Fantasy Nails

Went to have acrylics done for the first time ever today. Completely botched my nails. I can see the sides of some of my real nails sticking out from under the acrylic (in places that should be completely covered). The woman rushed, stuck me under the dryer, and never came back to check on me or to ask how they looked. In fact, didn’t even see her again after they were done. The nail polish completely bled on the majority of my fingers, and ended up on the surrounding skin. It does not look like a professionally-​done job. Even I, myself, could have painted them much better. Very disappointed. The bad look was not worth the cheap price ($ 25+tip).

We love fantasy nails. We get our sexy toes on. The owner always laughs with us so much, she scrubs my daughters feet even harder when my daughter laughs. My feet look great for a really long time afterwards. The owner is great with eyebrows too.

By far the worst manicure I’ve ever had!!! In from Seattle and wanted to do a mani date with my niece. Made an apt for 1 for two. They did her first then me, not at the same time so we could relax and chat together. Manicures were basically a polish change and a terrible one at that… Polish everywhere but on my nail and didn’t bother to sort it. No lotion massage, barely a cuticle clean up and more than clear the tech had no training what so ever. I’d advise to save your money because this is an absolute waste. It’s not even 5 hours old and I have 4 fingers with chips. What a darn disappointment!

I am a lazy person so I hate seeking out great places, especially when I am new to town. I had to go to the UPS store anyway, so I decided to duck into here while I was in the plaza anyway.
I have never had a worse manicure in my life. First of all, she didn’t even take the previous polish all the way off (which was red) and it was clearly visible until the neutral polish I chose. I told her to do a third coat to try to cover it and it’s still visible. Second, all my nails are slanted and not straight. Third, I’ve been home for ten minutes and even though I dried my nails for the requisite amount of time, my whole right hand is already basically ruined. I spent $ 14 (only gave them a $ 2 tip because I saw right away it was terrible) for the WORST manicure of my life.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I was hoping to score a decent yet inexpensive pedicure while in town on business. Anything cheaper than the usual DC prices is a steal to me. So, my co-​worker and I were happy to find a nail salon within walking distance from our hotel, pedicure for under$ 25 (sayy whaaa!), and they were open late. Upon walking in, the salon was quiet, staff friendly, and nice massage chairs. There wasn’t anything to brag home about in terms of décor, but it was clean. The technician took his time on my toes, and my co-​worker loved her manicure. Unfortunately, my polish chipped the next day, and looks a hot mess two weeks later when I’m used to my polish lasting a month. Oh well, sometimes you get what you pay for!

Service here has definitely not been what it used to be. My nails looked worse then when I came in and I ended up having to redo them myself. The owner is an eyebrow master though!

Never got my nails done here, but boy, the lady that runs this place is a fantastic eyebrow plucker/​waxer. I have been cursed with a certain form of Asian eyebrows that conform to no shape at all hence the need for this service.
The lady that works here fixes me up every time. She doesn’t waste a lot of time plucking and when she does, somehow, it DOESN’T HURT. She is also lightening fast. On average, it takes 5 minutes.
I wish she was here in Seattle.

Not at ALL professional. They seem to have fallen off a good deal lately. I’m no longer a fan of the service i receive there, and will not return.
