The EPIC burger is indeed epic, a towering handful of lightly sweet whole-wheat bun filled with fresh produce and beefy smashed patty. As someone who is not prone to being impressed with claims of all-natural organic eating, I will admit that I could taste the higher quality in these ingredients and appreciate how generous the staff at this location was with their bacon. There was a pleasing amount of grease and meat juice dripping onto my basket paper and plenty of seating for diners.

Best burger that has a natural source in as many ingredients you can think of. Love their milkshakes too.

Darn good vegetarian burger. I ordered the bunless portobello vegetarian burger with fries. No complaints. Service was quick, restaurant was clean, and I ate everything on my plate.

I’m a very easy customer but I still had a crappy service from the cashier(big, short dark hair & pale girl) to give me a crappy service. She would give the impression of her being annoyed after bringing my order and others. My total came up to 13 almost 14 dollars for a burger, fries and a drink crazy!!! Epic isn’t that epic.

The burger was very good! The fries weren’t the greatest but the burger was great! The people were friendly and the food came out pretty quick!

Best burger I’ve had in a long time. I got the bbq cheddar bacon burger. So yummy. The bun was amazing and the patty was very fresh and cooked perfectly. A little bigger than the bun which was nice. Already have gone back for the same burger and it was just as good.

Egh. Just egh. Totally not Epic but it wasn’t bad. Burgers were very tasty. Loved the«healthier» options provided.(Wheat bun, turkey burger, etc.) A little pricey for the size of the burgers which were anything but ‘epic.’ Atmosphere was okay. Not much traffic but the music choice was great. That was probably the best part next to their Epic Sauce. Wouldn’t recommend for a burger joint in Chicago.

Epic burger is a great alternative to fast food! The burgers are hearty and taste like real burgers. My favorite is the fries though– perfectly seasoned and delicious! Nice, friendly service and delicious food! Can’t go wrong!

Woa woa woa! Whats with all the hate on Epic Burger? This place is the business!!! I came in today and got a burger and it was yummy as always. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I had a minor issue with my order only once ever and the manager was totally cool about fixing it. If you haven’t been in, I suggest you give it a try for yourself. It is a decent place to get a solid burger. Plus the burgers are made with quality beef with no hormones and additives and all that other junk you’re going to get at other fast food restaurants and the price is super cheap for the quality. Fellow Unilocalers, I usually trust your judgement, but I think this place is a little better than 3.5 stars.

Came here a couple of times but was never wowed. I had somewhere to go today so I decided to go there since it’s so close to my house. I wish I knew how big of a mistake that would be! I go and order fries and a burger, walk home just to find out they forgot my fries so I walk back. They quickly grabbed some fries and threw them in my bag. I get home — happy I could finally eat just to taste that my fries were old, cold and hard. I called back and asked the manager for a refund and he said he couldn’t give me one so he’ll have the general manger call me on Monday(it was a Friday) 10 days have passed and still no call! I was going to rank them higher if I received a call because the burger was good though not worth the price but poor customer service and follow through is inexcusable.

I’m trying to figure out why this chain is called«Epic» Burger. The only thing that was epic about my experience here was the giant chocolate chip cookie. I ordered a beef burger on white bread with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, and epic sauce. For a side I ordered the natural cut fries. I added on one of those huge chocolate chip cookies. Surprisingly the meal came out to me fast. There wasn’t a line, but I wasn’t sure if this was a made to order restaurant or actually a fast food chain. Based on the speed that I got my food, I’m going to assume that only the beef is made to order. When I first ordered the food I was so excited because I have had a few associates tell me how great this place is. Perhaps this location just sucks because when I received my food I was literally so underwhelmed by its presentation that I had to look at the menu to make sure I was at the right place. The burger buns were so greasy from being toasted. The burger was so greasy as if it wasn’t strained at all before hitting the buns. The lettuce and tomato had no freshness to taste. The epic sauce barely has any taste. The grilled onions were good, also greasy. The burger itself(after I had to deconstruct the entire sandwich to dab it with a napkin so as to get rid of some of the grease) had a great flavor. But not EPIC. Heres the biggest disappointment. The fries. The fries were fried to a crisp(not in a good way). Then it tasted like someone opened a whole can of salt and drenched them with it. I literally had to send them back and demand a fresh batch with no salt. I only did this after requesting honey mustard(which they didn’t have) or hot sauce(which they also didn’t have) to mask the saltiness. If this was McDonalds I would’ve been fine. But I dropped $ 13 on food that, in my honest opinion, tasted worse than most food I’ve ever gotten at McDonalds!?! It will take something serious to get me to run back to «Epic» Burger.

First time here, and I thought the burger was amazing! I can see why it’s a 3 – 4 star. The burger will taste ordinary after the first time, You can see the kitchen, crappy customer service, an expensive burger for its price, and no wifi in here.

Enjoyable, «epic» flavor! I had been hankering for a good juicy burger, and this one really hit the spot. I would have liked the fries a little crispier though, and the skinny choc shake was good but not sensational. But the burger is one of the best tasting ones I’ve had recently, and I’ll definitely be back for another.

I’m about to show my age… I remember when you could get a combo meal(fries, sandwich, drink) for $ 7.00, but now that can only get you a burger. The fancier the trend(grass-fed…organic…whatever)…the more pricier the cost. Well this is one of those trendy places. I think I would have felt more comfortable paying that price if it didn’t have such a fast food type atmosphere. When you walk in there’s a sheet that explains how to order… white or wheat bread, what type of cheese, extra add on’s, condiments. I ‘m actually not a huge fan of customization, but I will admit it was a pretty decent burger. Nothing over the top, but it was juicy and the blue cheese paired with the burger was good. I’ve had better burgers and probably wouldn’t be willing to pay $ 7.00 for this in the future.

I had a last minute craving for a milkshake on my way to class, stopped in for fries and a few peanut butter shake to go. Definitely will be coming back and trying the light shakes! I had dinner already so I didn’t have much room but it was so rich and I wonder if the light option is easier to digest. Love it though, can’t wait to try their food and loved the atmosphere!

Maybe I was hoping for more but it was really just an average burger. The shake was too small for the price and it there wasn’t anything that left an epic impression in my mind. Convenient to down town hotels and quick service however makes it a great lunch break destination when you really aren’t sure what you’re in the mood for.

This place definitely fulfilled my craving for a awesome juicy burger! The horseradish havarti cheese and grilled onions complimented the burger well and the patty looked to be made by hand. It had that yummy juiciness to it that made it a little messy to eat and in my book means it’s a good burger! Skip the salad and come here for a satisfying meal!

Was in Chicago Last summer on a sightseeing trip and came across Epic Burger after a long day of walking around the city. We couldn’t agree on a place to eat so we came to the first food place we found and it happened to be Epic Burger. WOW I’m so glad we did. The food was FANTASTIC! A bit pricey but we soon found out it was because all of their food is Organic and All Natural. I had a classic epic burger with sea salt fries. Delicious. I cannot rave enough about this place, if I ever go back to Chicago, Epic Burger will definitely be on my list of places to visit.
