Cracker Barrel is an interesting creature. Rocking chairs that numerous customers have plopped their butts in during the breakfast rush available for purchase. I’ll tell ya that’s exactly what I want, used furniture — potentially overpriced, used furniture(admittedly I’ve never bothered to look at prices because, well, I don’t think I’ll ever be purchasing a used wicker rocking chair). I digress. I was happy to find that they had their lunch menu available when we arrived at 10:30 because I was real hungry for something other than breakfast. I decided on the grilled chicken club with bacon and a salad. Two issues, I never got my salad and the cook(or whoever) forgot my bacon. Seriously, that was the most important part of the meal… BAAAAAAAAAAAACONNNNNNNN Our server immediately fixed the problem, but you know how that goes. It was an «A-ok» standard meal.

You just can’t give the Barrel less than 4 stars! No, it’s not high end foo foo, but that’s not why you came. You came because the folks are friendly and the food is always good. Possibly the best deal in America for the money, and always a fun stop !

Just got my food to go and each side I got was maybe ¼ to 1⁄3 the side size I would normally get sitting in. Love Cracker Barrel but this disappoints me.

If I could give it a zero star I would. When I got home with my to-go order, my food was cold(except the turnip greens, they were still warm). My husband got the chicken fried steak with double okra and Mac n cheese — he literally took a bite or two of his chicken fried steak and found a HUGE piece of gristle and then bite after bite there where more pieces making his meal inedible. He got double okra which what he got was the side of ONE side that you would get if you were dining in. The mac n cheese was literally a quarter cup — probably half or a third of what the portion should have been. Not thrilled at all to have wasted $ 25 on our meal, plus a 7 minute drive on this kind of quality. We will not be returning to his location. Extremely disappointed in what is normally an amazing chain.

If you come here for the service you will be disappointed. It took assistance from two other waitresses to cover the poor performance of the one that was supposed to be serving our table.

Today we were in a rush for a purpose. We stopped at Cracker Barrel to fuel up for our blood donation at the FM99 Rock & Roll Up Your Sleeve blood drive. Our server, Sherri, was fantastic! My son’s over easy eggs had one under-cooked yolk. The rest of the food was fantastic! We had breakfast.

Food is always good. Service can vary. Almost always a clean friendly environment. Been visiting this one since it opened.

I know there are a lot of comfort foods served at Cracker Barrel aka«fattening» but to be fair there are also healthy items. I ordered the healthy grilled haddock which was scrumptious and the broccoli then I spotted the sweet potato and salad and I was good. Then out of the corner of my eye I spotted the dumplings… okay, I had to try them!!! The pressure was killing me. I ate each dumpling one at a time and each one melted in my mouth. It was so worth the calories. I was amazed how absolutely delicious these sinful pillows of dough were with each bite until I ate one of the homemade biscuits. Yes, my friends… the biscuits were to die for, so crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The type that make you want to jump in the streets and shout Hallelujah!!! Yes, from the wonderful sweet tea to the heart attack biscuits and dumplings, I love Cracker Barrel. Oh, love the store outside in the waiting area although I didn’t have to wait long and the down home country cozy atmosphere inside. Definitely family friendly and low priced. $

The waitress dropped our drinks off and never came back to the table. I had to grab ketchup off another table and I never got all my food.

The food is always tasty. I don’t like walking into a store and stuff meets me at the door with clutter. The staff is very friendly yet busy.

I used to shy away from here cause I thought they only served breakfast. But they serve lunch and dinner too… and it is quite yummy! I’m not a big«going out» breakfast eater, but I do love a great lunch/dinner. I dined here for lunch on a Sunday then again on a Saturday. And both times, I was very pleased with the food and service! The only reason as to why I didnt give a 5th star is because I had to keep asking for things that should have been already on the table. Also what caused them the 4th star… the temperature of the food was meh… Nevertheless, everything else was grrrrrrrrrrrrreat! I sampled the pork chop… it was blah. And by blah I mean no seasoning at all. However, the corn and cabbage was great! I also tried the ribs… OH M GEEEEEE!!! Now these ribs bang from the north south east and west!!! I sampled them both days and both days they were cooked and seasoned to perrrrrrrfection!!! If you get a chance to go, definitely try these. The atmosphere… clean and full of cheer! Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying themselves with no worries! From the babies to the seniors… a good time was experienced by all. Saturday about noonish, it was packed and the people just kept coming. However, the staff here sat everyone within 15mins or less… great job! The restrooms were kept clean as well. Staff was available in the Cracker Barrel store ready to help and deliver a smile… great look! I’ll be visiting again. Hopefully it will be a 5 star experience. Have fun!

When this cracker barrel first opened service and food was superior. However now, service is extremely slow, management slower and the food is worse than mediocre

Some Cracker Barrels serve good hot food, just not this one. It is hit and miss. I think they leave the food sitting in the window until your server can get it instead of the first available. We used to come here every Saturday morning, but we gave it up. Cold food too many times.

Do you ever have those days that you just want some«down home» comfort food. Well, I was down in the area and one of my staple restaurants had closed so I decided to go to Cracker Barrel(CB). You gotta smile or smirk over the décor and the gift items here. I marvel and have a nostalgic moment each time I see the candy assortment. They have candy that was popular when I was a kid as well as when my mom & grand mom were kids. It’s sooo awesome how you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner at any point of the day. CB now has low cal options which is commendable. Comfort does not have to be calorie gaining. On this visit, I had the Tuesday special of grilled lemon Trout, with my two sides of green beans, turnip greens and non-sweet tea. The fish was light, seasoned well and flavorful. The green beans & turnip greens were seasoned not oily or over cooked. They were appetizing and filling. Decided against bread so I felt full but not stuffed. YEAH, WILLPOWER. Enjoyed my comfy meal and the fact that I was not sleepy afterwards and had lots energy. Ask for Nicole, she was personable, attentive and catering to our needs. She exuded southern charm & personality. I say if you want to go to a chain restaurant for breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go. Good food, good service at a good price.

I’ve been here quite a few times, and honestly it’s not really one of my favorite places to go. Almost every time my food comes out, at least one thing like mashed potatoes or Mac n cheese is lukewarm at best. Just kinda seems like food sits around for awhile before they serve it. Don’t get me wrong, the food can be pretty good., but like I said. Not my favorite restaurant.

Fantastic service here, from start to finish. But if you are a hash brown lover like myself and debating between this Cracker Barrel and the Waffle House next door, go next door. I ordered a side of hash brown casserole($ 3), since I was planning on sharing my dining companion’s huge sunrise sampler. The casserole was quite disappointing — very small portion, mushy with no crisp. I should have gone with the regular hash browns. I tried the grits, fried apples, and biscuits and they were all eh.

I’m harder on chain restaurants than I am on locally owned ones when it comes to ratings. I happen to enjoy CB very much and this location has never given me any problems. CB definitely is the kind of place where you have to know what to order. Breakfast is their thing. I used to love their hashbrown casserole and fried apples(try putting them on the biscuits or even better – ask for apple butter), but find it can be hit or miss now. The one thing I will order from the dinner menu is the special chicken on Sundays. Whatever coating they put on that chicken is like crack. We used to only go to a CB when we were traveling but now that we have one close to our house we go more often.

Good Cracker Barrel. Quick service, reasonable price and the food was good. Have had some bad experience in the past with Craket Barrel but this one hit a home run with me.

Been here about 10 times and I have sort of mixed feelings about the place. Part of me wonders how hard is it to make breakfast and the other part of me says that I have never really ordered anything on the menu other than breakfast at Cracker Barrel. My visits here have been fine. Good waitstaff and clean bathrooms. On my last visit, my wife’s breafast was pretty bad. Usually they heap on the portions, but her plate looked barren. For some reason, I remember CB always putting out corn bread and biscuits. They dont seem to do that any longer. We had to ask for it. the kids got their usual pancakes and I got an egg sandwich. The coffee is hot and nothing special. Sort of tastes just like the coffee from Waffle House. Which also made me wonder if we should have gone to the new Waffle House that they just built next door to this CB. My wife likes the store, but I hate it. Lots of junk and candy. I also hate having to peel my kids away from the cheap toys in the back corner. In all, it fills the hole… but I think that I would rather go to Dunkin Donuts or even a IHOP. I will have to visit an IHOP and see how they are doing these days.
