The staff is friendly the service is good but the food is really awful. The half price apps menu is half price for a reason. Total garbage. The wings were over cooked and over salted. The Chinese tacos tasted were just disgusting. Also note that they still don’t have HDTV in 2016. It’s not a place suitable for going to watch a game.

Neighborhood Applebee’s with mostly locals. I don’t usually eat here but the Perfect Margarita is always good. Comes in a shaker. Nice on a warm evening. Also known to have a good draft selection. Staff usually very friendly. People seem to enjoy themselves here. Biggest complaint is TV is in low def. Get with it local management!

I go there at least once a month and the service is good and the bar area clean for the most part; however, this past Saturday 1031⁄15 during the night for my surprise the bar area was disgusting and the drinks were not as usual.

Came here for a sporting event as this place has HD televisions outfitted all over the walls. I don’t understand how you can outfit the restaurant with 20 televisions and none of them have an HD broadcast on. When you ask one of the servers or bartenders to change over to the HD broadcast, they look at you like they have never heard of HD before and tell you they ‘don’t know how the system works’. Food and service is about what you would expect for an Applebee’s, nothing special here.

Sat at the table for 20 minutes no server came up. We put on the I need my server light in there tablet thing and still No one came up. Servers and staff walk by and other guess were helped and got food and drink and still no one came be. No one would make eyes contact and the place was not packed. The manager walked by and still nothing was said. We left the place told host that we are pissed and that no one cared what it meant to work in a restraint. I guess simple hospitality is no longer here.

Applebee’s is your standard chain, there’s no denying that. As a college student I have no problem with sub par half price appetizers after 9 and decently priced drinks. Seems like they’ve overhauled their menu lately and it does show — spinach and artichoke dip is great, and the new pot stickers are small but a good bite to eat. Can’t really complain too much. Last time I went last week was by far the best — our server, Emily D, was brutally honest and let us in on the fact that the margaritas we were interested in aren’t made with top shelf liquor and she personally didn’t like the taste/didn’t think it was worth the price they are and instead suggested the Perfect Margarita — $ 8.50 for a shaker with enough drink for two glasses full… can’t beat that! We split two of them and experimented with flavors. Food is nothing spectacular but it’s a good price(after 9!), hits the spot without breaking the bank. Gotta hand it to Emily and the margaritas she suggested; tasted great for like $ 4 a person? I loved her honesty and how she would rather happy customers than upselling products she doesn’t like herself. I would probably eat there every day if she was my server. Will definitely be back.

For the price point they do an ok job. The service is always good — friendly and courteous. The food is ok to pretty good = depending on the item) and kitchen I hate to say). Never a problem getting in and it usually has a good amount of people so they do a good job of turning over the tables.

We had a lot of errands to run and wanted to grab a quick drink for Cinco de Mayo so we stopped by Applebees in Drumhill. They have a new bar menu that features«Build your own Sampler» with share-able snacks. I was ecstatic because I love the idea of nibbling on a variety of things instead of getting one huge thing. We each got a house margarita for $ 4.99. It was way too sweet. All I could taste was sour mix. My favorite Applebees dish has got to be the riblets. I’ve always remembered them to be tender and full of flavor. I was extremely disappointed. The riblets were tough and dry and tasted like they were microwaved. The BBQ sauce was lacking and wasn’t coated evenly. The sriracha shrimp was greasy, it seemed like the fryer wasn’t hot enough and the shrimp just boiled in the oil. There was also too much sauce. The nachos was waaay too salty. I could feel the texture of the salt on the chips. Someone doused too much salt. The brisket sliders were soggy and underwhelming. The meal was terrible and I probably won’t be back. As sad as it was, the best part of the meal was the french fries.

I’ve frequented this establishment a few other times and received great service. Today was not one of those days. Tuesday at around 225 pm I enter a very dead restaurant and proceed to go to the bar. I’m alone so I choose not to bother servers. I sit down at the bar. The bartender ignores me for about 5 minutes. She looks in my general direction multiple times. Finally she let’s out a sigh and just hands me a menu. She doesn’t smile say hello or anything. Finally she asks me if I want a beer so I order a tall budlight. Things seem to progress better but her attitude is still non inviting. I receive my order of honey pepper chicken tenders. So sloppy. They are barely covered in the honey pepper sauce and most of the sauce is on my fries which makes my fries soggy. I am disappointed to say the least. I’m giving thus place one more time

I’m not usually a chain restaurant fan, especially places like Applebee’s and Chili’s. I only came here because my sister and her kids wanted to go. I haven’t been to an Applebee’s since the summer and I noticed they revamped the menu to offer«Healthy Pub Food»(chicken, salmon, or steak with«whole grains») and a whole bunch of tasty appetizers. Unlike other reviewers, I thought the service was great and the food was a lot better than the other Applebee’s I went to. FYI, we came on a holiday weekend at 1pm so the service/crowds may be worse during rush hour. BTW, I want to give a shout out to the amazing hostess. She went in back to get my nephews and niece some valentine’s day candy when we were leaving and then even offered to take a photo of us when we were trying to do it on our own. Super sweet woman!

Haven’t been to Applebees in a while and was on our way back from my daughter’s soccer game with in-laws in tow. Though it wasn’t very busy at all, it took at least 5 minutes for anybody to even acknowledge the SIX of us waiting at the empty hostess stand. Skipping ahead to the food, it took over 30 minutes to come out. Though it was Saturday at 7:30pm, it may as well have been Monday at 10pm since there weren’t many people in there. Not sure how busy the kitchen could have possibly been. When the food FINALLY came out, the waiter apologized — apparently my father-in-law’s steak had been overcooked and they were making another one that he would have to us in «4 minutes»(his words). Meanwhile, the dropped off the rest of the food with us. I had a shrimp and pasta dish and, although the bowl itself was hot, the pasta was outright cold and the shrimp/broccoli lukewarm. My wife got a pepper-crusted steak that was also just lukewarm(again on a HOT plate). In fact, the only dishes that came out ok were the chicken fingers and pizza the kids ordered(and the steak my mother-in-law got). We figured that the waiter would be back at least within that«4 minute» window but after 10 minutes of sitting there with our cold food, not only did we not see the waiter, we didn’t even see another waiter — or anybody to flag down — so we had to get the hostess. The manager finally came over and took our two dishes back to the kitchen to reheat. Anther 5 minutes and the waiter finally returned with my father-in-law’s steak(which was cooked fine the second time) and then our dishes FINALLY came back out — on the exact same plates. Apparently they just threw them into the microwave to heat them up. So we ended up with warmer food, but now it just tasted like reheated leftovers instead of the freshly-cooked food you expect from virtually any restaurant you go to. So we basically waited 45-minutes for microwaved leftovers. Awesome. Now you would think that after messing up a steak and having the manager finally get involved to bring our food back to be reheated that, at a minimum, the manager would follow up to see if we were happy or possibly even offer a complementary coffee or dessert… nope. While I generally give the waitstaff the benefit of the doubt(not an easy job) the fact that he didn’t even check after dropping off the food the first time and didn’t take it upon himself to do something good in the name of customer service — well let’s just say he dropped the ball. Also, the fact that our food showed up cold means it was ready sooner and sat under a heat lamp so that they could wait for the other food to be ready. Poor planning by either the waiter, kitchen, or both. We didn’t bother with drinks, desserts, or coffee. We just wanted to get out of there. The only redeeming fact was that my father-in-law picked up the check. Will NOT be returning — too many other good places to go(i.e. for inexpensive food, we have yet to have a bad meal or experience at the 99 Restaurant).

Went for dinner on Monday with father-in-law, wife and daughter(daughter’s choice since it was her birthday). Was a bit hesitant after reading so many negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised by quite nice dining experience. Arrived ~ 7pm and were immediately seated. Few customers when we came in but shortly afterwards a tour bus arrived which filled up much of the dining room. Waitress was cheerful and good humored and service was prompt. After 4pm on Mondays all burgers are $ 7, which is a great deal. Daughter had the Classic burger and I had the Triple Bacon. Both were large, juicy and tasty but next time I think I’ll go for the Classic. French fries were hot, crispy and very good. Father in law ordered half rack of Baby Back Ribs. They were quite good by New England standards but I’ve had Oklahoma Joe’s Ribs in Kansas City, so I was only moderately impressed. Wife had the Lemon Parmesan Shrimp. She loved the sauce but found the shrimp to be undercooked. Our waitress took them back to go on the grill for a couple more minutes and all was well. I’d rate our overall dining experience to be Very Good, and the $ 7 burgers on Monday night is a steal.

Absolutely the worst apple bees I had! Came here wed night around 9:30 pm. So slow. The server Ben is the slowest and worst server here. I see other servers in a rush. But took him 20 min to wait on our table. The food is over cooked and frys are hard and dry. Sliverware is dirty! Never coming back to this crappie place again! Hope management sees this and start straightening this B.S. I WOULDN’T RECOMMENDTHISPLACEATALL. IFTHEYHADNEGSTARS I DEFINITELYWILLGIVETHEM. ESPECIALLYYOU’REGOODOLDSERVERBEN H!

Went one Saturday evening and sat at the bar because it was packed. I noticed that there was only one bartender. Needless to say, the bar was severely understaffed – pushing the one bartender to move as fast as he could. Drinks were thrown together causing a mix of liquids as the bartenders fingers would drip into each drink he touched. YUCK! The bartender was also grabbing the back of the computer monitor to make orders from the bar. I went to speak to the manager and he casually dismissed me. Drink with caution!

We went here for dinner last night after recieving gift cards for Christmas. Went about 430. Upon walking in, there was no one to greet us. Took 3 waitresses looking at us for a couple of minutes for one of them to finally come up to us and offer a table. Took her another few minutes to «find a table» even though the place was near empty. Finally get seated. Waitress comes over and seems nice. I order a glass of red wine while my partner orders a margarita. The wine is delivered in a champagne glass and the margarita was served in a martini glass. Probably the bartenders first day on the job. Not a big deal. Skipped appetizers and ordered meals. I ordered lemon grilled shrimp over rice and my partner ordered a bacon cheeseburger and substituted onion rings for fries. 5 minutes later, no joke, 5 minutes food is ready. Huge red flag right there. No fresh made food here. Food was delivered by a different waiter with no personality and had a look on his face that he hated his job. Partners burger was okay, but they missed his onion rings and gave fries. Bummer right there. Apparently it was a cooks first day on the job as well because the one peice of red onion on the burger was about 2 inches thick. The tomato was cut at an angle where one end was super thick and the other end was paper thin. Who’s cooking the food at this place, 16 year olds? At least properly train your prep cooks on how to use a knife! My meal was one of the most pathetic«entrees» I have ever been served at a restaurant. Plain white rice, about 5 – 6 of the smallest, saddest peices of shrimp, about a quater can of crushed tomatoes and about 2 tablespoons of tastless cream sauce was their«Lemon Grilled Shrimp» dish. At least it was edible and I did eat it because I was hungry. There was simply no flavor or even seasoning on anything on my plate. I ordered a small chocolate mousse for dessert and that was good. Overall, Im glad I had a gift card and I have no idea how people can shell out hard earned money for this slop. For a $ 13.99 entrée, you shouldn’t go home hungry and I did. Will never go back.

We had dinner there on Saturday. Atmosphere & waitstaff were great. The food, however, was not very good. Chicken entrees caused gastric disturbance. Salads(barely passable) and drinks(non-alcohol). Both were overpriced. We won’t be going back to this place.
