I came back 6 days later because this place is delicious and because the service was great. As a district manager I know the challenge of having a top producing location while keeping the environment and culture fun. This place has it. Love it. 5⁄5 stars. I hope your numbers are being met every month :)

Always a safe bet to go to pieology if you want a quick fix of pizza. Food was good, seating and parking was awful.

Great new addition to the Cerritos Towne Centre! Service was great and I love the selections. Even though Subway kinda started it off, most people will compared these ‘make your own’ places to Chipotle. Regardless, it’s a great concept to let people customize their food. One pizza is usually enough for my fiancé and I to share. Parking and seating isn’t a problem.

Love the concept. The crust is thin and crispy which is the way I like it. Lots of choices for toppings and sauce too. Just wish they have more offerings for side orders. Also, fix that AC! It was broken when we were there and it was HOT!

Ok this is our 2nd time here, and this time they knocked it out of the park with service, cleanliness, and quality. The pizzas were spot on. Great job today.

Pieology is always one of the best pizza places in my opinion. The toppings are great and the pizza is amazing. The 3 stars is for the lack of service. Both times I came here, the employees seem lackadaisical and I became unnoticed at the register for 10 mins. The line should move fluidly with the person making the pizza waiting on you not the other way around(me waiting for them) including the register. Everyone seems lost and the flow is very slow. This place is delicious, but I hope you can patiently wait for your pizza.

I thought I would give them another try. they are the slowest employees. EVER!!! There is one guy that seems to know how to muli-task JASH he doesn’t just stand there while there are other things to do and people to take care of The rest are slow are don’t know how to. So that one guy Jash. Gets a 5 star from me but the rest really need to step up.

So, I’ll preface this by saying that I’m a Pieology pro. I came on Monday around 12:15. It’s Pi day, so they had a Pie Life special going on. The line was to the door, and the line was literally at a standstill. Everybody was pretty nice, except for the shift leader who was working both cash and the oven. She had a bit of an attitude, and was really rude to a person on the phone. The portioning was HORRIFIC though. Like, I’m pretty sure I got at least five ounces of cheese on my pizza, the ingredients were just thrown on top without any concerns about bite integrity. The toppings were just piled in the center, which was really disappointing. I love Pieology, and would hate to see this store fail because of improper training and execution.

I LOVETHINCRUSTPIZZA. So I may be a bit biased in my review. I have been to other pieology locations, and honestly, I don’t think the Cerritos one is the best, but it is my favorite place to get pizza in the area. The workers are nice enough and I have noticed that they’re becoming more efficient compared to when the location first opened up. The seating a good amount of seating and one large cafeteria style table. There are some separate tables too, if communal eating isn’t your style. It’s nice because you get unlimited toppings for under $ 9. Dominoes, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc. make you pay for more than 2 :(It’s super customizable because you can see the workers making the pizza right in front of you, Chipotle style. So much variety in veggies and meats! Good luck choosing! Or, just get them all :~) There are also options for people that are lactose intolerant(wheat crust and vegan mozzarella) so that’s always a plus! Located right across Macaroni Grill, you shouldn’t have trouble finding parking.

I’ve been to Pieology before but at a different location. This one is more convenient for me! Lined moved pretty slow but I had a friend with me so we just talked while we waited. The customer service was excellent. They were nice! The food was bomb, of course. Will be back again! :)

Absolutely blown away by the delicious pizzas and wonderful service. Special Thanks to the shift leader Cristina for taking the time to explain how everything works.

Go through the entrance on the right side and take a look at the menu as it’s only right there and not where you start instructing what kind of pizza you want to the pizza chefs. But if you happen to miss the menu, just start customizing and the pizza chef will help guide you. I’m a fan of loading whatever I want on that pizza and it tastes so good! White crust Garlic herb butter Artichokes Kalamata olives Garlic Pineapples Mushrooms Pepperoni Sausage Spicy Chicken Bacon Ask for a side of Ranch and you’re on your way to a party in your mouth! HOLLA!

I haven’t been to pieology in a few months, but it seems like their pizzas have gotten smaller and quality has gone down. It’s very disappointing and kind of sucks, especially since there are so many competitors these days. Customer service: 2/5, many of the workers weren’t very nice, but maybe they were all just having bad days. Pizza: Ordered the 3 cheese Alfredo pizza, but I would much rather order at Pizza Rev. You get what you pay for over there and their pizzas are bigger and much more flavorful. Here, I got about 7 pieces of chicken and spinach lol. I hate to ask for more because I don’t want to be extra, but I also don’t want to pay almost $ 9 for a circle of bread. Another big plus IMO, you don’t have to ask for them to make the breading crispy. The last time I came here, my pizza was soggy :-(So I made sure to ask for it crispy. I hate to compare, but Pizza Rev is so much more tasteful, along with great customer service.

I ate an entire pizza for dinner. But they’re small and the crust is so thin(at least that’s what I kept telling myself)! Located at the Cerritos Towne Center, Pieology is oddly not located in the food court area but over near clothing stores, across the parking lot from Wood Ranch. The woman at the counter was very nice and created my pizza as I instructed her: house red sauce, mozzarella with a bit of gorgonzola thrown in, sausage, pepperoni, olives and artichokes. I paid, took my number and sat down. Well…ALMOST sat down on a bench seat with lots of dried greasy-cheesy-yuck. I quickly sat somewhere else. In 5 minutes my pizza was brought out to me. I think the pizza is okay. The thin crust is just way too thin for my liking. By the time it cooled and I bit into the last pieces, the crust separated entirely from the toppings. So I just took a fork and ate the toppings and left the crust. Although I understand that pepperoni and sausage will be greasy, this was a REALLY greasy pizza. One of those multi-napkin«soak the grease off the top» pizzas. As I was finishing, an employee came out to the dining area on break and went to sit down on the crusty bench. She spotted the gross gunk and got a wet towel to clean it up(with a bit of scrubbing). Glad it got taken care of. Now someone please sweep the floor!

I love me some Pieology, so when I found out they were opening one up in Cerritos I was über excited. Our first visit was during their first week of opening. I didn’t expect things to be on point like the Lakewood, Fullerton, & Walnut locations that I’ve frequented since I’m sure they were still working on a few quirks. I’ve gone here numerous times since then and I’d say the one thing I’m disappointed in is the consistency of the crust. The crust is what has us coming back to and raving about Pieology to people. So I really hope that the Cerritos Pieology gets it right like their sister locations. I hate having to bite into a soft, undercooked crust! Bleh! Haven’t really had any issues with the staff. All the times we’ve gone they’ve been attentive and were great when having to make a gluten/dairy free pizza for us as well. Gloves were put on and they made sure not to share the same marinara sauce spoon. One thing to note — you are getting CUSTOMIZED pizzas folks… wait your turn patiently. I only mention this because during one of our visits, there was one rude & extremely loud customer repeating over and over how slow this pizza place was. Each pizza is made to order — so yes, there may be a wait before it’s your turn to order. Located in town center, you shouldn’t have trouble finding parking in the huge lot.

This is a new Pieology location that recently opened up within the Cerritos Towne Center. We normally frequent the Lakewood location, but it’s nice to have another outlet near us as well. This Pieology seems a bit smaller than the Lakewood location, but everything else inside looked the same as what we’re used to. But I noticed they did not have packets of parm cheese and red pepper flakes at the utensil station like the other location does. Here you have to ask for them. The staff were ok — good, not great. When I asked for a flavor blast though, the cashier looked at me confused. Also, they didn’t have the roasted red pepper flavor blast — only pesto, ranch, and bbq. The pizzas tasted the same as what we’re used to. They were tasty, fresh, and well cooked. I think with some more time this place could become just as good as the finely tuned Lakewood location. We’ll probably be back.

My first time at this Pielogy in Cerritos. I rarely come out this way but my friends wanted to go and grab some pizza. I decided to share a wheat bread pizza with vegan cheese which is two dollars more, and the house tomato sauce. You can choose your own toppings and feel free to tell them if you want just a little bit or a whole lot. :) We had some mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and some pepperoni. I liked how this style of pizza is thin crust and the cheese pretty much taste like any other type of melted goodness. I really enjoyed the pizza and I probably would come back next time. They have a lot of different soda drinks and also some tea flavored options if you don’t want carbonation.

Several months ago I visited the Pieology in Lakewood. Great pizza. In fact, I can still taste the perfect combination of fresh tomatoes, sweet slices of Canadian bacon, luscious peppers, salty olives. YUM! Sadly, Lakewood is kind of out of the way, not a place we think of first when we’re hungry for pizza so I haven’t been back. How fun to find this new location, tucked away, in Cerritos’ Towne Center. Located next to Dress Barn, around the corner from Trader Joe’s, this small pizzeria is a great edition to the ever-increasing number of affordable eateries in the neighborhood. Ample parking. Eat-in dining. Nothing fancy, just darn good very thin crust pizza. I ordered regular 12-inch crust dressed with olive oil and herbs, then topped with a variety of fresh veggies, cheeses and meats.(Only 2 choices of crust — regular or wheat.) Brick oven roasted, we took our pizza home. Shared with 3 people, it was just enough for a good lunch. Right now very helpful, friendly service is a little slow as patrons get used to the make-your-own-choices system. Well lit, clean restraurant. No outside dining. Fountain drinks.

The newest Pieology is now open in Cerritos, at the Towne Center shopping area. It is located next to Dress Barn, near Kohl’s and Macaroni Grill side of the strip mall. This location is smaller than Fullerton, and much cleaner than the Torrance location. I was very impressed that the work area was clean, and free of any cross contamination. If you have not been to these«build your own» pizza places, think Subway or Chipotle(ironically, a place I’ve never been to) where you tell the employee what you want on you pizza, from selecting the dough(wheat or white), to the sauce, to the toppings. You can add whatever you want, how much you want, or as few items as you want for $ 7.95 plus tax, and the thin crust pizza should be ready in minutes. I came here on a Tuesday after work, at the place was relatively empty at 6:15 pm. There’s plenty of parking, and plenty of tables to choose from. The downside of this visit was since the sun was setting, the sun was literally in my eyes, and the glare was reflecting off the shiny tables. You would think that the restaurant would have noticed this and invested in a film or mesh shade? It’s ironic that the location is located across the parking lot from another pizza place. Its a cheap place to eat, and 1 pizza can feed a reasonably hungry person, or 2 can share one as a light meal.
