Food is average. Disappointing that the food is overpriced for the portion sizes and mediocre cuisine. Defiantly a tourism restaurant not a place year around residents might gather.

Service was great!
Lobster dip was cold. Chicken pesto sandwich… chicken was pretty rubbery.
Lobster mac was ok, lobster was very minimal and cold. Atmosphere and food didn’t match.

Menu is very casual. Burgers, sandwiches a few entrees. White fish not great, salmon was good. Took an hour to receive dinner once it was ordered. James was very helpful. Food is very herbed and spiced. Probably won’t rush back.

Basic bar food. Nothing special. First time i stopped in since the renaming, etc. The waitress was friendly. No complaints on service. Perhaps she waited until happy hour ended. The salad was good. Burgers were burnt. Spicy burger was a burnt burger with 4 tiny pickle slices on it. Fries ok. Will not return; so many choices in the area for better food.

Wow. The food is GREAT. Had the pork shanks for appetizer, mushroom burger, bayou burger, pizza for the entrees.
Was very pleasantly surprised at the flavor of the burgers, nice spice in the bbq sauce, great texture. The pizza was a true surprise — great herb flavor with wonderful crispy and chewy crust.
Finished with the fried pretzel balls and ice cream. Again, great combination.
Highly recommend this place after a hard day walking, at the beach or on the golf course.

The salmon burger is delicious… Made from fresh salmon none of the canned stuff.
The place has been totally redone and looks great.
I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

New York, NY
We are from New York and came to the quaint town for a reprieve from the city. We were delighted to find this gem on the outskirts of the town. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. The prices were reasonable compared to New York standards. Our waitress Brittany was a delight and knowledgeable about the menu. We would definitely come here again when in town.

We had a booth for four people, the service was good, the meals we had were also very good, the only criticism we would have is that when we wanted Ketchup for our fries they would give you extremely small cup with two squirts. Four people ended up asking for nine different cups so we could have Ketchup on our burgers and fries.
Very poor selection of wines!

AMAZING! Great taste combos on unique menu but had kids menu to please them (thank you) too. THIS IS A NEW MUST STOP AND TRY SPOT IN CHARLEVOIX! Thanks to the staff for finishing our long day GREAT! We will be back for a game or two in the Pub soon!

Had dinner here with a group of 8 on Friday evening. We were able to get right in and had a great experience overall. We had a couple of different kinds of pizza, a burger, and the Pasta Bolognese, All were good. They are able to seat larger parties, so this will be a good option for busy Charlevoix weekends. We will be back!

Great meal ! Enjoyed the creative salads, margherita pizza and pasta bolognese. Friend ordered the burger along with deep fried mushrooms as side. Will definitely go back soon !

My wife and I stopped in here while spending a few days in Charleviox. Nothing to write home about. First off, how do you call yourself a roadhouse and only have 4 beers on tap? I ordered the tropical habenero wings. Great taste, poor value. 6 tiny wings for 9 bucks? Not impressed. My wife ordered the chicken pesto pizza. Big thumbs down. The chicken literally tasted like rubber. Also, having silverware and napkins on the table would have been helpful. The décor looked great but the menu was WEAK. Would not go back.

Charlevoix, MI
New restaurant in Charlevoix, completely remodeled and great menu. All your traditional favorites with a new twist. Good family place nice enclosed porch to keep the noise level down. Friendly staff and for being open so soon the kitchen is doing well. Everything we ordered was well prepared, fresh good quality, try tomato blue chefs soup, apple cider salad with candied oranges, pickled onions and toasted pecans all on baby greens or their sweet potato fries. My only suggestion would be add some local beers, there are too many good ones. Will definitely return with friends.

They are new. Seems like a burger, pizza place with some higher end items. Our crew enjoyed the burgers and the shrimp appetizer although it was over cooked. The pizza was unremarkable. The steak was over priced for what it was. Café Santé in Boyne City has several great steaks for a lot less money. The wine list is, at best, grim if you are a wine person. Nothing on vintages, areas, etc. We had a bottle from Burgundy that wasn’t enjoyable preceded by a poor Chardonnay by the glass. I think if you want a nice burger and a beer this is a great place. I am sure it will all improve. Interestingly, they have no website or Facebook page which is sad.

Great food, amazing staff, beautiful restaurant! I had the sirloin steak the first time and it was fabulous and the truffle fries are a must! The second time we had pizza and the chicken pesto pizza is excellent especially along with the huge variety of wine. The service is great and this is an excellent addition to the Charlevoix area!

We went with a large group the first week they opened. Sometimes you expect new places to be working the kinks out but not here. They know what they’re doing. EVERYTHING we had was delicious. Especially enjoyed the salmon burger, truffle fries and Asian shrimp. Great bar area too. Pizza on the menu making it kid friendly as well. We will definitely be back.
