After jetskiing… we had breakfast here. The shrimp, lump crabmeat omlete with the home fries was on point. My daughter had the 2 huge pancakes… eggs and bacon. Great food. sweet tea and they also have slot machines and keno!!! Will definitely be back…

Went there tonight with family. Had salad and to my surprise there was a drink cup lid in bottom of salad. Makes you wonder what else falls in your food. Pointed it out to waitress, manager never came to table. Think I will pass next time.

Definitely not worth the money. We ordered crab dip, stuffed flounder and a broiled seafood platter. The crab dip was mediocre it had kind of an acidic taste to it, the only plus was a few large chunks of crab. The stuffed flounder had very little flavor in the actual fish and the stuffing was greasy with an odd flavor. In the broiled seafood platter the fish had no flavor and was dry. The scallops had very little flavor other than the old bay that sprinkled on top. The shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Even the broccoli was average, it was mushy and watery I can make WAY better seafood at home.

Service was excellent, but that was it. Crab dip was very heavy, flounder lacked flavor, and my buffalo chicken salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce, more breaded than chicken, and not so tasty buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Would not eat here again. Seems to be a theme with most restaurants in the Chesapeake Beach/North Beach area… mediocre.

Great restaurant. Our severer was friendly and polite but my son ordered onion rings and received french fries instead. All of our food was pretty good but my calamari wasn’t seasoned well. In general an overall nice inexpensive sit down restaurant. Easy accessible and ample parking.

Good food and clean place but be careful on the weekend nights. It get’s loud and is more of a 21 year old drunken hang out than a restaurant. But the rest of the time, good food and food atmosphere

Back this morning for breakfast with a group that wanted to go. Service started out terribly(the hostesses alone are awful and unhelpful at best). Breakfast was decent and our actual waitress was better than we’ve had in the past for sure. I still don’t love this place but it’s local so I wish I did.

Walked in and knew we should have left after seeing all of the slot machines. Service was extremely slow and the food was really disappointing.

The proportions are very large but the quality of the food was not any different then a frozen meal you would make quickly at home. They also did not have but one ale available, which makes the name misleading.

Brought my niece and nephews here during vacation and we loved it! The selection was good and the food was great. Our waitress Lauren was friendly, helpful and very attentive. There was a tiny problem with our booth which didn’t bother us and we didn’t complain about, but the manager came over and comped all our desserts anyway. We went back the next day for breakfast and were not disappointed at all. Highly recommended!

The fried, butterflied shrimp are great. Even the cocktail sauce is amazing. Service is good. The menu is varied. Now, I just have to stop ordering the shrimp and branch out!

Staying in Chesapeake Beach where 3 of the closest restaurants have less than positive reviews and one is now closed. So, I didn’t have high expectations when we walked into Traders. We went with safe bets, fried chicken wrap, fried chicken salad, and nuggets and fries for our daughter. My husband judged his salad with«its just okay» and I thought my wrap was good. Service was friendly and prompt. But there were a lot of flies in the restaurant. Ick!

Cheap and cheerful. The waitresses are friendly and knowledgable. The food is nothing special, with fried seafood, burgers and pizza. The atmosphere is loud, with music on the outside terrace and one-armed bandits inside.

Excellent stop after a day on the beach! The wife and I dined here Saturday night after the wine tasting on the beach. I had broiled seafood platter and she had the fried seafood platter and we shared steamed crab legs. Lots of food and everything was on point! Our server Jade was the best! Nice ambience of music just off the deck area. Great job Trader’s, keep it up!

I visited(5÷30÷15) first time. Ordered sausage gravy w/biscuits & cheese grits-Delicious! The sausage gravy creamy, smooth w/flavorful sausage, biscuits fluffy, light, tender. The grits creamy solid texture-no runny grits here. Trisha server/bartender provided wonderful hospitality & services. Coffee cups never empty. Yes this great service occurred seated @ restaurant Bar! Worth a return visit. Restaurant is located in Chesapeake Beach 10 minutes drive from the sandy beach of North Beach, MD.

We went here on a Sunday after visiting family nearby. I would have to say that I wish we had chosen a different place. First, it looks like they have not cleaned up the outside of this place in a while. What looks to be a decade’s worth of cigarette butts litter the entrance. We arrived were there at 2:30pm. They were still on their breakfast/lunch menu. I had already had breakfast and was not interested in the lunch menu that is full of sandwiches. The serving staff were like the menu police, informing us that dinner is not until 4pm. Since we were already there we decided to make do. We ordered a dozen raw oysters, crab dip, and ‘Traders Boardwalk fries’. The oysters were very good, but I had to ask for saltines and hot sauce. IMO that should come standard. The crab dip was mediocre at best. A little less cheese and a lot more crab would greatly improve upon this. The fries were outright disgusting. They were an overcooked congealed mass that I should have sent back immediately. Burnt bacon and dark brown fries that had to be pried apart. Also they forgot the ranch sauce. For my main I had the shrimp and crab quesadilla. It was extremely dry. It desperately needed a sauce of some sort. Another had overcooked fried oysters. Another had buffalo wings(I question ordering these at a seafood/steak house, but they are on the menu). The wings were a soggy mess. Lastly was a reuben that had to have more thousand island applied as it too was dry. Only half of that was eaten. Maybe I happened to go there on a bad day. I do know that if you like overcooked food in a dated setting, this is your place. Also, the missing booth seats on the elevated platform that was replaced by two regular chairs looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
