Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn

This place is ok, room smells, got some funky smell, wife not happy, if she is not happy no ones happy. Stains r us should be the name of this place

The way this shithole’s staff conducts «business» with local companies is shameful. They have a reputation for ordering out to local food places and never giving the drivers, who sit a half hour in traffic sometimes, a red cent as a tip. It’s discourteous and shameful and if that is the way they conduct business with other people in town, I can only imagine the way the treat their guests.

The staff here are extremely helpful. We stayed 3 nights, used 2 rooms, for 5 adults and 4 toddlers. Rooms are very soundproof, and in good condition. The pool is very nice, and there is a beautiful, fenced, grass area. The WiFi is pretty good, plus there is a public computer and printer in the very nice lobby. The lobby is actually useable. The only negative is that the elevator is rather slow. Our request to have the shower fixed was accomplished the same day.
We had local guests, and we were allowed to use the conference room for free so that our group of 20 could bring in pizza.

I took my 2 children here for one night while my husband was away. It was amazing! We stayed on the 5^th floor with a beautiful view!!! The room was clean, bathroom was clean. The pool was awesome, although the front desk did not tell me we needed a special diaper for the baby to go in it… Back yard is beautiful and fenced in. I am almost jealous of the welfare people who get to live here for free!

DO NOT TRUST this business to deliver service, or even at the agreed price. DO NOT TRUST these people to behave honorably or to do the right thing. Events: I return to room after 7pm. Room has not been cleaned. I’m hot, tired, don’t want hassle now! BUT, don’t forget this at checkout time, says I. Next morning I speak to manager. Again, don’t forget this at checkout tomorrow… I’m not happy, says I. Next morning I checkout. Manager not there; she’s out «shopping for the hotel» says the clerk. There’s no discount for the dirty room. In fact, they want $ 90, $ 100+, and $ 116 for three nights reserved at $ 90 each, which I proved with a paper email confirmation from them. Clerk says she can’t make changes to rate. Call manager, says I. Manager tells clerk the $ 90 each is OK; but tells clerk she thought dirty room was OK with me and resolved. No discount even offered! So she doesn’t remember what I said to her face 24 hrs earlier?! She remembered enough to see to it that she wasn’t there when I checked out! DO NOT TRUST this place. Go somewhere else and tell everybody you know the reason why.

Room and facilities were fine. The bathroom was a cramped disaster. Not nearly enough space for two people to put toiletries on the sink counter. And when things fell off, they fell in the toilet. If I were by myself, I might use this hotel again but if I were with my wife, I would go elsewhere. Breakfast was minimal.

I party a lot in this town. I make my reservations if its going to be a long night. This place is cool, the beds are so comfortable. The location is a good one.
