I really love hummus café, although I lovingly call it «falafel house» as a play on the nearby Waffle House. I eat here all the time, and my favorite thing is of course their falafels. They’re really flavorful, and they are covered in yogurt sauce with cucumbers and LITTLEPICKLES and like magic or something. So good. Definitely a must have in chapel hill.

Stopped by this little place for a quick eat before a movie at the Varsity. I don’t know how I’ve never noticed this place in all my years at Carolina, but it’s not bad! Both my BF and I tried their meat options, his a gryo and mine a lamb shwarma. One of them was a combo and came with hummus/pita as well. Both dishes were cheap and yummy. The hummus tasted fresh to me. BTW I’m noticing mixed reviews for this place, and it seems the lower reviews are for their non-meat options.
