Panera has a great menu. A few observations about this place– sometimes the plating is sloppy. The staff is somewhat friendly but what I despise is there’s a need for more booths. Every time I go booths are taken up quite regularly by just one person with their laptop leaving bigger parties to sit in uncomfortable wooden seats left over. Get comfier seats for everyone or ask customers who are alone not to use the booths. Assign seats if you have to please!

Even though I really love Panera Bread the staff is friendly but service here is kind of slow. Inventory seems to always be empty or something is not currently in stock.

I should have read other reviews first, then I would not have been surprised that Panera had no BREAD! When I arrived a little after 7 p.m. I learned that they were out of BAGUETTES. Certainly understandable if they had a busy day, but why couldn’t they take some of the bread from the bakery area and use that? There was a lot of bread just sitting there. Since I couldn’t get bread, I treated myself to a brownie. It was hard as a rock and completely inedible. $ 2.49 down the drain.

This used to be a favorite, but today I’m disappointed. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. The dressing is scant, but overall the salad was fine. My issue is with the baguette side — unevenly torn and less than a quarter of a loaf, and the obvious lack of custodial care in the dining area — multiple tables in need of cleaning and an overly crowded dining space(we’re talking an excessive number of chairs and tables that make even traversing through an empty dining room prohibitive).

Very clean, very friendly staff. Not too busy and the service was quick. We got our bagels toasted and they didn’t come toasted… barely warm. That’s my only complaint, but I’d come back!

I used to love, love, love Panera back in the day, but it hasn’t really impressed me lately. Panera is always pretty standard and consistent no matter which location you go to. This location was no different.

Food was good but bad customer service. I wasn’t feeling too great so I ordered something basic off of the kid’s menu. My cashier was understanding and even offered to make a note so that it would be an adult portion. However, the people making my food were practically mocking my order and giggling about it. One of the workers even appeared to be a manager. Very turned off by the lack of professionalism at this Panera, I shouldn’t have to hear the employees laughing at what I ordered while waiting for my food!

My husband and I had late lunch here yesterday. We will never return. The food was good — no complaints. The black hot tea — YUM! Perfect for a cold day outside. The cleanliness? Well … no! Someone has not cleaned the place in quite some time. The wood on the back of each bench where the head touches, GROSS! The food is dried and caked on! There are obvious bugs in the overhead lights. You can see the bug shadows in the shades overhead. The young guy came around attempting to wipe off the tables, yet when he finished you could still see smears and he did not wipe off a single seat. Crumbs everywhere. The ladies room toilets and sink were disgusting. There was a toilet cleaning brush in the corner of the handicap stall that has cob webs on it. The back of the sink has caked up grime. The place is disgustingly nasty. There were bits of toilet paper all over the floor. When placing our order, one of the clerks at the register had her scraggly looking boyfriend with a dirty ball cap on leaning over the counter then went beside the register and began to nuzzle her neck while she giggled. Please take your PDA outside or home. I have never seen a Panera Bread so nasty. Management, you need to step up and take a look around. Someone is not cleaning and someone else is not following up. And please train your staff how to behave in public!

This is a good little Panera, cleanish, decent service and the food is just like every other Panera.

This is my favorite Panera location. The staff here has always been nice and the food is great. I tend to stick to the same thing every time I go in. I get the mediteranian egg white panini and a chai or coffee.

Consistently mediocre. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a fast-casual dining experience. To the managements credit, the place is always clean and the service fast and pleasant. That said, the food is nothing to write home about. It’s the same flavorless sandwiches and disappointing salads that you’ll find at any Panera. A safe choice if you can’t decide where else to go.

Wife and I stopped here on the way to down to the UVa/Maryland game a few weeks back, opting for something healthy over the«tailgate» fare offered at Alumni Hall. I typically will give any Panera 4-stars if they deliver as expected. And this one did — salads the wife and I ordered were on-point. The service was fast and prompt, even as they were pretty busy due to all of the football game traffic. Definitely will hit this Panera again on the way down to C’ville.

I love Panera, and this location did not disappoint — I stopped in for a coffee and some wi-fi(we still haven’t got our internet set up in our condo) and the ambiance was relaxing and quiet during my afternoon visit. The staff is friendly and the patrons are families and students, which makes for a very comfortable atmosphere as well. I’ll definitely be back!
