This is one of the best finds of my life. Simply lucked out. Was taking a walk and passed this little place that had a simple sign that said handrolled or handmade cigars.(Or something like that) I bought a few cigars and was surprised how great they were. Not being from the area, I only had the few I had bought and had to wait for close to a year to get back to Charleston and buy more. I had placed them in a humidor and lost the business card. I myself and folks I have shared them with have used words like, and including, fantastic, sweet, amazing, how do I get more and recently«stellar». I just ordered a box and it may very well be that I will primarily smoke these cigars from now on. Not saying exclusively, and, that may also be the case as my humidors empty. Well, maybe not, I do like a little variety. I will say though, that this is the first time, in my 50 some years of cigar smoking that I have even thought of having a primary cigar. LOL A friend just called and asked how he could get more cigars like the one I gave him Friday night. I will send him the info.

The first time I stopped in here to check it out I just was checking how late they were open and trying to strike a conversation but the worker was very uninterested in me. I did come back to purchase a cigar and again he wasn’t very friendly but not rude either. Didn’t say much to me at all and was unimpressed by his lack of effort to gain my return business. I did enjoy my Connecticut Ecuador Robusto. It was a good quality cigar for $ 7 that doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth hours later! I would buy more from here again next time I’m in town.

I am fascinated with cigars although I am not a smoker. I was SOOO excited to come here. I purchased a few for myself and a few for my grandfather and father. The owner was very nice and I love how they make the cigars themselves. Keep up the great work! See you next time!

They just shipped me 80 of my favourite hand-rolled cigars to my hotel in Nashville. Even with the brutal Canadian exchange they were still far cheaper than any decent quality cigars you could get in Halifax, NS. I prefer this style of cigar(on the milder side), but either way you prefer it you can’t beat hand-rolled. Highly recommended, can’t wait to do business with them again!

If you ask me, this place is the true hidden gem of the city! Fresh, hand rolled, right in front of your face, cigars. I found Lianos Dos Palmas as I was fairly new to Charleston and was just walking around getting my barring’s. The people here are super friendly and extremely educated on their craft. I’ve been smoking cigars now for a little over 10 years and these are THE very best I’ve had by far. You can keep your mail order cigars or your overpriced shop down on Meeting. I’ll go out of my way to go to Lianos Dos Palmas any day. If you’re in the area and looking for a good smoke. Give these guys a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Some of the best cigars I’ve smoked in 20 years. Keep up the good work. Don’t miss this quaint little cigar factory when your in Charleston. Just wish you had a smoking lounge.

Rode the motorcycles down to Charleston from SE North Carolina, and wanted to hit a cigar shop. We walk in and are treated to watching a man hand roll cigars, with amazing speed. The cigar boxes were not very descriptive so I just picked based on the rapper and nailed it. It was a very good cigar for the price of around 7 dollars. I will be going back next time I am in the area. Not sure if they had drinks for sale which would have made the experience a little better but also didn’t ask so that’s not on the shop.

My husband smoked the first cigar we bought soon after we left the store and it did not taste that great. However, the second cigar we had purchased was kept in his humidor for about a month and it was fantastic. You might need to let your cigar sit for a while before you can get the most enjoyment from it.

I like a good cigar and was anxious to try some hand rolled local product. We stopped in to this small shop and immediately saw the roller busy at his craft. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be in the friendly, engaging mode. Perhaps we were there too close to closing time that we were maybe just a nuisance. Undeterred, I asked some questions only to receive curt responses. Ok, I’ll just choose myself and take a shot at my luck. Well, it didn’t turn out so well. I got a selection of robustos and my opinion is that these aren’t very good. They aren’t rolled very tight and despite their immaculate appearance, the loose roll really compromises the smoke. They burn fast and without much depth of flavor. Both the habano and maduro wrapped versions had the same issue. Not very flavorful and not at all impressive. If you like mild cigars you might find these tolerable at best. Me? I prefer something with a little flavor. These had none. And at $ 7 a stick for robustos I expected so much more.

Matt was absolutely incredible! He fulfilled my curiosity by answering all of my many questions. He was so attentive to my friends and explained the process of hand-rolling. A great experience — whether you smoke or not!

After a big meal at Jestine’s, I followed with a Lianos stogie. Went with the Dominican wrapper in a mini-torpedo shape — great afternoon smoke. Well constructed, nice wrapper, good burn. A very pleasant smoke. I brought a couple home and look forward to trying those out after a couple weeks sitting in my humidor. Nice store, worth a visit for a quality, locally hand-rolled stick.

The most amazing selection of all fresh-made, hand-rolled cigars. Personalized service, friendly staff. The cigars are so tightly rolled they last double the usual smoking time.

How cool is it to actually see the people rolling the cigars? Pretty flippin’ cool! The owner, Mariana, was super nice and smoked a big cigar while walking around the shop. They’ve been there for 7 years now, but today was my first time there. I got the Holiday Cigar, which has a «candy striped» wrapper, filled with Cuban seed. Nice long draw to it, mild nutty flavor with earthy tones, and loooooooong ashes. They have tons of different styles there, all made in the store. Prices are a little higher, but lets be honest, it’s worth it. If you are serious about cigars or even a little curious, this is the place to go. Especially when it’s all local!
