I am ALWAYS excited to come here and have a wonderful breakfast and a very exceptionable dinner. Rob is a very creative and talented chef. I’ve never been disappointed, ever!

Tried this out for lunch. Service was ok, issues getting seated but finally got sorted. The wine by the glass was good. The food was expensive and you did not get a lot of food for the money, I had tacos they were very fatty, I would not have them again my wife had the lobster salad and it was spot the lobster. All in all ok but I would not go back for lunch. We will try dinner as we have been told the dinner menus is good, well give it one more go!

Went with my wife for a late Friday lunch. The lunch crowd had cleared out so we got a great table looking out at the drawbridge which went up a couple times while we ate… saw several million dollars worth of boats pass through… but I digress! I had a burger and fries(wasn’t feeling too daring today) and my wife had portobella mozzarella sandwich(she ordered extra onions… good idea). Both were delicious. Nice ambience and great view! Highly recommended!

Meh. Typical Stafford’s – decent food; not-so-great service. Scallops were burnt, risotto was salty, but the broccolini was excellent. Ventilation was not great(kitchen was right in the bar) and we left smelling like the food. V

Excellent food and service. Scallops were fabulous, as well as the Black Cod. Went with larger group and service was great and all enjoyed. We will return

Good was OK nothing more. Nice view. Service was like the food OK but nothing special. Wife’s mussels had good flavor but lots of grit. No draft beer. Would try again. Charlevoix needs good moderate priced restaurants.

Food was okay but lacking luster. My mother and I arrived before any of the other three tables in the dead restaurant yet received our simple orders last. Potatoes were cold and took ten minutes to remake! Unacceptable.

A great new addition to the Stafford’s family of restaurants. This is in the space across the street from the Weathervane, in the Edgewater Inn. They currently serve breakfast and lunch but plan to add dinner soon. We have eaten breakfast here 3 times now, and it’s been great. Not your usual greasy spoon fare, it’s a creative menu focusing on local ingredients. The food is delicious and the service friendly. It’s a tad on the pricey side, particularly the side of bacon I ordered($ 4.50 for 2 slices!) but don’t let that stop you. Worth the trip!
