Quite a place of Sichuan food. If you like Chinese cuisine and spicy dishes, this is a very good choice. Appetizers were very tasty.

I went here few times for lunch with my co-workers. Most of time, food is very decent and service is not bad. I am not a big fan of hot-n-sour soup here, but chicken dishes and such are very good. I would give 3.5 stars, but I guess I cannot. Overall, I would say«Give it a try».

Ok so this is my first review in here. I just had to post it after getting dinner here. I went here for dinner as I am in town for 2 weeks. I read some really good reviews so after looking up how far it would be for me to drive to I drove here from my hotel. I walked in and after browsing the menu opted to get something simple that any decent Chinese place could provide. Egg drop soup and chicken fried rice. First impression from the host was a bit rude as when I asked for the house special fried rice with chicken she corrected me by saying you want chicken fried rice. Ok than I got that and the egg drop soup. Some fifteen minutes later I headed out with my food & drove back to the hotel. Got back and opened the containers, the soup was bright yellow and not appealing visually & needed some seasoning. Same thing with the chicken fried rice, bland and loaded with bean sprouts I didn’t find a lot of chicken in it. I think the only consolation was the packaging since during the winding drive neither popped open while I was going back to my hotel. If first impressions matter than I don’t plan on coming back here again. I am giving them one star since Unilocal won’t allow an option of none.

Try the authentic Sichuan dishes. Every dish we’ve tried has been very good and it emboldened is to try other dishes we otherwise would never have tried. Bawang chicken is spicy and tasty, whole Fried filet of fish was awesome.

So I just ordered and received our take out order. Yes the hot/sour soup was great, egg roll standard, spicy shredded chicken had great favors, but why am I giving it 2 stars. Well let’s start and end with the sesame bbq boneless pork strips. They have regular and they offer a sesame bbq, which I so wrongly assumed was perhaps a lovely hoisen sauce with toasted sesame seeds, but not for the luxury of paying 1.00 more, and this is not about money believe me! I received standard boneless ribs, with a teaspoon of sesame seeds thrown on top! Really??? Don’t even put them on your menu please, as that is just a clear self set up for failure.

Have been here many times with my colleagues for our weekly Friday lunch. We always order from the authentic Chinese section of the menu. By far, they serve one of the best Chinese food I have ever had. The cold Ba Wang chicken and mapo-tofu is my favorite here. I love the spice level in all the dishes. It is not too spicy for me to eat but it causes me to sweat like crazy. It is a great feeling. Their service is nice and quick. One thing I find inconvenient is that they accept only two credit cards per table and when we go as a group we can not split up the check and pay by our individual cards.

Disclosure this review is after only one visit. Our visit was very pleasant and well handled. Despite being very crowded they sat us quickly and got our food to us in a timely manner. They have a nice balance of hot schezuan dishes plus some American chinese dishes which allow people with different tastes to eat here and all come away happy. We had the X07 Cold Noodle with Chili Sesame Vinaigrette mild burn nice flavors, X01 Poached Chicken with Chili Sauce which was in a both of chilli sauce/oil very tasty but very dangerous. T02 Dry Tea Smoked Duck pleasant but not exceptional T04 BaWang Dry Hot Chicken over crispy with most of the chicken incinerated and 26 Seafood Delight which was an over abundance of seafood in a very safe white sauce, we left that to our non heat loving friend and so can’t comment. Their willingness to not dumb down food means we will look forward to coming back and working our way through teh menu which seems to have many interesting things to try.

Good place for take out. Had the chicken with garlic sauce and it was better than I expected. Had great flavor with the chicken done right. Quantity was enough for two.

My family and I enjoy Sichuan Palace. It is consistent, nothing outstanding or out of this world but we’ve always had decent service and good food. We usually get the typical pu-pu platter with a rice dish. I have had the lo mein which I thought was really good. My kids like it and they are pretty fussy so that alone is worth 4 stars. :)

Wanton soup was nice, Scallion pancakes were indeed the best I’ve ever had, not soggy or greasy! My daughter, who hates scallions even liked them, without dipping sauce. Kung pao chicken was very good, but my daughter wasn’t impressed with her sweet and sour chicken, felt they were like over attested chicken fingers, without much chicken in them, and just sauce poured over. Good size portions and reasonable dinner prices, average service, had to wave to get waiters attention, but after asking, service was prompt.

I love this place. The food is fantastic and we happily drive down from Nashua to get it. From what friends who have been to China have told me, this is the real deal when it comes to authentic Chinese food. The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and the service is always good.

This is our go-to place when we want Chinese food in Chelmsford. The food is much better than your average suburban Chinese restaurant. Not greasy, very flavorful. Lately, I’ve been picking items on the«special» parts of the menu. While the kung pao chicken on the regular part of the menu is a little sweet, the one called Chinese Style Kung Bao Chicken is not, and very tasty. I also like the Mu shi pork from the Chef’s Special Stir Fry portion of the menu. Unlike the dish from elsewhere on the menu, it is not served with pancakes. It has delicious pork, vegetables, and fungus. Great with a side of rice. One thing to note — if you love Cambodian spicy chicken wings, do not get the spicy wings here. I know they are different cuisines, but the chicken wings here pale by comparison. The chicken here is over breaded, the meat is dry, and they are barely spicy. There are many great items on the app menu here. Get anything but the chicken wings.

Sichuan Palace is the kind of chinese restaurant that every town needs; it handles all the authentic cuisine well enough that I can eat here week after week, but not well enough that I want to eat it every single day! the happy medium; the perfect purveyor of takeout thursday’s meal. I am in a horrible love with the bawang spicy chicken; its spicy and flavorful popcorn chicken I guess. The skin is crispy and just the right amount of oily delicious, but the chicken is very much white meat and there in abundant quantity. The spicy whole fish, although more expensive, is a great option if eating dinner there as a big group. It looks impressive and also, more importantly, tastes delicious. However, if you do choose to eat there, I strongly recommend the actual«authentic» portions; for instance, kung pao chicken is on there twice and one is designed to be less spicy. That being said, the food is spicy, and that should not be a knock against the restaurant, buyer beware

Authentic Chinese food. What do I mean by authentic? How about Spicy Pork Intestines or Kidney or Sautéed Shin Bone? This place has established its street cred with those type dishes. So you can feel safe ordering Mu shu whatever. Portions were very large and cost reasonable. Boneless spare ribs, Bok Choy, beef with eggplant were all very good.

Food was fresh, but the taste was so-so, ordered Szechuan chicken — fresh and decent, crab rangoons did not hit the mark. My rating scale 2 stars = below par 3 stars = average or better 4 stars = definitely better than avg fare 5 stars = Superlative

My husband was not around, so figured I’d try the lunch special, which was kung pao. It came with either sweet and sour or egg drop soup, 1 spring roll or 2 crab rangoons or 1 chicken wing, and white rice or fried rice. I also ordered scallion pancakes. I ordered the kung pao to be only mildly spicy, but that must have been communicated as no taste. This dish was the most bland kung pao ever, and the egg drop soup was slimy. I ended up throwing both out but did enjoy the scallion pancakes and the chicken wing. The wing was more of a Kentucky fried wing than a Chinese restaurant wing, which was ok. Will be a while before I go to this place again… so soon after we discovered it. Very disappointed in their lunch special. Price was right but the food was wrong. Tried to give three stars but just couldn’t.

If you are looking for some authentic Sichuan food, here is the place to get it. Of course knowing what to order though. I frequently come here about 1 –2 times a month just because I crave for that one thing that they make very well here. That is called«fei-tang-yue»(I am very sorry as I do not know the English name and I am not Chinese but will pronounce this and they understand). It is served in a hot pot bowl with flames below. Very spicy flounder fish with tofu and bean sprouts. When I say spicy, I am telling you it is VERY spicy. The only problem with this dish is, it is very oily and some people do not like all that oil. I enjoy it with a Tsingtao beer to settle the spice. If you are a fan of pork, definitely order the appetizer pork and garlic.(another warning is do not plan on going on a date after to the movies because your breathe will be kicking of garlic). Pea pod stems, dandan noodles, spicy wonton, spicy beef noodles, ohhh the goodness!

Went here again today for a lunch meeting. I had the following: Crispy boneless duck lunch special w/ Hot & Sour Soup Pork Fried Rice Crab Rangoon Everything was very good… especially the boneless duck which was phenomenal. The PFR was OK but it had a nice clean flavor… mostly rice… not much pork. The rangoon & H&S soup were VERY good as well… probably some of the best H&S I’ve had over the years.
