut crush at Cha 4 tea but without the strong sweet coconut flavor and without the Cha 4 tea price. The Chicken adobo comes plated with rice, a fried egg, potatoes, a hard boiled egg, sliced grape tomatoes, and of course the chicken adobo. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I can’t wait to try another drink! =oD Don’t forget to Unilocal/tweet/instagram/check-in for 10% off your order!

Loved loved loved the potstickers. If you want something small and quick I say order this. Its cheap and yummy! The crispy chicken wasn’t so bad either. If you’re looking for a drink that suits the summer time then I’d definitely recommend the summer splash DAY drink. It tastes like summer. Also if you have very sensitive taste buds they will make your drink the way you like it, and if you don’t they’ll keep trying until it’s right! I also tried the pad see ew and it was really good and the serving size was good enough to food 2 people. It was bomb dot com. Overall I would totally recommend this place since it’s cheap and the food is amazingly delicious.

My rating is based purely on service, not on their menu. I wanted to like this place but it’s hard to rate it when I couldn’t even get my order. I was next in line after waiting 10 minutes. and a family friend cut me. I was mad, but still thirsty so I waited another 5 minutes. Then, another customer cut me. At this point I’m on edge. You would think they’d want to make a good impression on a potential loyal customer, right? But the girl ordered fast so I stayed in line. I finally ordered my drink. But then the first lady that cut me off did it again! She was complaining to the cashier about not getting enough stamps or something. I walked out. My friend stayed to support them but says that their caramel tea was so strong it tasted sour. I’ll visit again in a couple months once they work out their kinks. because I’d really like to actually try a drink.
