Wow. What a cool place. Nested in the heart of UNC/Franklin Street’s bars and restaurants is an art gallery featuring local artists in many different mediums. They pride themselves on a wide range of price points– which is smart– because not everyone is willing to shell out $ 1K for an abstract painting (yes, I’m cheap).
I was here for a special event– which FRANK is happy to accommodate– so really this isn’t only an art gallery but it can also be used for corporate meetings, cocktail parties, etc. They have a movable wall system and plenty of space so keep them in mind.
I definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re in the area and want to look around. For those out of town guests– they will arrange shipping for items you may want to purchase but are concerned about transporting throughout the rest of your visit in Chapel Hill.

This gallery was great to walk around in and browse the masterpieces that I’m not capable of creating. The selection of displays was interesting and unique, nothing wrong with this place at all! The woman at the counter seemed nice and approachable, had I any questions or comments. Of course, I didn’t buy anything, but I can say it was a feast for the eyes!

Nice Looking Gallery! Bigger than it appears from the outside! I have been reading about this place and was so glad to find it yesterday!
Good looking Art! Mostly Paintings! The Piece that caught my attention most was the Cabinet (it was functional) the doors were obvious cross sections of a small tree-trunk or «fork-shaped» section! Very Nice!

FRANK is an exciting new art venue in downtown Chapel Hill. Thursday evening events are a bright spot and high quality art make it a must see.
