The best eye practice in Charlottesville. The staff is awesome and the attention to detail Stephen has is simply amazing and appreciated. I come all the way from McKinney TX each year to see him and his staff.

As one other reviewer said: Quick, easy, and friendly. I was in and out in 30 minutes and received my printed glasses and contacts prescriptions. I liked that I didn’t have to specifically ask for a printout of my prescriptions. While this detail may seem trivial, certain other practices I’ve been to that also sell contacts would not hand me a printed copy of my prescription unless I asked for it. In the case of Dr. Basic’s practice, his office is attached to another store that sells glasses and contacts, so if you want to walk over there and order your glasses and/​or contacts the same day, it’s easy to do that, but there’s absolutely no pressure to do so. For me, when it comes to ordering glasses and contacts, I want to price shop a couple different places before deciding whom to give my business to, and I much prefer the experience at Dr. Basic’s practice compared to other practices that transition you directly from the exam room to their in house sales person. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Basic and I will be going back there next year.

Best eye doctors office in Charlottesville. Wonderful price for a top notch exam. I have had an exam with every Dr in the practice with in the last few years and I was never dissatisfied with any of them. The technicians are wonderful and very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

Quick, easy, and friendly. The staff was wonderful as was Dr. Basic. I arrived early and was seen early, went through the exam with no issues, got my prescription in hand, and now I can see just fine. Very reasonably priced. I will return!
